I ordered the vacuum then realized later that I forgot to use your link. To make up for that, I gave a thumbs up and subscribed. Thanks for the great content!

Thank you for the great comparison. I'm considering both vacuums. I really like the new Detect Pro, but I want to be able to use a upholstery or dusting tool on it to vacuum my furniture. Do you know if any of the upholstery or dusting tool attachments that were made for other Shark vacuums will fit the Detect Pro?

Hi JAD. I love your reviews and have watched many. Thank you. In your opinion would you pick the Detect Pro over the Stratos? Which one is more powerful? Thank you so much.

Yes, absolutely detect pro, so much lighter weight and better.

@@JustADad Thank you so much for the quick response. Do you think the Detect Pro is more powerful?

      @JustADad  Год назад +1

@@PETERThompson-e6h probably not but for being so light weight I think it is almost as powerful. The stratos just seems so heavy now.

Hi! Just wondering which model is quieter? Sounded like detect pro. Also, I like the feature of the Stratos being able to bend to get under the couch. Does the Detect work if you try to use it with the handle low so it can get under things? Thanks!

  • @MonicaFerguson-fr2ko

Thanks for the video to help me decide. My concern is that the Stratos has the design to get under my couches but I’m not sure if the detect pro could go flat to get under there? I also really like the lift away mode to do above floor cleaning. Does the Stratos have that feature? Lastly, it sounded like the detect process much quieter, would you agree? Thank you!!

If you're in the UK, you get the flexible wand standard. They always seem to get better features and Canada the worst. I love the self empty bin, which I'm going for, esp. when they offered me 50% off, after chasing after a US coupon. Can't beat that to try it. If you really want a flexible wand, you might be able to order it from the UK site.

I believe that it is available to order online(flex wand), or the model exclusive to Costco in North America has it included.

I am thinking of moving from Dyson v10 to one of these. Would you say either of these are just as good as Dyson. Plus in your opinion which one is better on carpet? Thanks

the dust collector storage is bigger on the stratos than the detect pro would you say you have to empty it more often than with the stratos?
And what’s better for vacuuming hair?

Detect pro can come with an auto-empty dock, you put the thing there and it empties the bin to a larger bin.

I do like shark innovation but in my opinion they do a poor job at seperating fine particle aka using foam filter to capture it and highly depen on the hepa filter

It doesn’t have two HEPA filters, dude. It has a pre-filter to keep chunks out of the fan and then after the fan is the HEPA filter on the exhaust that filters out particulates.
have a clue if you’re gonna do reviews

I know the Stratos is a bit better on heavier carpet. It's just all over heavier, so for some that's good, for me that's bad. I'm going for the Detect Pro w/ the self empty bin and Stratos or the other can't beat that.. I wish they didn't cheap out on crevice tools though. Canada is the worst for having fewest accessories. UK is the best and even has a flexible wand.

Dyson seems to have alot of hype around it. I think dyson is the best for hardwood floors, but for both types of floors the shark stratos is a nice vacuum its just kind of heavy. the detect pro is light weight but about the same on carpet as the dyson.
