I am a former PC Lead Systems Engineer, and know my way well around Windows, and computers. But, you have saved me so much time and aggravation with better understanding and repairing Windows 10’s constant bugs, errors and inefficiencies. Thank you, very much, mate. Cheers!
I tried to install windows 11 through the link from another of your videos. I do the pc health compatibility check and I get a message saying "The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11" my processor is an Intel celeron CPU N3060 @ 1.60 GHz. Question for original youtube poster @Britech09 or anyone that knows. Should I not try to use my HP laptop with windows 11? Is it too slow? Ty
I've done this many times on 10....but trying to do it on 11 the download just sits at zero %....and yes my internet is just fine.....
Could you make a video on how to make a fresh reinstall of windows 11 and removes the previous windows 11 that slows down PC?
Thanks
Thank you Brian for sharing these Windows 11 tips and tricks. Always do a clean install. Never go upgrade.
You're welcome!
You're right about that. I did and it fooked my system in several key areas. File search broke and the windows store stopped working. Throw in it also caused my Adrenalin GUI to stop working.... ;(. I used a recovery usb to go back to windows 10, not going windows 11 till next year.
Thanks. There is never a definitive answer about Upgrade versus Clean Install. I prefer to make a bootable USB and do it at my pace.
A reminder for anybody that doesn't know, or has forgotten, if you have an old Windows 7 Pro or Windows 8 Pro installation disk, you can use those activation keys to upgrade a Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro.
That is correct
Much appreciated for doing step by step guide @Brian, and old boomer like me who likes to do experiments with software also patiently waiting for that list, thank you.
What if i have a digital licence? and I just upgraded from 10 to 11 and would like to do a fresh install? then what do i do?
Didn't know about that shift F10 bypass. learnt something new haha
You always do with the old Britec
For those who was trying to reset their PC bc for some reason when you click ‘rest pc’ it won’t do anything. This works on wiping the drive, as of March 22 2024
I’ve done all these things and it still doesn’t allow me to. What is it I might be doing wrong.
Hello, I'm really struggling with this one as Shift + F10 just doesn't work, so I tried Windows Key + R then cmd, this opened the command interface. Then I get Users\Peter and I input taskmgr ok, get into task manager but can't locate network connection flow. I have a five day old Lenovo Yoga 7 Pro which came with Windows 10 Home installed, I would like to upgrade this to Windows 10 Pro before upgrading to Windows 11 which I am now being offered. I have tried two activation keys, both valid according to Windows PID checker. one turned out to be for Windows 7 volume license, the other for Windows 8.1 RTM volume license so no luck there. I have downloaded an iso image of Windows 10 Pro, soon as I get to the input key, not valid, same if I try to update just by inserting the product key. I've been back to the dealers and they said there is no way I can upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from home. Help please. Peter H
hi britec i have a question: if i delete all partitions and i try to install on windows 11 on my drive but there is a error and i have to cancel de Installation what happens can i boot back in to windows ? or will my system be corrupted and i cant boot back in to windows 11 i dont feel confident deleting partitions
Hello, i been planning to buy an new laptop but that laptop come with windows 11 home, and i want to make an image of clean installation which i cant connect to internet and use local account because the windows will get an update but the laptop also come with free microsoft home account so i been wondering, can you still change to Microsoft Home account from local account after later on? (also what will happen if you connect to internet after installing the windows without internet?)
I tried to install windows 11 through the link from another of your videos. I do the pc health compatibility check and I get a message saying "The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11" my processor is an Intel celeron CPU N3060 @ 1.60 GHz. I'm fine with win 10 on my msi computer. Unless they force us to do it, I won't do it. I don't know if they will force us to change to win 11 or not.
do u have to disable csm?
Uh No drivers including soujd were not there when I did a clean install
Great video Brian.
it’s a pain having to have a Microsoft account just to install windows .
For instance say you are fixing a pc for someone or giving it away or selling it .
You don’t want to put your account details in when doing a clean install
Microsoft are just crazy sometimes
I couldn't agree more
Now the question is...does the old school idea of " unplugging the ethernet cord" and physically turning off ( or via bios/uefi) disabling the wlan aka wifi card within the laptop and THEN running the windows 11 installer allow you to bypass that bullshit ms account requirement? OR has microshit patched that work around in winturd 11 versus 10 and older versions?
I ask because I haven't tried yet and honestly not interested unless I get a customer who's pc has winturd 11 only it ( not encountered one yet so far)
I am not sure why they do silly stuff like this.
Do we need pendrive for installation
yes
This is outdated. I believe Windows 11 Pro now requires internet and an account.
Wish I could just play games on pc!
Didn't microsoft tell the masses that windows 10 will be the last windows???
👍👍
👍Thanks
Thanks Brian.
When doing a "clean install" I usually disconnect all but the boot drive beforehand.
Glad to help

