7 1/2 gallons of propane?? I have the 5 gallon and 10 gallon as well others up to the 25 gallon tanks. The 5 gallon is a 20 pound, the 10 gallon is a 40 pound and the 25 gallon is a 100; pound tank. Normally a propane tank only holds 85% of it's total capacity. So you must deduct that 15% from any propane tanks. Propane by the way weighs 4 pounds per gallon in case you were interested. The reason I want to know the size is because with propane you have the head which is where the gas is pulled from. But you also have a area called the disengagement zone below the head. That's were the liquid propane turns into the gas form to be used. How efficient the system performance is, is based on keeping up the head pressure so the disengagement zone is not to close to outlet of the tank. The lower the head pressure the lower the line pressure after the regulator. Most regulators do not work well with low head pressure which the pressure in the tank. Larger tanks maintain better head pressure and better disengagement zones. Which makes the system more efficient. Once while in the oil field we actually ran several tests using the regulator on each tank. We did a 250 gallon, a 500 gallon and a 1000 gallon tank. Each one ran a burner with the orfice and the same settings on the air mixer to the burner. All had multiple gauges letting us know the pressure and flow rate for each tank. So it wasn't just a let's see how each one does running a house. It was as close as we could get it. The engineers did a great job but had told us their should be no difference as the BTU per pound of propane was the same in each tank. Well never play another man's game cause you will lose. The head or tank pressure started to drop on the 250 reducing the line pressure which made the burner less efficient. That meant fewer BTUs being produced. In fact the flame went from a beautiful blue to a crazy orange color. So their was a difference in how many BTUs were produced by each tank. The engineers ran the tests twice with the same results. Hence that's why I like bigger tanks I know, I know. A Long winded answer for wanting to know the size of the tanks. I do like how their are no cuts or editing on your walk around. I did like the trailer and was glad to see it had the glass doors for the garage as some used ones don't. It looked to be a nice clean unit. Can't wait for more of them. Don’t like the stove and fridge have carpet area

Wish my car, a Kia Soul,was designed for hauling even a micro trailer but the owner's manual says due to transmission design, turning radius and something else, DON'T PULL anything.

Beautiful unit..Just can't stand seeing that cable slide-out set-up instead of the rack and pinion..especially on those big and heavy slides,,,bedroom closet, fine,,,full living room, foolish..Thanks for a toyhauler video...Thats my next purchase...

I love RVs but the only bad thing is the slide outs always end up leaking after a couple years.

Absolutely love it when you give the size of the propane tanks especially if one or two sizes bigger can be put in. Like you I want one large sink. Sounds bad but it makes giving the grandkids a sink bath. Nice trailer.

Regarding financing I’m 35 and purchase my first rv in April Of 2024. I got a 2022 gulfstream vista cruiser 19csk to live in when I’m off the road since I’m a truck driver. My credit was a 780 ish and I got a 10 percent interest rate 12 year loan from the local credit union. I’ve talked to older folks at campgrounds and they say that is outrageous. Personally with interest rates I felt like I got a great rate compared to others these days. Heck the other bank over here isn’t giving personal loans for Less than 11 percent with perfect credit. This was an 18,000 ish camper and I only put 500 down. I was surprised I was approved at all I tried to get a camper 2 years ago with 4 grand down and they turned me down 🤷‍♂️ thankful to have a camper

What actual failed Driver error The hitch failed ,brake controller was after market, not installed right or wired incorrectly .The trailer brake them selves failed or just not big enough or too short of a distance to stop. My understanding the trailer should supply the stopping power for its GVW I am sure it was more than 1/2 ton pickup alone Thanks for this information. But not sure if the truck was a 3/4 ton S/A this could have been avoided

That device over the sink is known by many names: over the sink roller rack, drying rolling mat, roller dish mat, etc. I don't like the lack of counter space around the stove. The way I cook, I keep lots of ingredients next to the stove. I know there are compromises to be made in any RV and I could overlook the cramped stove area because that living room is wonderful. Lots of space and seating arrangements. I would not store toilet paper in the cabinet on either side of the TV. When you opened it up, my first thought was why did they store TP there? For the bottom cabinets I would put games, DVD's and other entertainment items. Depending on how visible items are with the frosted glass panels, I would store rolled up blankets and pillows to use with the sofas and theater seating or just keep the top part empty. I like the bedroom with a full king and space to walk around. Thanks for the video. Rockwood has a good reputation.

