BOSS DOG how do you keep from cross threading when putting the fork caps back on? I can barley hold the caps down against the forks and I'm afraid I'll cross thread them.
Followed to the letter. when trying to pull the lower fork leg down it jams. gentle tapping turned into heavier whacks with a wooden drift. Upper bushing riding over the lower?
If the piston tube is spinning in the fork tube when you are trying to take out the bolt in the fork sleeve, put the spring and spacer back in and press the spacer down while turning bolt.
David Daniels no all the magnas use a similar fork system. The process is slightly different to access the forks but the proceedure is the same. Just be sure to look up your fork fluid specs because they will be different

Great video how many hours to do this without the video time ?
I can do it in about a half hour. With a learning curve figure maybe an hour or 2
how much oil goes exactly to one pipe because I just exchange and the old one was 550 milliliters
