My 1st 45 acp 1911 was full size Llama loved it
My brother had a few Llamas in the 80s or 90s. I think, they were all stainless steel.
Great Video. I have one of these I bought about 20 years ago and I love it!!
The trigger on mine isn't great but like new, I think mine wasn't shot or carried ever. The barrel didn't have a smile on top. Grips had zero wear. I would like for a gunsmith to reduce the trigger to 3lbs.
@@WheeledandWellArmed I picked mine up at a gun show aroud 2003 for $190. It had been used a lot. It's still in great shape but the bluing on the front of the grip under the trigger guard is wearing off. I don't shoot mine very often, probably less than 500 rounds through it since I bought it but it's fun to shoot.
@@WheeledandWellArmed dude that is easy and cheap to do, 1911 triggers are easy to mess with
Pretty good shootin with the heavy trigger
Off hand left shooting because my left trigger finger can pull up to 12lbs. My right hand is a great measuring device, my right finger cut off is 3.5lbs. Some days my left is better than my right, even with lighter triggers. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Good video Sir. I am a bit torn, as I love the 1911 but between my budget and my great experience with polymer pistols, it seems my G30s is going to stay on my hip. Enjoy your Llama in good health.
I carry on my wheelchair, size and weight isn't really an issue for me. The G30 is a very safe option. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Nice shooting ! 👍
A longggg time ago I almost bought a full size nickel plated one for $400. but everyone said they where junk and I knew nothing about 45acp so I got Haskell instead , nowadays known as the Hi-Point for $138. I still regret not buying it.
I think the Quality Assurance in Llama was 25% bad and 75% good. Maybe better, QA ussues are alway overblown. If you can get one for under $400 and a little luck, you will have a good one.
@@WheeledandWellArmed yes mine was a good pistol
Love your collection man.
Great taste
Glad you enjoyed. I only have the 45acp.
nice
Thanks King Pin
Translated by Google.
Would be a good fishing chest rig pistol while fishing or hunting; Florida in case you’re wondering, lol.
Probably sell it to someone who likes a very heavy trigger pull as an extra safety.
@@WheeledandWellArmedI’d be interested….
Could you do a video on the minimax .40? I cannot find a damn thing on the internet regarding this pistol. I just want someone else’s opinion that i can trust.
I personally have reevaluated my Llama minimax as a do not buy. Unless you like a heavy trigger that gunsmith does not want to work on. On further questioning, this is because Llama pistols parts vary from not only year to year but month to month. Most every Llama is hand fitted. One said if you had 10 same model Llamas, you might have one pair that is a near perfect match and another pair that would be close but not quite perfect. However, my one gunsmith acts like he speaks for all gunsmiths.
He hates Para Ordnance too but helps me when needed. Para makes a 40S&W.
One the good side. Both the Bul M5 45acp magazines fits and the new Bul 45acp also magazines fit. But both are longer. I'm 90% sure if Bul makes a 40S&W, they would be compatible.
I really appreciate the feedback! Ill definitely keep this in mind!!
La tengo en Mexico y es hermosa tengo 2 cargadores extra de llama full size y son compatibles
That's the great thing about short pistols: they can always use big brothers' full-size magazines. The details are impressive, mine looks like it is in mint condition. Thanks for commenting.
@@WheeledandWellArmedso can I use a full size llama .40 mag with the minimax? Do you know of any other interchangeable mags for the minimax.40?
Fi di g out your purpose in mtech is good.just adjust in travel around to see which Abbott fits.

Interesting, but I think I'll stick to my S&W CSX.
Good solid choice, im waiting on a Pro shop version with 3lbs trigger. You will be surprised at my first striker fire in a long time. Im testing it now.
i have one,year 1999 like new...need mags
I tried all my doublestack 45s
Sarsilmaz, no
Staccato, no
IWI JERICHO, no
Tanfoglio, no
CZ, no
ASAI, no
Kimber Ultra Ten, yes
Bul Armory, yes
If you can find the ultra ten or short Bul M5 that would be perfect but anything made by Bul will fit. BTW the Kimber was made by Bul.
I tried the following double stack 45acp i have:
STI no
Staccato no same
CZ no
Tanfoglio no
IWI Jericho no
ASAI no
Sarsilmaz no
Bul Armory yes but long
Kimber Ultra Ten yes perfect
Bul M5 10 yes perfect
Bul Armory made these Kimber 45 double stack back in the day, rebranded M5.
@@WheeledandWellArmed thanks

Thanks for watching
I want 40sw
That must be a rare bird, but at 32oz it would be a tamed bird. I'm down from four 40sw to my CZ40P. My gun club has 1000rds for 412 including tax. I need 40sw but a bit too much for one CZ40P that i might sell.
I have a .40 llama minimax s&w if you want it
@@bigtalk7456what did you want for it? I’ll take it. I can give you my ffl info.
@@tatesmobilewashandinstalla7025 I still have her , still shoots like butter , I'll take 375$ for it , I'll pay shipping
I had a max 1 i liked wish i had kept it
I can't find a trigger leaf spring to leghten up the trigger or a gunsmith willing to lighten the trigger. I will not keep this one much longer.
👍👍
Thanks Mkjo.
