Lenovo Thinkpad E14 laptop - No backlight but it might not be the panel!

This ones a little bit different insofar as we're investigating a previously repaired Lenovo E14 laptop that has no backlight. These machines are pretty tough but I am seeing silly little issues with these as they get older and lots more videos on these odd issues to follow.
No chapters with this one as it's only short.

Really sorry to hear that - it's certainly worth checking. It could be a damaged cable from the motherboard to the screen or the fuse might have popped on the motherboard for the backlight although that is rare unless something has caused an issue. I would doubt it's the LCD itself as the backlights are pretty reliable.