Performing a clean install of Windows 11 is the best thing to do to make sure that Windows works at its best, just like any version of Windows.
If having 1TB SSD and have installed Windows 10 Pro, if I wanted install Windows 11 Pro as dual boot, can create the partition for Windows 11 Pro during installation…? Correct? Is any special Tip/Trick have in mind for dual boot, or is an easy process as fresh install…?
Let's just hope that Microsoft doesn't "patch" this workaround in a future feature version of Windows 11 like the one for 2022 for instance
Not sure why they forced this on people with Windows 11 Home.
Hello, I am currently using windows 10 home. I want to upgrade to windows 11 (my pc is eligible BTW). But I want to do the upgrade by using clean install of windows 11. So, is it possible to clean install win 11 by downloading the iso from MS website OR do i have to download media creation tool and use a usb drive (which I don't have at present)?
Someone let me know... please
This is what I did a few days ago. And Honestly, it's much better perform than what I've done a months ago, when I upgraded Windows
With win11 23h2 home installation, shift+f10 > cmd > taskmgr > end task “network connection flow” method suggested in this video doesn’t work anymore. The installation setup loops back to the “internet connection selection” stage every time “network connection flow” service is killed via task manager. Is there any alternate workaround to it?
I made a clean instal of Win11with RUFUS, they have a script included to block the TPM requirement. Actually, an SSD encrypted with Bitlocker with TPM protection can be cracked relatively easily. So what is this all about?
Basically this software also do the same thing that rufus do the only difference is that this is microsoft's media creation tool to create flash drive bootable or download iso file in other words this is second rufus
I've done this many times on 10....but trying to do it on 11 the download just sits at zero %....and yes my internet is just fine.....

Hi Britec, I’ve been trying to fix my pc, I been getting error code 0x80072f8f and I’ve tried everything I’ve seen on the internet. I also get an error when trying to clean install which was my only hope of fixing this pc.

Hi, Tried numerous times but gets to screen and says must support TPM, I loaded the one that bypasses all old things but can’t get past it.
Can you use a Win 11.iso you hsve already downloaded and use the Windows 11 Installation Media Creation Tool to install it?
Does it matter if the location is set to United States since i live in UK if i want to reinstall windows 11 on the same computer? Great guide video. 👍
Can i install windows 11 on unsupported hardware using this process shown in this video
No, you will need to edit the registry
@@Britec09 Thank you Sir
@Jojo Rabbit Thank you
Can you disable fTPM after the install is done?
heres a question i have. when doing a fresh install of windows, does it reset all your BIOS settings you had before etc?
I have to try it March to see if its a safe drop here as I have to see it. Interesting website now.
Is there any difference if I used Rufus installation tool.?
Bro, can I use diskpart clean to wipe the ssd before installing windows 11
Should I upgrade to windows 11 now with my ryzen cpu?
So can I buy a prebuilt PC and do a fresh install using the OEM key to eliminate the bloatware/ crapware with the media creation tool?
Great guide Brian.
thank you!
Hi, What you suggest for best performance Windows 10 or Windows 11?
