  • There's no denying that there's a certain thrill about going to the movies. Every movie genre has its way of blowing the audience's minds. Action movies excite us by death-defying action sequences and stunts, while horror movies do the same by incorporating shocks, chills, terror, and horrifying creatures.
But nothing blows minds better than a great movie plot twist. It has happened in every movie genre, and the more elusive a plot twist reveal, the better the movie-going experience is for the audience.
There have been some fantastic plot twists in cinema history, so here is our list of the greatest movie plot twists of all time.

The craziest twist about that movie is not only that it’s twist ending is not even in the novel it was based on, but also that the ending in the novel is even weirder than the ending in the movie. The Book of Eli was one of the worst plot twists ever! Do you know how huge a real Bible would be in Braille? Multiple volumes!! That is just one MAJOR plot hole. Plus, there is no way the character was convincing as someone who is blind, even if they are "allegedly tasked with a journey under God's protection". To me, it was awful!! However, I can see the appeal to some. Underrated? No. Plot twist? No...I could see it coming and it was terrible! However, that is my opinion and I respect others' taste in movies.

My favorite plot twist was this video, just how the hell do you not include classics like "The Usual Suspects", or "Se7en", or "Fight Club", or "Memento", I could just go on and on. THIS I was not expecting. Bravo, best unexpected ending ever!

Primal fear was all about convincing the watcher that the killer was not Aaron and then he wasn't sane and at the end you belive it being that they won the court case and roy snapped. The reveal could be been easily prevented but nevertheless a great twist

Interesting video. I honestly had to stop it 1/3 of the way in because I want to watch (in some cases rewatch) them so that I can pick up on the twist myself before finishing this video. Thanks, Looper for adding the list of films in the description.

The heaviests and well crafted twists for me was Shutter Island and Enemy. Damn I lost the count of how many times I have watched these masterpieces. I was blown away by these two. Mindf*cks
