I remember watching Solo in theaters, and when the scene came where they showed Maul, there was like a collective gasp in the auditorium. All I thought was "Ok clearly lots of people here never watched The Clone Wars" lol
Was shock as well. By far the best part of that whole movie. Most of us were too old for the cartoons. And nothing really grab regular viewers to watch it when it was out. Either diehard fans only knew or kids in that era who watch it..
@@maxx6526 I myself was a teenager when the Clone Wars series first premiered, and I was recently just rewatching the series a couple of months back, but man that series basically paved the way for all the current Star Wars shows that Disney is doing now.
Maul's story was an unexpected masterpiece. The Clone Wars series turned Maul from an intriguing side character with 2 lines into one of the greatest characters in the Star Wars universe.
I think that credit actually goes to Rebels with his final demise and making peace with Obiwan. It's like Thanos getting his real redemption in the original Infinity Saga Books 👍
The strongest hint that Leia had the ability to become a Jedi from the original sequel was when Luke departs Degobah and Obi Wan said Luke was their last hope, Yoda Replied “No, there is another” insinuating that if Luke Failed Leia would be the one to take up the Jedi mantle and save the galaxy
Vader flat out states it in RotJ, “Your feelings have now betrayed her, too. Obi-Wan was wise to hide her from me. Now his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the Dark Side… then perhaps she will…”
While I understand why people think Leia could have been the one to do that, I think if she had been the one to confront Vader and Palpatine she would have fallen to the dark side. Unlike Luke on Tatooine, Leia lived with the Empire and through Bail knew what atrocities many of its leaders, Vader included, caused. She hates the Empire, she hates Vader, and if Luke, who had been far removed from the goings on of the galaxy for most of his life, nearly fell to anger in the throne room Leia almost definitely would. In the end it was the Luke's love for his father that brought him back to the light side and Leia would not have that.
There’s a theory that Han killed himself by igniting the lightsaber to protect his son from crossing the point of no return to the dark side. Allowing him to find redemption eventually.
When I first heard that Darth Maul survived from being cut in two, I didn't think I could accept it then I watched SWTCW and was greatful for Maul's return.

There is actual proof in Legends that Leia was a huge part of the new Jedi Order under Luke, not just a huge part but a Jedi Master while Luke was Grand Master 👍 and they actually explained in Rise of Skywalker as they did in Legends, direct clones cannot be Force sensitive but they natural offsprings can. So if you want to get real technical about it, Rey is actually Sheev Palpatine's daughter. With the longer that Mando and Book run on Disney+, we will probably learn that's why the Empire/First Order wanted Grogu as well, experiments with his blood and cloning 👍
@@dverarde84 Yes, but in Rise of Palpatine (not calling it Skywalker), they explained that Leia's training was short lived, meaning she probably never became a full-fledged Jedi, and instead focused on being a senator as the new canon explained. Actually, direct clones can be force-sensitive, because we have both Snoke and a revived Palpatine, plus in Legends we had Luuke from Thrawn Trilogy, Starkiller in Force Unleashed 2, and the clone-trooper lead character of the cancelled Battlefront 3 Classic.
ALSO, half these fan theories were probably better than what writers planned so the writers just went with it. Except filoni. Filoni is never wrong. Hes one of us.
Wait I’m confused about the theory for Ashoka being alive after the S2 duel in rebels. In the next episode it literally shows her walking into a tomb and him walking through rubble. We knew she was alive..
World between Worlds. And we know she survives because of the ending of Rebels. 🤷 So I am kind of there with you just way ahead of you. They shouldn't have used that one. Anakin's dad, Darth Jar Jar, or Palps created the Force sensitive bloodline of the Skywalkers 🤷
It wasn't theory we fans watch all the star wars we watched and some not that famous series Example I have play a star wars game (fallout style) in 2004 I discover the double lightsaber that was detached to 2 My fellow Classmates did believe me because I didn't remember how I did it but I show them screenshots
My favorite confirmed theory is that Boba Fett lives. He is my favorite bounty hunter. And now he is a crime lord, a protector and hero. We need more Boba Fett.
