*THANK YOU* for finding the POTENTIAL of the Element, instead of just bashing it's faults, like so many others!! 👍👍👊 Yeah, it's got bugs.... You know what? SO did the first SCX10!! Excessive Drivetrain Lash, CHASSIS FLEX, Shocks leaked like a sieve, HORRIBLE Plastic U-Joint Driveshafts (first 3 years only), and those enormous Pumpkins! You can guess what happened. The RC World fell in love with it. The Aftermarket went insane, cranking out upgrades and accessories. It became the Reason why RC Crawler/Scaler/Trail Trucks are the Worldwide Phenomenon is what it is today! 😊 I still won't discount the Element just yet. I think and hope that Associated SEES this Video, and the takeaway is an improved version! Oh, and I don't know if it's for sale yet... But as the VS4-10 Body IS stunning, the VS4-10 PRO Half Cab version would rectify the issues you're having with the SUV style Body. Definitely worth a look! Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Francis.... I'm going back and watching all the Element Sendero Videos. I've decided that my Stimulus Check is buying the "Slider" SBK! The ONE thing nobody mentioned when this came out was - the *Higher Frame ends,* giving better CoG and more Droop!! Almost as good as the VS4-10 Chassis - for LESS than 1/3rd the price! Thanks again for your always HONEST look!! Carmine ✈🚂🚙
I went with the 12% OD from the start, see no reason not to. I too installed the hard plastic components, Hobbywing 1080 3s 3300 lipo, Holmes 21T 550, 14T pinion, Savox 1230SG on 7.2 volts. 1.9 Hyrax(Predator) on aluminum Method Bead licks, w/ 4ozs per wheel added to the front. I’m running a JConcepts Bog Hog Willy’s truck body.
I always watch your videos as I feel you are fair. I've been doing and watching a lot of drone videos lately and this was a pleasant break from all the sky borne action. Thanks so much for all you do for the RC community.👌👍
I do agree with some of the comments...the Sport is a better deal as far as stronger plastics , portals and the over-all drivetrain is extremely strong. But that being said...my Element has the upgraded plastics, incision driveshafts, 12% overdrive installed, brass Beef-Patties on the Element hubs, TSL's in the Predator compound with Crawler Innovation Double Deuce foams, Revolver OutRunner powered by a Mamba X esc that also powers a Reef's 555 servo, Hobbywing 1060 esc as a Warn Winch controler and all controlled by a DX5C. And I lowered the right hight by dropping the shocks down to the lower link mounts.
Hey there bro , try stiffin up the rear shows by maybe 3-4 rolls and add 80g or weight in the front. i think itl perform way better!! love the video 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Element is going to be tested this weekend. I have owned them all element kit is very nice and smooth. Servo, tires, wheels that’s it. Keeping it as light as possible as well. Let the portal rigs go they are cool for trailing but not my thing for comps.
At a minimum, which hard plastic parts should I choose? Now I choose, "Shock Mounts"& "Frame Mounting Plates"&"Gearbox & Servo Mount"&"Bumper Mounts". I want some advice.
verrryy good looking this body i like it a lot i ve made a steal rear bumber for my sendero out of a metal car necklace and was looking for a body with interior :d
Huge Favor: I bought some wheels for the Enduro Sendero. I can not for the life of me fit the new wheels to the tires. I even bought the rc4wd blue inner rings because they did not fit with the rings that came with the wheels. I may have found another unfortunately bad issue with this truck. (rtr version). The tires may only fit the stock rims. Has anyone tried to fit the original tires with another aftermarket wheel? Can anyone please try to fit the original tire to another wheel, please? Let me know when possible. Keep up the great work RC Review.
Francis, love watching all your videos. I’ve learned so much thank you! My enduro sendero has predator compounds, can you tell me what weight shock oil and tire foam setup(firmness and single or dual) you run in yours?
Out of the two builders kits, Traxxas TRX4 and Element Sendero, will you provide which is the better value in terms of cost and performance? Great video
Here's our first video comparing performance of the RTRs ruclips.net/video/JLfZ8Pn7OkE/видео.html The TRX4 offers a better value in the kit since it's $280 with very good tires and a decent body (compared to $240). And portals! The Element RC kit is good for those that want their own body and tires anyway.

Awesome looking body Performed a lot better than the stock one. I love those hyrax 😁.. Question.. On the stock element electronics did you guys ever try to reverse the power wires to the motor?
Hi, great video and the body looks great. Does your paint guy offer his services? I love building kits but oh man, I never got into painting my bodies - I just always do the minimum. Thanks.
Cool video, but I’m going with the TRX4 sport come Black Friday/xmas. I wish the TRX Sport came bare bone no tires or body, but in a sense they’re free perks. They should just omit them and lower the price to 199$. The wheel flares also are a bonus for corralling water and dirt away from the electronics. With the TRX Sport I can put the money into esc/motor, and servo and still be on top Being able to run the vehicle right away. Too many extra expenses to almost make it what the Traxxas offers. Thanks for the video!
Love that body, what are those colors? Looking to build the exact same truck because it's looks so nice. I can't find the he body anywhere to buy separately, where did you get it?

