You did a good job on this video. Very helpful stuff for those of us who haven't done a seal replacement. Thanks for taking the time to record it and post it.
😆the non - technical aspect of your video is hilarious! I couldn't help but snicker as your buzz increased. 1983 V65 Magna, 1984 v42 magna and 1983GL1100 all have been wrenched on while "I drank a little", I too have the sense to know when to stop. Wrench'en That is. Thank you for the laugh! Peace!
Interesting color.. I had red.. have black.. seen tan factory with colored pinstripe. After 2 years in its cocoon.. I drained gas.. charge batt. Bought a tester.. lost spark .. back than.. I'm sure its minor. But need to ride it or sell it. Retired. Its complicated.. beast machine. Good VIDEO.
Thanks, your video was very helpful. You mentioned the carb pry bar. Not necessary!!! Pull the v-center part of the air cleaner out first and the spacing is open to easy removal.
Nice video! Thanks, after watching it i just changed my sealings today! The trick with the thin plastic to protect the new sealing is brilliant! I used an coca cola bottle, and it was perfect.
I could listen to you all day. How about carburetor removal. Next time you do one can you show us how? Also thanks for the the tip about fork support. I don't wanna eat shit. Really like your videos. Leo
great video, thanks for sharing this, i want to add a few things to what you did installing the seals, 1st off, NEVER use Any Kinda of metal to push the seal down into place, reason being is you can scratch the upper tube in the area that moves over the new seal, this can cause the new seal to fail prematurely, 2nd, instead use a piece of pvc pipe to seat the new seal( i think its 2 1/4 inch pipe ?) :)

awesome so far, but now i'm here in holland with a complete fork tube dismounted. You tell it awesome well! is there a part 2?
And I'm going to start naming my common tools also.
When did you put new oil back in it? Thank you!
Where's part 2? did the hard lines connected at the top of the fork pose an issue when disassembling? Did the intercartage spin in place?
What about the air line? Do you have to do anything about that?
doing Gods work!
Will this work for 1983 v45 sabre
what seat is that
where is part deux