I have a video I think you should try: top 10 Star Wars leaders who actually care about their people, (and I'd recommend you use characters from The Clone Wars series, as we get a lot of good examples there.)
Hm. Watching this back reminded me that Han called out Luke's decision in Ep VII... I don't feel like I recall the fanbase having an issue with it then, which is interesting seeing as that seems to have become the major point of contention about VIII nowadays (obviously, there are a ton more). Maybe the "handling" of it is why there was such a backlash? But it's not like Han made it seem like Luke was hopeful, he said he blamed himself and cut himself off, so it all lines up. Just interesting to me.
What was said in number 9 just because your parents and/or ancester are not jedi doesn't mean one can be a jedi like anakin, ahsoka, ezra, and many more
Qui gon coming back was rooted in the fact how he died in tpm. When yoda confirms our theory in ROTS…we didnt feel great? We were hoping something better was written or in store. At the very least, they tied up the storyline
See thing is, a lot of these "theories" were actually canon up until Disney bought out Lucasfilm. What they call the "Legends Continuity" was originally the Expanded Universe (EU) and continued the stories of the main characters past the end of the movies. The whole "Evil Solo Child" bit was lifted from the Expanded Universe where Han and Leia had three children; Jacen and Jaina (the twins) and younger son Anakin (named for Luke and Leia's father). In the EU, Jacen Solo is turned to the dark side (taking the name Darth Caedus) and ends up murdering Luke's wife Mara Jade (a former Sith Assassin) before coming back to the light in midst of a final duel with his twin. He never killed his father, though I understand why Ford wanted his character killed off. Still think he should have gone out in a blaze of glory, would have been more fitting. Luke also successfully revived the Jedi Order in EU. 10) Given that Ep III was released during the Lucasfilm era in 2005, this point is most likely EU canon. But as far as I recall was never explored in the EU. (LIKELY EU CANON, BUT UNCLEAR) 9) Rey never existed in EU. Palpatine's plot to return via her is a HEAVILY modified version of his rebirth via cloning process. There was never any massive Sith Fleet. (PARTIAL EU CANON) 8) Ashoka was introduced in 2014 after Disney bought out Lucasfilm in 2012, she is never seen or mentioned in the EU (NOT EU CANON) 7) As stated above, Han was not killed by any of his children in the EU, this plot point was created by Disney at Ford's request (NOT EU CANON) 6) This is a point of contention, as Maul is from the Lucasfilm era but the novel chronicling his entire life from childhood to his death is copyrighted 2012 which is the year Disney bought out Lucas. Could go either way. (POSSIBLY EU CANON) 5) Most of EU is chronologically post Ep VI so its highly unlikely the details of how the Death Star plans were acquired was ever novelized. (UNCLEAR) 4) The concept is definitely a part of EU. Leia's Force sensitivity is mentioned fairly often and she trained with and even carried her own lightsaber while she was active in New Republic politics. Though she rarely had reason to use it as at least one of her children were typically her bodyguard during that time. (CONCEPTUALLY EU CANON) 3) Another concept taken from EU. Luke was sentenced to ten years in exile following the events surrounding his nephew Jacen's (then Darth Caedus) actions as a sith lord. During the imposed exile, he and his son, Ben (named for Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi), sought to learn the truth behind Jacen's turn to the dark side. (CONCEPTUALLY EU CANON) 2) Yet another EU concept. In fact, Fett escapes the Sarlacc a total of 4 times in the EU. His first (Return of the Jedi) is chronicled in the book "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" (LUCASFILM CANON) 1) Ties back to #5. The details behind obtaining the DS plans were likely never novelized before Disney took over. (UNCLEAR)
I don’t understand the stuff with Ahsoka, they literally show her walking away from the temple at the end of the S2 finale. What’s with the mystery if she was still alive? They show her still alive, but injured. Guess not many fully watched the episode when it came out lmao Also with Leia and her powers, during the scene when Luke is asking about her mother she remembers feelings, but not memories. This is also possibly a force ability known as Psychometry that gives you information from an object you touch. If she had any of Padme’s belongings, it could explain how she “remembered” her mother. Quinlan Vos and Cal Kestis also have the same power.
