karlb1 Thanks dude :) haha yeah I know what you mean. I'm using 11-54 but swapped out the 6th string for a 70. 70 is a good amount of tension in F# for me

How do you get your tone ? Bias ? I can't get a good distorted tone. I use a scarlett interface as well. What could I be doing wrong ? Do you have a DI box or something ?

Pedro Thanks man! Ibanez RG~fractal AX8~focusrite scarlett 6i6~pro tools 11. Then just a bit of lo-fi on guitar, subtractive EQ and some MB compression. Nothing too extravagant :)

Abr130 Thanks man! Ibanez RG w/ seymour Duncan’s. Then for the amp tone I’m playing through a fractal AX8. I think at the time i was using the FAS modern amp model with the orange cab sim. Then just some light EQ in pro tools (filter out low end to tighten up, scoop out some boxy 800hz region etc.) then some compression for pick attack. Something like that anyway haha

Thank you dude! Using an Ibanez guitar with seymour duncan pickups (59 in bridge and JB in the neck I think). Focusrite scarlett 6i6 interface with JBL LSR305 monitors. Then just running a Fractal AX-8 through Pro Tools 11 :)

What gauge strings you using for their tuning..? I had a .70 but dropped back to a .64 and seemed to work a bit better on a 25.5 scale

Yeh true. Can tell from the headstock shot its a beefy low string! I pushed the mids a bit harder and more presence and eased back on the low end and the .70 sounded a bit better. But the .64 has been 👌 I heard they run the baritone lights .62-.13 so gonna give those a run next. You got any music on SPOTIFY bro.?
