  • In these times when modern classics are in vogue. What modern classic would you chill out on and why?. We are limited by the very small amount of manufacturers that are still in production from bygone days. Moto Guzzi has never sold out and bikes are still made in the original factory on lake Como in Italy. These bikes are so endearing, from the early le mans to the various California models. Will we be able to even keep our vintage bikes on the road with the restrictions coming over the next few years. I for one enjoy my motorcycles so much that I will continue to collect bikes not for future profit, but because once it's in your blood, when you wake you just want to ride. Part 2 inbound (The ride )
depending if you guys want to see it 😉

Exactly the same bike as mine ( even down to the Sport Demon ) except mine is the carby version. I believe you had a choice between carbs or injection. I've developed Popeye forearms from the heavy carby throttle pull so the injection model is probably a smarter choice😂
Similar story to mine as well. One owner 1995 model from Tassie with 25,000kms ( now 28,500kms). I've got the factory panniers and top box. It looks like yours had/has them too looking at the hole in the chrome cover on the side. The previous owner towed a trailer so it came with a towbar and fittings as well which I've removed. I'll be putting it on Historic plates next year.

Cool, I'm going to look at historical plates, purely because having been registered in the UK from Italy then to Spain, the plates are too modern

@@motechRevolution It's $50 a year here for Historical registraion compared to over $500 for normal rego. The bike has to be over 30 years old and you have to keep a log book but are still allowed to ride it for 60 days a year. That's plenty if you have more than one bike which most of us do😂.

@@coobye I believe here in Spain, on historical plates there is no Annual tax, not sure about mileage restrictions though.

@@motechRevolution Might be worth checking out.
It might be a good option if you're not going to be putting a huge amount of kms on it. Insurance is also a cheaper over here for bikes on historic rego.