They show Ezra pulling Ahsoka into the World between Worlds, them having an actual real conversation about how this impacts everything and they can do that, her going back to finish the encounter with Vader. Don't forget that she shows up at the very end of Rebels in the white cloak and white staff ready to go with Sabine to look for Ezra after the hyper jump with Thrawn. 🤦 It's like we all watched a different series. 🤦
"But it wasn't until The Last Jedi that we got confirmation about her abilities" OK, clearly none of you at Watch Mojo ever read any of the books published before Disney bought the rights to Star Wars
@@MediaLoverChris02 They only became non-cannon after Disney gots the rights and made it's own storyline. But Leia being Force sensitive as well as Boba Fett being alive aren't as surprising if you read all the novels.
You missed the theory of Mace Windu lives. Snoke is Mace Windu. Snoke trained Ben Solo and Ben used Mace Windu's star saber swing when fighting Rey. He also sensed the force awakening in a JEDI which shows Snoke has masted the Light side as well as the dark. Also the lightning has never killed anyone and the thunder scared what's his name's face, not killed him. So that explains snokes weird face. Also snokes wrist has a scar, Master out the god damm windu got his hand chopped off so, force regeneration which is unlocked by mastering the dark and light side. Now you know something else🎉
Honestly anybody who ever thought Leia *wasn't* strong in the Force is an idiot. She showed her ability in the Legends canon for decades, they said multiple times in the Original Trilogy that she was as strong as her brother, it wouldn't have even made sense if she didn't have the same power as Luke, and her son also uses it. The fact that that was ever a "theory" in debate is absurd.
One theory that still duels is about Mace Windu, how can an all powerful master jedi didn't survive a fall? It's still something that it hasn't been explored...
In the game they show the origins of maul where his people where original sorcerers now they can weild the stones as a power maul just happen to pickup the light saber
Honestly although I love ahsoka's appearance in Mandalorian and I'm sure her show will be awesome, it would have been a much more fitting death for her to die by Vader's hand. It doesn't make sense that she said she wasn't going to leave him this time and then she left him that time. It's just another person that Vader failed to kill
I never felt that the Death Star weakness needed an explanation. It’s a 2 meter wide opening on something the size of a moon, it was well defended, and it required stealing the blueprints for the station to even learn about. It took literal devine intervention to successfully exploit. It’s not the gaping flaw that some people make it out to be.
I don't disagree that the entrance was well-defended, but the exhaust port is still a completely straight, uninterrupted, like two-mile long straight shot into the most vulnerable part of the base. When put into those terms, doesn't it seem more like an intentional weakness than an accidental design flaw?
@@rokeYouuer I just assumed that there must be a technical reason for it. Like, if it's venting something from the station's core, it would need to lead outside. It's also mentioned that it is ray shielded, which is why it required a perfectly aimed proton torpedo shot, so it was covered to the extent that it could be. The more baffling thing to me has always been, why was there a shaft all the way down to the station's reactor in the middle of the Emperor's throne room on the second Death Star?
