Jarrasic park and star wars is my favourite picks watchmojo 🔥
The Sandstorm chase,The portals open,Godzilla arrives to fight King Chidorah,Say Hello to my little friend and The T-Rex attack
Episode 3 Duel on Mustafar
Matt again ?? Where's Rebecca ?
Very nice 🌷👍🏼
Gendalf: "YOU SHALL NOT PASS..."
Is the most epic scene for me in LOTR.
if this list could include more than one entry per franchise or whatever it would be half LOTR lol
It's Gandalf FFS!
The top five should be LOTR.
Agreed. Yes the most epic line in the LOTR and the line "Fly, you fools!"
It's pretty epic but Gandalf is favourite character
The “Are you not entertained?!” scene from gladiator should have been on this
Agreed
Or the opening battle, i love that scene
@@iangauthier1594 on my signal, unleash hell .
Or simply the scene where he reveals who he is?!
@@chrisolive464 scene is too dope
“Spears shall be shaken...shields shall be splintered...a sword day...a red day...ERE THE SUN RISES”
The speech, the horns, the charge...greatest scene in cinema
Yeah, for epic *moments* Theoden's speech to the Rohirrim is the one for me. “Ride now, ride now, ride! Ride for ruin, and the world’s ending!”
DEATH!
DEATH!
DEATH!
FORTH EORLINGAS !!
DEAAATH!!
Dolts didn't even include that or lighting the beacons
And for this reason this video is trash and WM is not worth watching.
I'm surprised that there's so many 80's & 90's films on here. Most people would consider modern early 2000's-present.
I can see that... But the effects of the 80's and 90's were more difficult and awe inspiring than recent movies.
So many?
Right? The title says modern and then when he said it includes stuff from the 80s I was like what? 😂 That is 4 DECADES ago. They should’ve made a list specifically for 1980s-1990s films.
True...
@@russ9320 Eh, good point.
11 years and 22 movies led to Portals in Avengers Endgame. That is why it will always be one of my favorite movie moments of all time
yess
That is probably THE best movie moment EVER to me. Absolutely epic and every time I see it my heart is racing, I’m hyperventilating, I’m jumping up and down, I’m usually screaming...Seriously ever single time. And I’ve seen it like 10 times.
@@rubygracemoseley8144 no way is that the best movie scene ever
Caroline Rose I didn’t say it was. I said to ME personally it was. That doesn’t mean it is for everyone..duh
You've seen it like 10 times. I've seen it at least a million. I guarentee you there was this one week that I watched it every single day and at least twice a a day. That's 14 times in one week. Imagine the last 2 years.
“I am your Father” will forever be an iconic moment in Star Wars history.
You mean in history not just star wars history right?
@@lordderp6914 Yeah. It’s just a famous line. It’s overused.
@@GTAnativeInXboxAndPlayStation you're right can't deny its overused but credit where credit is due its still a good twist
Ahem. My line! You will not take it from me!
@@Rosadullaghan "you and your lust for power have seen to that!"
No Mel Gibson "FREEDOM" in Brave heart
No Liam Neeson "I will find you" in Taken
It’s epic moments not epic lines
Too many to be listed
They need to have epic music with them otherwise they aren't all that EPIC. Sure, they are great moments but pale in comparison to scenes with great scores.
Avengers Endgame: When Captain America stood alone against Thanos's entire Army when all hope seemed Lost. Every Single Hero from The MCU Shows Up for The Final Battle.
Except Quicksilver. 🙁
Only got choked up 2 Times in the MCU. Peter Quill holding the power stone looking at Gamora but seeing his mom saying take my hand, and the "on your left" from End Game
@@threesmallpeopleinabigtren5056 yeah that Peter Quill moment was powerful and underrated.
BVS should have been on here, bruh we waited so long for Batman and Superman together in the big screen but they fucked up, and whole damn DCEU
@Three small people In a big trench coat You didn't even choke up when Yondu died?
Who is this announcer? Towards the end, I think he was mispronouncing things on purpose.
He is hella annoying
Luke is now John
So glad it's not just me that picked up on this.
Like he was sarcastically giving the entries! Really did not enjoy this guys voice
@@i_thunk_not_8392 he said jaws
Darth Vader:Luke,I am your father.
Luke Skywalker:Then you owe me a third of the Imperial Treasury in Child Support!
