I'm glad to see the portrait showcase part of the reviews lately. The portrait of any figure is very important to me. It was very nice to see the lighting changes on the portrait demonstrated. It is a nice touch, and I would love to see more in the future. As always, amazing review!
I have to agree! Like we said in the video, I think it’s easy to gloss over the tinier details that went into the facial structure. It’s ok though if collectors miss it, because not everyone is looking as closely as I am.
I guess it’s why we feature it. How do I look at it and what do I see? How do we aid the viewer into seeing it differently or better? 😄
That section of the video is definitely sticking around for the long run. ❤

Echo’s neck sleeve was a fluke, because it was meant for a modification on Rex. I chickened out because I didn’t want to mess up, so the piece was just there. It ended up being perfect! Give it a shot, I think you’ll like the portrait on the Transport Trooper 😄🙌

I personally loved the thumb up holding hands, I find it much much easier to switch weapons than all my other figures
I love them as well! It was the pattern around the thumb that I thought was strange. I’m using the thumb gesture in my display actually! 😄

I absolutely love this figure. At first I was unsure whether to get it or not as I own the first Beskar Mando, but I'm so glad I picked it up. He just pops in the display with the chrome finish. I did however "clean" him up and removed the weathering effect on the armour and I'm so glad I did. I didn't mind the weathered appearance but after removing it, he just shines in the collection.
Keen to see if he goes through any changes in season 3 which would mean another release from Hot Toys but at this point, I think he's the pinnacle version of Mando

This piece really does demand attention in the display and it looks so good! I don’t blame you for cleaning him either. I purchased a whole new set of pieces to do that exact thing for my previous Mando. With the way you make it sound, I can’t wait to start the process!
This will have to be the end of my Mandalorian figures though. If they end up releasing anything else, I may just buy the parts to adjust around his appearance.

I have to get Bo-Katan first since I have the previous version of Mando, but this will definitely be on my radar for the future!
We did a review here on the channel for her some months ago I believe. Maybe... December? I can't recall.
Anyway, she's suuuuuch a great figure! While I was a little annoyed with her articulation, she's a BEAUTIFUL figure to have in the display. In fact, I might go in and pose her up after I reply to a few more comments, haha!

I didn't care to get the deluxe version for the swoop bike accessories so I went for the regular version. I plan to die the jumpsuit brown as it's meant to be.
I can’t blame you on either front honestly. I did note the jumpsuit was wrong, but I had to weigh the pros/cons of the video length.
I would’ve wanted to point out all of the fun facts / flaws if I did. Which would’ve meant more time spent producing the review, lol! 😭
Anyway, best of luck with the dye process! I’m sure you’ll be able to find a nice contrasting brown with the brown waist section.

Hey there, BostonCollectors! I’m glad I found your channel. I absolutely love your focus on details and lighting! Your analysis is wonderful.
I wanted to ask, is it possible to fit Pedro Sculpt onto the season 1 Beskar one? I saw your analysis on it (and to be extra careful) and wondered if you could fit it on carefully with the costume still on?
Also, do you just tug firmly on the previous version’s neck joint for it to come off?

With the costume on, it doesn’t change tooo much. However, I did notice a few things though. The neck on this release is tailored in a way for it to stiffen the area so that you aren’t fighting with the suit to lock the portrait down.
On the Season 1 Beskar Mandalorian, we have a lot more fabric to fight with which means it’ll probably look a bit hectic. You’d have to futz it to death.
The neck joint did put up a bit of a fight, but nothing that required tools. Hope this helps!

That’s not bad actually! I ended up putting all the bigger pieces back in the box myself, but I would like to use some of them later for the Swoop Bike.

Yow, is it safe from flaking issues?
No, unfortunately it isn't. There's pleather on the bandolier, holster, belt and weapon strap. If you're able to condition it regularly you should be fine, but if not, then it's pretty RIP.