I NEVER understood the Ahsoka was dead idea, it LITERALLY shows her walk away, the REAL mystery is did Ahsoka help Maul after his fall and what happened to that Ahsoka cause the one we see later in season 4 is from a different timeline, because the Ahsoka that walked away Never had to walk away, so if she did help Maul then Maul is a paradox.... which he kind of already is, the man just dont die.. cut him in half and drop him down a large vent, or ttrip him from a large tower on a higher floor than needed to kill an inquisitor..... Maul is a BadAss, 1 of 2 that survived a lightsaber battle with (Undefeated) Darth Sidius (only Yoda and Maul has went Sabers with Sidius and lived to tell people how they got their ass whipped) Maybe if The Emperor wasnt so lazy at the end he wouldnt had needed a clone, should had just kept those damn lightsabers at the hip
I knew from the start ahsoka survived, and Dave filoni even confirms that ahsoka is even alive in the rise of skywalker as well I just hope my theory of how kanan could survive the explosion will become true in the future
Dave actually confirmed that the voices were all Jedi that transcended into the Force and Ahsoka and Kanan and I think even Ezra were all voices which means they didn't make it 👍 so you almost got it
@@dverarde84 trust me, when rise of skywalker came out Dave filoni confirmed that ahsoka was still alive and there was supposed to be a scene where Ezra was leading a rebel group in attacking some stormtroopers in the final battle
Ok, the flaw for the first Death Star makes sense, but WHY is there a tunnel leading to the core of the Second Death Star? I know it was incomplete but the tunnel didn't exactly need to be there
What about Starkiller assisting Anakin using the Force to land a star destroyer that was cut in half, with him and Palpatine, r2, and Obi inside?? (Episode 3:ROTS, Force Unleashed)
Everybody needs to realize because George Lucas himself even confirmed on this there is no episode 7, 8 and 9 they are not cannon therefore anything that happened in those movies does not exist
Harrison Ford should show a little more gratitude for Han Solo because if it wasn’t for him, he would have never been Indiana Jones. Han Solo launched him into stardom.
This wasn’t confirmed, but I have a theory that Han activated Kylo/Ben’s light saber. He knew he might not be able to do it, but also that Snoke would kill him if he didn’t. So he took the pressure off. That’s why Kylo says thank you.
I had come to that theory as well, he wasn't wasn't able to blow the ship that Leia was in, and kind of look shocked when her ship did get blown up by the the other fighters.
Him controlling Tatooine is a good thing, especially since he was going for fair business and was an anti-hero. I just wonder if he was still in power when Rey came to Tatooine 🤔
Isn’t it mad how Darth Maul has the high ground and gets slaughtered by Obi one in episode 1 but in episode 3 Anakain tries the same trick and Obi one sees straight through it.

With boba even before the show in legends you fight him in Jedi academy which takes place after the movies
Qui-Gon Jinn appearing at the end of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series effectively reckons the Yoda episodes in Star Wars The Clone Wars season 6.
Reckons the 3 episodes on Mortis with The Ones. But what do I know 🤷
You should have included the theory of Darth Jarjar! It hasn’t been released but we all know it’s true.
@@dverarde84 I think you saw Ahsoka how she came out of the Temple in the same episode.
yeah ze went into the portal and was back in the sith temple
It wasn't theory we fans watch all the star wars we watched and some not that famous series
Example I have play a star wars game (fallout style) in 2004 I discover the double lightsaber that was detached to 2
My fellow Classmates did believe me because I didn't remember how I did it but I show them screenshots
What????
My favorite confirmed theory is that Boba Fett lives. He is my favorite bounty hunter. And now he is a crime lord, a protector and hero. We need more Boba Fett.
Yeah except for he turned into a gay little screw off
ITS THE GUY FROM FORTNITE :-P
Boring character with no redeeming qualities
8:15 everyone that knows even the tiniest bit about Star Wars and Legends knows that Leia is Force sensitive.
At 6:12 we’ll never see anything like that again. It’s become so sanitized
Padme was Force Sensitive.
I have a video I think you should try: top 10 Star Wars leaders who actually care about their people, (and I'd recommend you use characters from The Clone Wars series, as we get a lot of good examples there.)
Holy shit I started watching Star Wars 11 hours ago. Made it thru ep 1-3 I love it so far
damn thats late haha
I love how Patton Oswalts description is canon
Anyone who is familiar with the old Legends continuity could have told you Leia could use the Force
Lol
I remember fighting boba fett in jedi academy which is a legends era star wars game.
What was said in number 9 just because your parents and/or ancester are not jedi doesn't mean one can be a jedi like anakin, ahsoka, ezra, and many more
4:00 You literally can see her walking away from the debris just after it explodes. Why did everyone think she died?
it mind fucked me too first time but in the fourth season everything is explained
@7:42 Vader would be vivacious? 🤣 . I think the script says vicious, dude.