The line is not “Luke, I am your father” it is “No, I am your father” 😂

Why did the voiceover guy sound so sarcastic
I think most voiceovers of Watchmojo sounds so sarcastic but I have no problem with that
in the real sense of the word, the actual EPIC scene in jurassic park is when they stand up in their jeep and for the first time see dinosaurs.
disagree as good as that is the Trex scenes are the best
100%, as the music swirls showing Sam Neil’s astonished face.
Holy fucking shot it’s a dinosaur
Richard Attenborough'S deliver of "Dr. Grant, my dear Dr. Statler. . . welcome, to Jurrasic Park." One of the best moments of filmmaking in the decade.
Agreed. That one scene, with John Williams music, could be the most perfectly scored segment of film in movie history. It's pretty much perfect.
Seeing the Harry Potter moment at the beginning...I appreciate how iconic the movie was...it pretty much did everything justice. That being said, in the book, he has a final moment of irony where he reveals the elder wand is loyal to him, the same way his wand persistently refuses to let him die. It makes that final moment where a bit of luck, the same thing that kept him alive in the first book, that much more impactful
Tbh the ending scene in PT.2 was so disappointing imo. In the books Voldemort fights Kingsley, McGonnagal and Slughorn at the same time then Harry and him square off and Harry literally tells him that’s he’s lost and he is the true wielder of the Elder Wand and he feels sorry for him. So much more impactful. And in the book it happens in the great hall in front of everyone! I thought it was lame that he killed him with no one watching in the courtyard lol. I will say overall was very happy with the movies but the ending was a bummer to me just my opinion tho 🤷🏻♂️
That scene in Endgame. No movie ever made me feel that way I don't think. Just beautiful. I couldn't control myself when the portals open and the dead came back to life. The tears flowed down my face as it happened. I didn't even have to think about it it just happened.
Edit:That rarely ever happens to me like that. It was amazing. Might have been the greatest movie experience I ever had and that's saying alot considering I wasn't all that big an MCU fan before that.
I was the same way.
I rewatch that part all the time. Cap on ur left.
I agree! None of the top three came even close to that, and I've seen all those movies many times.
the music is amazing as well
I went on opening night and the entire theater cheered when that scene happened.
Charge of RoHEErim, led by king THEEoden, leads the RoHAAN troops
Lmfao XD
How does he prononce "Minas"?
Meen-ass Teerith.
He evidently has a problem with those words that were spoken in dialogue several times in some of the most watched films of all time. Maybe find someone to narrate the countdown that actually is familiar with the top 5?
Oh thank god I was hoping someone committed on his pronouncements of proper nouns from these films.
It made me think watchmojo shouldn’t a top list of mispronunciations everyone said wrong until the films ..
Thor’s hammer
The place Wonder Woman lives
The three headed dog .
Thanos .
Everything lord of rings .
Etc
Sooo what’s the distinction between “bad ass” and “epic”? Cause there’s a lot of overlap between this list and that one
Just another excuse to make a video.
The title should be " Top 20 Most liked Hollywood movie moments according to us "
The entire ending of Rogue One should have been on here
Totally!
nah
Agree
I would agree but I cant because it's hard for me to even get to that point without falling asleep. Everything except for the ending sucks in my opinion, but yeah the end was really good. I probably wouldve enjoyed it more if the whole movie was as good as that.
This should have been broken down more. One for 80s and 90s and then one for 2000 on. Too many awesome moments left off because of this.
One scene from the MCU
One scene from Spiderman
One scene from the X-Men
Fair enough
The Portals Open was the most epic & groundbreaking fighting scene I have ever seen
Avengers Assemble
“ Say hello to my little friend “ is the most copied verse in film history.
Peter North said that to Jenna Jameson
@@johndaman6322 my man.
Fun Jurassic Park fact: the T-Rex was not supposed to break the top window of the car. That was an accident and so the children’s reactions were very real.
Narrator should never narrate anything else as long as he lives.
He sounds very weird trying to pronounce almost all names.
It felt like I was watching daytime infomercials lol
Kermit the frog
'The 8 Bit Guy' - RUclips him
It’s like when someone says crevice vs crevice
The Train scenes is one of the best and iconic moments ever of Spider-Man in the movie of Spider-Man 2 when we can see Spider-Man sacrifice to save all the people in the train
At this point you just knew something with Avengers Endgame was gonna be in a top 10/20 something to do with movies. 😂😂😂
It's just a modern classic, whether you like it or not. Stop crying.