Just put a deposit on a new left over 2023 B Van with a good a Lithium system for 40% off MRSP. I would think it was a good deal, considering they were going for near MRSP 18 months ago. Not sure B Vans can get to 45% off due to the increase price of the chassis.

I absolutely love how you cover the propane tank size because that's very important to me as is the size of the hot water heater and the stove/oven. The weight carrying cap is also very important to me. The electric service is also important but i can change that. I can change the size of the propane tanks easily. The axels not so much but i can di that. The hot water heater isn't hard either but may not be changeable. For such a fast walk through you cover more than those who take 25 minutes. Not to say names, oh hell why not. Josh takes forever to cover and doesn't give as much information. Thanks!!

I have a 21 Rpod 192 that has been great, bought in the Covid turmoil. The only complaint is it was too low, occasionally hitting the waste drain on rough uneven roads. I installed a body lift kit to correct it. Beast mode would of been nice for me.

Great information as always. Anytime a dealer answers a question with a question when it was a simple answer then I ask a second question with a easy answer. If I get another question in return with no answer to the question I thank the salesperson and tell them I can't shop here because I can't get answers. Then I leave. If he wants me to stay then that person is out as a salesperson to me. If the second one does the same thing then I talk to the GM and tell him not only has he lost my business but I will tell everyone I know not to deal with this company. The old adage is a satisfied customer brings you three more customers. A dissatisfied customer costs you ten customers. I guess that holds true now but that was how it was years ago. Thanks for the update! I find your channel to be straight up factual and a valuable part of my due diligence before we purchase our retirement RV. There are so many things to take in account when purchasing a RV, and it seems that a lot of folks get taken advantage of because they don’t take the time to do some research. Great info, this is why I watch u. Getting info from someone working within an RV dealership and their perspective is fascinating. I looked up the CW auctions and was tempted, until I read in addition to the final price u owe 3% of final price as a transaction fee to CW and final cost doesn’t include documents fee, or taxes. And the fact CW can reject the final offer, this is a great tactic for CW, not so much for the consumer…. I think I’ll just stick to my plan and wait till Sep to buy. If sales continue to stagnate or drop I’ll be in a much better position to get a good deal.

Ok it's what's called full reserve auction which is not really a auction at all. They may have a auctioneer do it but they take a cut as well. Depending on the state they hold it in they must say it has a reserve on it. If a auctioneer is holding it then they are regulated by most states. The auctioneer must state what his or her charges are in advance. Most charges are 10 to 15% to the buyer and some also charge the seller. But if it's really a true auction, which I would highly doubt but who knows. Personally Camping World and their other brand Grander RV could not pay me to take a free RV from them. I do not support people that in my humble opinion are crooks and do all kinds of underhanded stuff. Thanks for the video you always tell it like it is.

He doesn't talk about the quality of RVs. In my opinion, if you can't pay cash for this type of discretionary item, you probably don't need it. If you take the time that most people use their RV and then factor in the carrying costs, most people would probably be better off renting an RV or staying in a rental RV or cabin at a nice campground. Remember, you always have the power to say NO and walk out of the dealership. I did that with my last vehicle purchase. I walked out. I had the salesman calling me and calling me. I needed to buy a car. I had my bottom line price. I walked out for $21.00. In the end, I got the car for $500 less than I was willing to pay. You would be surprised what a salesman will do when he has a willing buyer but his need to earn the commission is much stronger than the buyer's need for the vehicle. I am sure it is the same with the RV industry. Just walk out. You can always walk back in. However, with all the nice looking stuff in the RVs, I am constantly reminded off all the horror story videos about RV quality.