(LIKELY EU CANON, BUT UNCLEAR)
9) Rey never existed in EU. Palpatine's plot to return via her is a HEAVILY modified version of his rebirth via cloning process. There was never any massive Sith Fleet. (PARTIAL EU CANON)
8) Ashoka was introduced in 2014 after Disney bought out Lucasfilm in 2012, she is never seen or mentioned in the EU (NOT EU CANON)
7) As stated above, Han was not killed by any of his children in the EU, this plot point was created by Disney at Ford's request (NOT EU CANON)
6) This is a point of contention, as Maul is from the Lucasfilm era but the novel chronicling his entire life from childhood to his death is copyrighted 2012 which is the year Disney bought out Lucas. Could go either way. (POSSIBLY EU CANON)
5) Most of EU is chronologically post Ep VI so its highly unlikely the details of how the Death Star plans were acquired was ever novelized. (UNCLEAR)
4) The concept is definitely a part of EU. Leia's Force sensitivity is mentioned fairly often and she trained with and even carried her own lightsaber while she was active in New Republic politics. Though she rarely had reason to use it as at least one of her children were typically her bodyguard during that time. (CONCEPTUALLY EU CANON)
3) Another concept taken from EU. (CONCEPTUALLY EU CANON)
2) Yet another EU concept. In fact, Fett escapes the Sarlacc a total of 4 times in the EU. His first (Return of the Jedi) is chronicled in the book "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" (LUCASFILM CANON)
1) Ties back to #5. The details behind obtaining the DS plans were likely never novelized before Disney took over. (UNCLEAR)
Kyi-gon Jin was one of my favourite character
Qui-Gon
I love the Clone Wars Obi-Wan comment that next he will aim higher.
Ok now I’m waiting for mace Windu to be alive
I was so happy when I found out fett survived
Liam Neeson is great but we should have had Danny Trejo, playing Qui gon Tequila.
Or Snoop Dogg as Qui-Gon Juice. That way, they can be Jinn and Juice and laaaaaid back.
Nah, people, Liam Neeson is perfect for the role just the way he is.
Princess Leia use the force all the time in the old Canon, but not as much as her kids or brother
I don’t understand the stuff with Ahsoka, they literally show her walking away from the temple at the end of the S2 finale. What’s with the mystery if she was still alive? They show her still alive, but injured. Guess not many fully watched the episode when it came out lmao
Also with Leia and her powers, during the scene when Luke is asking about her mother she remembers feelings, but not memories.
Star Wars fans wanted Rey to be a Skywalker. Disney refused to listen and fans were upset. Disney will hopefully make up for it one day.
Ahsoka's survival wasn't a fan theory. It was obvious that she'd survive. The fanbase whould've hated Disney for killing her off.
Favourite Star Wars movies (best to worst)
3,6,5,4,1,7,2,Rogue One,CloneWars.
Refuse to see: 8,9,Solo
rogue one is the only new movie I accept bro
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! It was cool to see Darth Maul still alive..!! 🤣
can you make a top ten or a top twenty disturbing Star Wars fan theory’s that people believe are true.
Long before Disney bought star wars and made book of Boba, it was cannon that fett survived the pit. Its in the books
Nobody reads the books for a reason.
I'm pretty sure that the "Kathleen Kennedy is a Sith Lord" deserved to be mentioned. She really is.
Darth maul was my favorite star wars character
Princess Leia was a force user in the books way before the sequel trilogy....
that was hinted from ep 5
3:16 Luke did I ever tell you about Ashoka tano?… She was your fathers…
Hello from the Dark-side!!!!!!!!
"But it wasn't until The Last Jedi that we got confirmation about her abilities" OK, clearly none of you at Watch Mojo ever read any of the books published before Disney bought the rights to Star Wars
Not canon
@@MediaLoverChris02 They only became non-cannon after Disney gots the rights and made it's own storyline. But Leia being Force sensitive as well as Boba Fett being alive aren't as surprising if you read all the novels.
@@miss_xandra_mars Why the fuck would I read all the novels? It’s not like I was a Star Wars fan before Disney.