The portals scene in Endgame is definitely my favorite 😍, the music, all the emotions flowing out, just perfect👌. It's even more emotional now that Chadwick has passed away. Wakanda Forever 🙅🏻
AVENGERS!!!!!.......... ASSEMBLE!!!! And thor gives a battle shout and the theme is playing and all the heroes charge into battle greatest movie moment of all time i get goosebumps errtime I see it even til this day
I've been watching MOJO for many years now, this narrator mispronounced so many places and names. Mynuth Tyrath from LOTR? Please stop.
Thank you for the feedback, we will deal with Matt Casino Royale style chair scene style....oh wait...HR says that isn't a thing...we'll talk it out!
The bank heist in The Dark Knight was great but nothing can top the interrogation scene.
Agreed
Always Star wars deserves a place in the Best lists
The fight scenes were good but honestly the newer movies sucked
@@JoeMama-mk3xf we're talking about star wars. There are no newer movies
ABSOLUTELY
All of Star Wars even the bad stuff are legendary.
You mean episodes 7-9? Funny I don’t remember those ever being created
I'm laughing so hard at this guys accent it's the most Canadian thing ever
Yesss... it was this was unbelievably satisfactory.
So your telling me you watched the entire video in 1 minute?
@@jollybee3432 No just skipped to each specific entry without listening to the explanation of their picks.
@@jollybee3432 so you're telling me that it puts a smile on your face?
So you're telling me I don't actually have to watch the video?

Seeing Anakin dragging himself and still cursing enraged is *so* reminiscent of the "Tis but a scratch!" from the Black Knight...
Watching 1917 was the most tense I have ever been whilst watching a movie. That "Battle Run" scene literally had me on the edge of my seat and shouting at the TV.
Anyone else just a little put off by how this guy pronounced Keanu's name
Wait? Only that annoys you? How about the weird intonation on almost half of what he says?
That was the first thing he said 'off' that caught my attention. Then they just kept coming.
Didn't know Kermit the frog was now doing narration.
The way i watch saving private Ryan is so so so much more different sense i became a combat veteran. The opening scene used to excite and scare me. Now it fills me with a surprising amount of dread and terror. I cant breathe and i start to shake uncontrollably. I have to stop myself from crying. Life is wild.
Seeing the matrix when it first came out at the cinema was jaw dropping epic
"Say hello to my little friend!" Should have made the list and not been an honorable mention.
This guy just has a strange pronounciation of words
The T-Rex scene was such a game-changer at the time it's hard to overstate - I think that scene alone got people back into theaters a few times for Jurassic Park.
I think welcome to jurassic park is much more impactful and emotional
So does this guy go out of his way to mispronounce names? That and his delivery of all his lines are just off in general.
glad im not the only one that was put off by that lol
Your not alone. It was really irking me
👏👏 Some had to say.......his voice was pretty annoying too IMO
Star Wars AND Lord Of The Rings on this video twice? Nerds be praised!
Hell yeah!
I'm no fan of Star Wars but "I am your father" deserved to be on top of the list. I'm glad LOTR made it at no2 though.
And how do you know that
@@jimbo9208 Know what?
Logan is the perfect ending to the X-Men saga
Why is this guy pronouncing all of the Lord of the Rings places and names funny?
Because Lord Of The Rings is gay.
@@davidanderson7643 Yo mama gay
This List Sure Delivers on One Thing: It's Epic.
Fuck no it isn't when they didn't even have the bank heist shoot out from Heat as an Honorable Mention!
Number 21: Miles Morales' leap of faith from Into The Spider-Verse.
Number 20 was all I needed to see. You have my like.
Neville is the true hero of Harry Potter
Eagles are the true heroes of LOTR
A rat is the true hero of the MCU
Respect to the unsung heroes of these franchises
Sam or Aragorn...
Them fools should have flown
Don't you mean RATVENGER?
Fun fact: a friend of mine's PhD thesis is what made the "slow bullet" effect in The Matrix possible. It led to his career in visual effects.
The Omaha Beach landing in "Saving Private Ryan" will forever be my favorite movie moment, with the "slow knife kill" being one of the strongest and saddest.
Avengers Endgame was worth the wait. It was epic, funny, exciting, climatic, satisfying and emotional all at the same time. The perfect finale to our favourite classic Marvel heroes and now welcoming new ones.
I'm glad there is just one MCU movie in this list instead of 10
Agreed
Logan >>>>>>>> Endgame
@@DJGamingSmash definitely
I agree with this list.
