Cap wielding Thor’s Hammer in Avengers Endgame
The Vader scene in Rogue One is, in my opinion, the most badass scene ever. Seeing it theatres actually brought a tear to my eye.
I remember watching Rogue One the day of release, and when this scene happened everyone in the theatre were all collectively like *holy shit*
With the doom music is just a little better but just my opinion

In terms of pure badassery, I’d say Legolas killing a Mumakil was more badass. But still, helm’s deep was awesome.
I always get chills when gandalf says "Theoden king stands alone."
Then Eomer comes into the scene and says, "Not alone, Rohirrim!!"

One of my favorite scenes of all time is when Gandalf faces off against the Balrog. That should definitely be on this list.

Or when Éowyn slays the Witch-King of Angmar with the help of Merry; that scene, with the epic reveal, got me every time - to each their own of course
Ride of Rohirim, battle with Balrog, and the battle of Helms Deep is and will always be the best moments in all of movie history.
Man the whole set up from Pippin dropping that skeleton all the way till Gandalf falls. The intensity is incredible.
Ride of the rohirrim is best moment in cinema. It's perfection. Also very emotional for some reason
Heath Ledger Joker vs Christian Bale when that truck flips but Batman could not kill Joker because of his morals is also beautifully choreographed action sequence symbolising both iconic characters

The lack of Gladiator on this list is sad. “Are you not entertained” has to go down as one of the greatest movie lines and scenes after a great fight. Also the final fight between the emperor and Maximus is so good

The lift fight scene in captain America winter soldier was one of my favourites.
I remember watching Vader's rampage in Rogue One with a legitimate sense of dread. The direction really made you feel how it would be like to be stuck in a dark room with a monster at the other end, coming for you. That is the one scene in the entire franchise that finally does him justice as the unstoppable menace that he is.
I'm balls deep in star wars but I really didn't like rogue one until that scene. To me it shows the potential the movie and what it could have been
@@tannermcguire7713 the point of Rogue One was to show the “human side” to the Star Wars universe. To show the real life view of normal/everyday people caught in the battle between the new found Rebellion and the tyrannical Empire. It was amazing because it shows the Star Wars universe without Jedi/Sith having to be at the forefront.
The Vader scene ended up being a cherry on top.

Very much a story of "here's every day heroes doing heroic shit, and in the end, here's what they're up against...", which honestly just makes it that much more heroic. It also shines a light on Ep4 when they make such a big deal about the sacrifices made to get those plans.
Rogue One Vader was a good pick. I also like...
1. V's televised speech to the public (V for Vendetta),
2. Leonidas' battlefield combat, where he has his Spartan helmet on and takes out a bunch of guys (300).
3. Matrix Reloaded highway scene starting with the fight with the ghosts in the underground car park.

The Equalizer should be on this list. The scene where Denzel Washington kills the Russian mafioso in their office is pure badass
He can have a list all to himself him not being on the list makes it void in my opinion you have American gangster, the book of eli, equalizer, man on fire just to name a few they could of took scenes from.
The scene in the Battle of Helms Deep when the Uruk Hai blow the wall up and the elves charge them with Aragorn shouting *Charge* in Elvish is such a badass moment.
20:32 - Just hearing the Avengers theme for 5 secs, gives me the chills.. definitely the most impactful and memorable of all scenes listed.

He hangs from flying planes , climbing Khalifa tower , flying ( fighter jets and helicopter ) , driving all kinds of vehicles and doing his own stunts.

I personally thought the Batmobile chase from the Batman was so dam Badass when I saw it in theatres. The slow walking mixed with the Batman theme went so hard
The ENTIRE Mad Max Fury Road movie is Badass!!!!
The Dark Knight Rises where Batman made an appearance and got away from the cops using a huge flying machine is a great badass scene.

From Hulk snapping back half the universe to Tony snapping out Thanos' army is pure cinematic geekgasm!
So not even an honourable mention for the Flash reverse time scene from Zack Snyder's Justice League?! The music plus the visuals plus the context = sheer badassery!!!

3. Darth Vader Hallway scene in Rogue One
4. Scorpion and Cole Young vs SubZero in Mortal Kombat (2021)
5. John Wick’s kill count in 1-3

Chloë Moretz's hallway fight scene in Kick-Ass. Any scene from RRR.
How on earth the charge of the Rohirrim doesn't even make the list, let alone be number one! This list has missed out some all time great 'EPIC' scenes!
1.Theoden's speech and the charge. (The swelling music, the chants of 'DEATH', shivers... everytime)
2. Anakin and Obi-Wan's face off at the end of ROTS. (The 6 film build up, the emotions, the climatic duel of 2 lightsaber masters in their prime!)
3.The fight at the house from Django Unchained. (The over the top brutality is just *chefs kiss*)
4. Miles Morales fall from the building from Into the Spiderverse. (Everything about this scene is incredible from the music to the mirror style shots).
5. The 4 vs 1 Gladiator fight scene from Gladiator. (Honestly I could have picked the opening battle as well as his showdown with the undefeated Tigris including some bonus tigers, but this scene with the epic shout 'ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!' just brilliant).
6. I know they mentioned it but it definitely should have made the list but Achilles and Hector facing off outside the city of Troy. (Two legendary heroes in a duel, need I say more?)
7. The slingshot around the black hole from Interstellar. (The score from Zimmer as well as the beautiful and terrifying vision of the black hole just sets the pulse racing)
8. The battle at the end of the first Transformers movie. (I know having giant robots beat the sh*t outta stuff is pretty commonplace now, but remember how you felt when you first saw the Autobots and the Decepticons literally going toe to toe for the first time, there was nothing like it at the time and it still holds up to this day)
There are literally so many that I haven't mentioned for the sake of brevity, but this list needs some work!
Because Endgame makes it look like another Tuesday
The rohirim charge is the most nostalgic, badass scene on this list. You cannot watch it without getting goosebumps all over. From the speech, to the horse ride across the length of the formation, to the clanging of swords, breathtaking!
528: The church scene might be brutal but it’s a favorite action scene of mine. Kingsman: The Secret Service is my favorite action movie. I also love Seth McFarlane’s inspiration