"There was even a common theory that Rey was connected to the skywalker lineage"
The common theory was that she was a Kenobi, not a Skywalker
I hope the theory about the sequel trilogy being non canon is later proved to be true.
It's a spineless and quite pathetic theory to be sure. If you don't like it, just ignore it like a fucking adult.
The one time I’d be ok with an “It was all a dream” twist.
I hope the Prequels become non canon
dude NEVER HAPPENNING get over it, there are references to the sequels in so many novels, comics among others , its never going to happen
@@MediaLoverChris02 NEVER HAPPENING EITHER
One theory that still duels is about Mace Windu, how can an all powerful master jedi didn't survive a fall? It's still something that it hasn't been explored...
Vivacious: A vivacious person, especially a woman or girl, is attractively energetic and enthusiastic.
Yup, that perfectly sums up Vader
The Clone Wars also featured Qui-Gon Jinn’s ghost
When I saw the scene of Rey being a Palpatine, I jumped out my scene and yelled, I FREAKING CALLED IT.
Qui Gon was also in clone wars its not like it was a mystery he could appear in kenobi
Her saying I am no jedi. Gave me chills.
I honestly wish Harrison Ford didn’t dislike Star Wars so much.
Well, she was pulled through a portal 😂
10:20 Boba Fett also lives in "The book of Boba Fett"
no way bro
Those of us who read Tales from Jabba's Palace back in the day knew about Boba's escape. 😏
Im surprised that obi wan didn't say hello
5:57 31 words?! I thought he said like two!
Rogue One was my favorite Star Wars movie
I knew from the start ahsoka survived, and Dave filoni even confirms that ahsoka is even alive in the rise of skywalker as well
I just hope my theory of how kanan could survive the explosion will become true in the future
Ashoka was heard as a force ghost in the final battle between Rey, Ben and Grandpa Palps
@@ItsFireTiger that doesn’t mean ahsoka is dead, the force works in many different ways full of surprises
yeah, somehow even palpatine returned! it works in mysterious ways…
The palpatine ending for rey was so dumb and same with palpatine somehow surviving it just never added up
Ok, the flaw for the first Death Star makes sense, but WHY is there a tunnel leading to the core of the Second Death Star? I know it was incomplete but the tunnel didn't exactly need to be there
What about Starkiller assisting Anakin using the Force to land a star destroyer that was cut in half, with him and Palpatine, r2, and Obi inside?? (Episode 3:ROTS, Force Unleashed)
Everybody needs to realize because George Lucas himself even confirmed on this there is no episode 7, 8 and 9 they are not cannon therefore anything that happened in those movies does not exist
That's "scruffy-looking nerf herder!"
What about the theory that Rex is that old guy on endor
Harrison Ford should show a little more gratitude for Han Solo because if it wasn’t for him, he would have never been Indiana Jones. Han Solo launched him into stardom.
I knew Maul was alive ever since Episode 1 came out. I literally called it
🤨 idk what would give you the idea since Rebels hadn't come out yet at the time
This wasn’t confirmed, but I have a theory that Han activated Kylo/Ben’s light saber.
SEQUELS DONT EXIST
Considering what the Fans got when Boba Fett returned, he would probably have been better off being slowly digested over 1000 years.
Him controlling Tatooine is a good thing, especially since he was going for fair business and was an anti-hero. I just wonder if he was still in power when Rey came to Tatooine 🤔
Im still waiting for the confirmation of Darth Jar
Isn’t it mad how Darth Maul has the high ground and gets slaughtered by Obi one in episode 1 but in episode 3 Anakain tries the same trick and Obi one sees straight through it.
Those are the wrong episodes, it's 1 and 3.
@@Deimos_PeanutFlavour Yes you are correct my mistake!
All of these might technically have been theories, but come on, Vader appearing in Rogue One was pretty expected
Conformation of Leia's force abilities didn't come until the Disney movies? Bro there's literally novels about it made before Disney even thought.
I knew about 10 maybe 6 partially, 4 put me off the execution of it and knew about number 2.