The most epic thing in this video is his outstanding way he mispronounces most of the names.
I love Empire Strikes Back, it's in my top 5 films ever made, and as great as the "I am your father" scene is, are we really considering a 41 year old film modern?
Yup
The Portals open is the best and incredible moment ever of Avengers:Endgame when we can see Captain America seeing all the portals of Doctor Strange and other wizards to fight against the army of Thanos
You need coman sences marvel sucks and dc beats ass
Just like im doing to you so simp on that boiiii
@@batman284 Oh My God A Child FanBoy
The Battle on Mustafar needs to be higher on this list… it was a pure masterpiece
This is a pretty damn good list! Every person would put a few different scenes on the list but all these were pretty epic moments
Finally! Now lets do the most epic music. Like Rise of the Valkyries, Two Steps from hell, and 300 violin orchestra lol
I still feel that the Docking Scene from Interstellar should have been in the top 10.
Honestly...not bad this time Mojo, nice blend.
I have never in my life experience such a strong lasting all body goosebumps in that Avengers Endgame final war moment. It's #1 for me personally
Awsome that was Nice one🤙🏼😇

Cool Video My Friend!
12:38 didn't realize that Doc Oc was also in Raiders of the Lost Ark
can't wait til he returns in the new Spider Man film
Helms Deep to this day is my favorite battle scene
Loved it!
This might just me, but I've always been a sucker for monster movies, and one of my all-time favorites was Pacific Rim. I was a little bit heartbroken when not even one of the (very epic) scenes made it to the list, but on the other hand, I can totally understand why the movies on this list are there. Great vid, and keep up the good work!
Marvel be like:
“Doctor Octopus will return in Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness”
Honestly even tho she's in WandaVison I'd love to see Kathryn Hahn play live action Doc Ock
80s is modern? What’s that make the 90s?
*I was born in the 80s I don’t feel modern.
When cinema is a century of time, the 80s is relatively modern
well your modern over something else in the past so
Your view of history seems painfully limited
It's modern because there are a lot of us who are still here (Generation X baby!) who seen a lot of these scenes back in the day when these movies first came to theaters there for modern
A famous scene from 'Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back'
👏👏👏👏👏👏
I still get chills watching the battle of helms deep, SO GOOD
Godzilla arrives to fight King Chidorah is one of the coolest and awesome moments ever of Godzilla:King of the monsters when we can see Godzilla fighting against King Chidorah in the final battle
It's way better then The Halo jump from the 1st movie. Plus you see more Kaiju action!
It sounds like he is purposely mispronouncing the names and such for Lord of the Rings.
The T2 chase scene still sticks with me. When the T-1000 was chasing John in the parking garage made running scary somehow. Excellent.
The shining, 1917, Spider-Man 2, Star Wars, kill bill, back to the future, inception, saving private Ryan ( intense and so real), pulp fiction, Jurassic park, the dark night, the matrix, 300 and Scarface are mine favs
The way he says many Lord of the Rings names and terms are really cringe
VERY cringe.
Is this guy new?
I couldn’t make it pass the Canadian-Barney voice and mispronunciations
Hell fraking Yeah!!!!!
I MOST ABSOLUTELY fraking loved and TRULY enjoyed watching this one right here!!!!!
The Portal Scene from Avengers:Endgame is MOST DEFINITELY one of my MOST ABSOLUTE favorites......
One of the best movie lists created! EVER!!!
well, eversince we saw fred astaire dancing around the room´s ceiling and walls in ROYAL WEDDING (1951), our brains have actually been prepared pretty good for the "same" scene in inception. therefore, the folding buildings were a lot more impressive.
Great video. Lively and fun narration!!
"That still only count as one" is the best line for me
The Portals Open 18:11 that's a scene that I'll always remember to this day
Logan' death was more saddening than ironman's death........... For me that is.
I agree iron man wasn’t even sad it was obvious he was gonna die but no one expected Logan to die
And Jack Nicholson had to explain what he was referencing to Kubrick, who had not been in the U.S. when Johnny Carson took over on the"Tonight Show"!
Great video
Need a few more honorable mentions. The battle of Beruna in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, The Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, the final battle in Independence Day and finally THe Glory Regiment's attack against Fort Wagner in Glory.
It physically hurts me when i dont hear the avengers theme song after cap says assemble
Can something that's 41 years old really be considered a modern moment? Especially because moments from 43 years ago have been put down as classic moments
What a great list!
20 is not enough but I appreciate you knowing what's epic