At the end of day it’s an expensive build compared to the trx sport kit..no body, no tires and need to upgrade the hard plastic..only thing good it comes with OD gears and alum shock caps..
Only if you want to run the stock Sport body, plastic glue on wheels, and stock tires. It’s the reason I went with the Enduro over the Sport. I didn’t want to use or buy the body, tires, wheels in the Spirt Kit.,
Dezfan trx stock body and tires are quite nice..maybe beadlock wheels and dual stage foam will cost a bit more if you want to swap that out..best part of trx is the portal axles for rock clearance..I’m still looking at both trx and enduro kit..
Super testing. I am following suit on the kit build. But, will try the Scout-like pick up body that comes on the Vanquish Pro. Did you replace the 24 plastic pivot balls too?
for me crawling is all about slow flex type crawling..i dont see much of that here..i would like to see more challenging flexing stuff not just hill climbs
Yep I'm gonna pass on this one. It's one thing to cheap out on certain elements of an RTR to keep a price point but a builders kit is already bare bones, your chassis should be rock solid. Maybe they will offer some kit revisions in the future that make it more appealing.
@@johnd3579 I don't think it's a "cheaper" plastic. Just different with a little more "give". I put the harder plastic on my rig and really didn't notice a difference. The rig don't flex on the trail that you'll notice...especially not near the flex a full grown man that's twisting the chassis by hand...of course it's going to flex. It's a good rig. But I would've waited myself and bought the kit because in the end , I sold the tires and electronic's and installed my own.
First let me say, that is a fantastic build. I am a little disappointed that the element rc comes with soft plastic parts. As you have shown, that makes all the difference in the world! I could forgive them, but I am not, in the RTR, but. definitely should be included with the builders kit. Builder's kits are supposed to include upgrade parts. Really, how much more could it have cost to include those parts with either? However, we All know why, don't we, excess profit. I know that all manufacters play that game, Traxxas being the king in that realm, and it pisses me off!!! Just Saying.
Absolutely agreed. they include extra links for different wheelbases and an extra top shaft for flipping the motor. Very, very few need that. But everyone could have benefited from the hard plastic parts. The RTR should have had the hard plastic parts. version 1.0 so hopefully they address it later.

Can't wait to see this vs the TRX Sport!
Yup. Sparks will fly.
You should have used the Reedy 5 slot 16t motor. Super smooth with great slow speed control.
For sure that is a great choice.

Great body choice. I am ordering my body soon as the kit is done. Will be done before end of the week. I hope lol.
Hello Brandon
Brandon. Element has a rollcage coming; so, I am picking the split cab/bed Vanquish Pro body for mine.
@@billderas3420 yes I saw the cage is coming. I have a few ideas in mind. Will have make up my mind. Not easy that's2 for sure.
That paintwork is great!
Also I noticed that you can get the same turning radius out of each side if you setup up the links properly when building the kit
Right on. We have noticed uneven steering radius on all our vehicles. Seems to be the nature off these designs. It's hardly noticeable though.
SUPER COOL THAT YOUR KEPT THE ELECTRONICS CHEAP!
Yes! Should come out to $100 for ESC, servo, radio
Your channel is so helpful
great looking truck..one day i aim to have one..great info too ..cheers
I love that vanquish body
It's very good and perhaps the best thing about that vehicle.

Is the element trail walker chassis able change wheel base???

I really like that Wheel and Tire combination. Where can I find a set of those?
The wheels are Traxxas Beadlocks. The tires are Proline Hyrax. snp.link/45c92b66
Hey man where did you get the body from
Boss..Can u do a comparison between TRX sport kit and Enduro assembly kit in terms of cost, upgrades etc..😁
Yes. For now, here is the kit comparison ruclips.net/video/JLfZ8Pn7OkE/видео.html
I mean kit vs kit comparison..prokit..I think many ppl now misunderstood the term kit..back in the days kit means unassembled form..
What weight shock oils did you use
Awesome job 🤙
I’m new to this but I thought the steering servo stock was really good
Did you weight the tires?
hi Francis! What are the wheel weights you use for this vehicle? Thank you!
How easy is it to build with a larger wheel base? Have you tried them? I really like the Proline 12.8 Rubicon body.
When building the kit from scratch, building the larger 12.8 wheelbase is exactly the same work as a 12.3. The needed links are included.
Did you spend more money upgrading kit components overall than the cost of say, a vanquish kit? I'm trying to decide which route to take.
Huge Favor: I bought some wheels for the Enduro Sendero. I can not for the life of me fit the new wheels to the tires. quick question, what pinion gear did you go with?
