Moochdocking is great! If people are offering a spot, it’s because they want you there. Period. So cool you got to moochdock in the Keys!
How can anyone give you a hard time about getting invited to stay with friends. How childish. Love the video.

That was by far the most entertaining video y’all have done in a while! And they’re all good! More great editing Tara. Good shots on the bike. Liked the ones of you, Chad, and Daisy. Got to see some of Chad’s patches. Maybe one day he can describe them all. The mangroves were like an episode of “I Love Lucy.” You are too dang funny Tara and I don’t know if you even know it. I can see you on a new version of the emergency alert button commercial - getting caught in your kayak- “help, I’m stuck and I can’t get up!” 😜 You needed a couple of more hands to get outta that situation easier but you handled it like a pro 😉. Gotta say tho, Chad was a tad more graceful limboing that branch- but you get the highest score with the dog and camera difficulty. But, like I said, y’all are so entertaining just paddling around in a kayak, I don’t even think you realize it. That’s saying a lot 😉. Troy
We were down there at no name probably 12 years ago, we were waiting for a table and they had their placemat menu sitting on a table and my buddy looked at it and a light went off, he walked back to his truck and grabbed the menu from the year before. No shock but the prices were a solid 50% higher across the board. If you had the Caribbean wings from there and liked the sauce you can buy it and GFS down in key west.
Our motorcycle group stayed at the KOA you showed for a few years, now that they are rebuilding there are only going to be 4 tent sites in that whole campground
The highway that was built on top of the train bridge makes you wonder how oncoming trucks passed each other without having the mirrors torn off. The highway with shades of blue on both sides of the road for miles puts you in a different frame of mind. Love it down there🙂 Thanks for rubbing it in.
Moochdocking, no difference than flying or driving in and stay with relatives or friends. You guys rock.

We’ve stayed at Boyd’s several times. Always wanted to stay at Bahia Honda and are constantly trying lol. We did kayak there last September and thanks to y’all’s video last year we did the mangrove tunnel at curry Hamic State Park. 😀. I just love that old bridge at Bahia. Another great video guys!

I’ve been moochdocking for 7 months , staying with Family . We also pay for electric and take them to dinner , Dr appointments and whatever they need help with .

Can't believe anyone would give you grief about moochdocking. A great way to visit with minimum fuss for your friends we do it often
On our way home to Idaho after spending a week at Boyd’s. Currently in Sturgis SD, snowing, overnight temperatures in the 20’s. Watching your video tonight helped keep me warm!

I rode my Honda GL1800ABS with a Bunkhouse trailer 73,000 miles all over the USA...so many AMAZING places in our beautiful country! People have no idea of ALL THE AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL AREAS! Traveled over 63,000 on a Suzuki Boulevard 1500 prior to the Honda.

Thank you for always sharing ya'lls story. Chad is my husband's go to for anything rv first lol. And Tara your story helped him to decide to go rv life...he has a tumor that is causing migraines dizziness and other issues that will just be managed by meds. Great video, never heard of moochdocking but I love it, staying and visiting with friends is fantastic, it's astounding to me that people would be upset by this, people invite you because they want you there...just ignore those folks that have a problem with it, they are not worth your time! Love the kayaking adventures, we can't wait to go back to Key West once our borders here in Canada open up again! Safe travels!

22.29 Sloppy Joe's! I was told that Hemmingway was a regular. I use to have a t-shirt from there, but it retired to the rage bin long ago. Immediately after purchasing the garment at that fine establishment, we were drenched in a torrential down pour, which did not let up. We drove up the Keys hoping to drive out of it, but it didn't stop until we got to the mainland. Haven't been back since.

We stayed in Marathon key two weeks last summer and also got a little lost in the mangroves! And the Jellyfish!! Thousands and thousands of them!! None once we got out in the open waters though. Snagged 2 weeks at Bahia Honda for this coming (2023) September!! Whoop!!
So sad and sorry that people complain. I guess I don't got a lot of other things better to do. I love you guys!

Hi to you all, we were at that B Honda state park back in March nice park and clear water at the beach area 👍 but they charged us 9$ for the class B RV for the day no fair , you all got a deal haha. Thanks for sharing your your travels.
We were just at the Fishing Lodge RV park, March 20. We don't have dogs with us. Nice RV park though, but the chained gate is weird. We'll try a mangrove trip next time, looks like fun.

We have our place setup with a 30 AMP plug for our RV beside our house. We also encourage our friends and family to come mooch dock at our place if they are in the area. If I had been thinking when we built the house we would have made it full hookup.

Big Pine Fishing Lodge is in the key deer area and that is why they do not allow dogs. Big Pine Key is serious about their key deer!
We have a full hookup at our house and we love it when friends come to visit.
