1983 Honda Magna Rebuild - Fork Seal Install

- I have been fighting with the magna for the last month to install the fork seals between having to reorder parts and tools, to life getting in the way. But finally I was able to get them installed and the reassembly of the front end back underway.... The saga continues as you will see in the next video. But enjoy the this installment of the 2024 Magna saga. Hopefully only a few more small projects to button up before we put some miles on this 41 year old machine again.
The Honda Magna was the first muscle bike that started a craze that has lasted for 40 years. Sporting a 90 degree V4 engine, Hydraulic Clutch, and shaft drive the Honda Magna was a direct attack on Harley Davidson. A cult following to this day the Honda Magna is a true classic that deserves more attention from the motorcycle world.

It's hard to add a T bar on magna ??
I know it has been done but I have not attempted it. You would need to find a riser adapter because the top triple and risers are one piece. Then a straight drag bar would be the closest thing I can of. You would need to extend the cables and hydraulic lines.
Perfect im leaking fluid from my forks
Just make sure you have good snap ring pliers, that was essential. Patience helped too, but that is harder to cone by lol
Hey was wondering where did you get your rebuild kit. Only place i found was pyramid parts.
Partzilla.com you can look up by year and model. They had Honda OEM parts available.
@magnamole thx, should've look there first. Now have to get the bushing. Had ordered from other place for 37mm fork rebuild and the bushing didn't fit
I didn't do bushings but probably not a bad idea. Once you have the parts not bad at all, my summer has just been so busy I have felt bad taking so long. Best of luck in your searches, thanks for stopping by!
Just wondering is ur throttle manual return or would I need a new return spring?
Has a return spring at the carb, push and pull throttle cables.