"10 years in the making" is key. The scene by itself is awesome, but the build-up over 10 years of storylines it what makes it one of the best ever. Plus even without the army, Cap wouldn't gone down swingin. Chills.
Darth Vader killing rebels will and ALWAYS be an iconic moment that leads straight into A New Hope!
All of these choices are great, especially Top Gun Maverick.
"You shall not pass!" from Fellowship of the Ring should be on here. That omission is a crime.
The Sage of Helm''s Deep action sequence is my favorite action sequence of all time. The set piece, music and everything was just spot on.

Top 3 (In my opinion):
1. Avengers Assemble
2. Darth Vader's Rampage
3. Sandstorm Chase
Having every Marvel character in the universe together at once to create one gigantic scene shows it is the most Badass scene ever. The Darth Vader Rampage is one of the greatest scenes in the Star Wars history and the best Darth Vader action sequence ever, the entrance is so chilling we could feel his presence, and his badass moves were undeniable, and the ending is the icing on top to prove he is one character you don't want to mess with. The last one was a tricky one between the Sparta scene and the sandstorm chase scene because they're both badass scenes, but I had to go with the Sandstorm chase scene in Mad Max: Fury Road because the Spart scene was more known for its catchphrase than its actual scene.

The build up Alone is what makes #1 deserving in my opinion for more than 10 years we’ve watched these massive armies and super hero’s in separate films fight briefly side by side with all the set up and foreshadowing you could muster all to culminate in the biggest and best superhero war scene in cinematic history. Seriously the final fight against thanos’s forces was 100% pure comic book overload as sorcerers, wakandans, Asgardians, Ravagers and much more (including Howard the duck I’m not kidding) team up to fight the biggest threat to the entire universe at this point.
It's a shame it was limited to movie scenes. The hallway/stairway one-shot fight with Daredevil and Punisher was probably the most impressive sequence I've seen in a long time
Two of the best come from their respective prison scenes.
Michael Myers killing all the firefighters through fire in Halloween Kills (2021) was pretty impressive to me.

For me, Avengers Assemble will forever be my favorite scene from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The music, performances, and the overall atmosphere is enough to make me wanna get up and cheer. There will never be another moment as iconic as seeing that moment for the first time

The Action nerd I happen to be Agrees with a huge Chunk of the list, and I have my own honorable mentions! Autobot vs Decepticon fight in Transformers, Car Chase in the Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum, Hotel Shootout in Takers, Horizontal Train 🚂 in Inception! Helicopter 🚁 ambush Exit Wounds, I could go on!

Ill throw my lot in with The Raid. Rama and his brother vs Mad Dog. One of the greatest action scenes of all time. And the music choice for the final battle is incredible. Raid 2 too. Both these movies are insane. Too bad the director doesn't want to finish of the trilogy anymore :(

While I like John Wick more, the Raid series is some of the best fighting I’ve ever seen!
Still remember the theatre erupted the moment all the Avengers came one by one n the famous "Assemble" with that superb score.
Bane crashing the plane was super too. Also Raid 1 climax fight, John Wick carnage at the club
And so many more, great list.
The freeway chase scene from Matrix Reloaded deserved a spot. As does the freeway chase scene from The Island.

I love the church fight in Kingsman. It is just entertaining. I also love the final battle of The Fellowship of the Ring, but nothing will ever compare to Dart Vader's rampage at the end of Rogue One. Flinging that guy to the ceiling & cutting him in half without looking. Darth Vader I'd the man. I do love Marvel, but Darth Vader is awesome like no other.
Top 5 for me: "The Lone Ranger's" train chase finale to William Tell Orchestra had me giddy. Rogue One finale, as noted (the entire final battle in Space & Land is absolutely incredible - Vader-Leia scene was perfect icing on the cake). Fellowship's entire Escape from Moria sequence beginning with the disturbing of the well to the Balrog. Pirates 3 finale in the Maelstrom. Sherlock Holmes 2 Moriarty chess finale is up there.
What about joker's bank heist? We deserve a second list.
The Ironman 2 scene with Tony and Rhoadey in their suits in the finale just blasting away drones with missles and lasers was peak badassery. Or possibly Infinity War with Rocket and the Winter Soldier teaming up to murder aliens! The MCU has been a great thing for badassey in cinema!
There’s no action involved but the scene where Viggo explains to his son who “that f’ing nobody” really is and the severity of the mistake he’s made has to be one of the most bad ass things ever.

I think these should have been on the list. Last battle in The Last Samurai (a real tear jerker), Final Chase in Apocalypto (that bee scene is genius), Ninja Assassin has some killer scenes, and lastly Rambo Last Blood (He rips someones heart out, Epic ending to an Epic saga). Pretty great list overall though.

I am mad!!!!!! Atomic blond is just perfect, and extremely real! Including exhaustion. Individuals cannot fight to the death very long. Adrenaline, ATP, o2…. It becomes a fight for your life, but looks very different from start to finish. This was perfection. And I am a bond fan.
