Beautiful day on Jenks Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains. California is known for beautiful lakes and fishing. There is a local RV campground near by. You can float tube, kayak, or fish from shore. It has been saved by volunteers that deserve every ounce of credit keeping the lake full of water

I remember watching your videos from a couple years ago when Jenks was in danger of becoming a swamp in the mountains and seeing all the work you did to help save it. Jenks is arguably one of the best trout fisheries in Southern California and you were a big part of keeping it alive. Hope to see you up there on the water!

Just camped over the weekend at San Gorgonio and brought my kids to fish at Jenk’s lake. Using a small fishing pole and worms, they caught several bluegill (released them). What fun!! Thanks for saving Jenks Lake. Stopped to eat at Soup n Fresh in Rancho Cucamonga (exact replica of a Soup Plantation) on the way back to LA. A perfect summer weekend getaway!!

Any largemouth Bass at Jenks to get into since the lake came back?

I have not seen any yet. I am going back this month or July and see if they are out and about. I doubt it though

I never seen no one fish from a tube lol military we call it adopt and overcome. You may just found a niche for RUclips videos
