- What's the best way to fly in Europe at the moment? Business Class, First Class? Unfortunately short haul flights in Europe have an awful reputation. Blocking a middle seat? Or perhaps not even offering any food (no shade honestly Iberia).
Today i've found a contender and it's one of my favourite aircraft the 787 Dreamliner. Yes this is Turkish Airlines brand new Business Class. Compare this to short haul on an A320, 737 etc from the likes of British Airways, Iberia or Lufthansa - they're world's apart. Of course travel at the moment is very different due to various lockdowns and the current situation at hand. So let's find out what this is like, together.

4:46 just to answer that as a Dutch guy. Schiphol has been testing with new advanced CT scans at the security on the airport since 2016 which has allowed people to keep their stuff in their bag but also take up to 1 liter of liquid with them through security, and well as they were really succesfull they have replaced all old scanners with new CT scans.

Thanks for this video! I recently flew on a United Airlines long haul business class and the seat was amazing but the dining package was similar to your business experience in this video. So overall, the USA business class service was the same as this Turkish Airlines service.

There is something about watching people spend more money on a flight than u could in 3 years that is rlly fun to watch.
Another great video. You’re braver than I am on the swings but I’d probably give it a go since I’m an AMS after all. Weird how you can use the overhead lockers on Turkish. Is it like this on all airlines post pandemic? Would love to see a premium economy sometime. Hoping things cheer up by next spring/summer. My trip was already postponed this year, and concert and trip have been rescheduled next summer, although I want to pop over for a few days in the spring. Looking forward to your next adventure. US airlines aren’t allowing the face coverings with vents anymore.
Was so much fun I’d highly recommend trying the swings 😀. And the overhead bins are banned on all flights going into Turkey... super strange right. Hope you’re able to travel again soon. And thanks for the heads up, was going to look at some other masks for future trips.

You departed from Runway 36L at Amsterdam and that runway is really far. Though there are 5 other runways. But most of them are in the wrong direction and some were (/are) closed and one is probably to short. Also, the majority of the 6 runways only allow either landing or take-offs but not both.
Here's a friendly advice. Don't take off your shoes until you're in cruising altitude! This is in case of an emergency during takeoff, you'd be wearing shoes instead of being barefooted/ in slippers to escape! Love the vid!

BA have got 787s on some AMS and ZRH rotations and sometimes they can open up the F cabin for J pax.
It's a great experience tried it last month, just a shame it's only 45mins. Was on the 787-8 so no F unfortunately

I’ve since found out it’s due to Turkish legislation, so it’s the same for any airline flying into the country

Great video as always. I really don't understand airlines that don't allow filming - especially in this day and age, and with all the free publicity it brings. They definitely need to take a leaf out of Qatar's book! Looking forward to your next adventure :)

Another great video. Istanbul one of my fave cities, the underground reservoirs where a scene one of the early Bond films was filmed are a great place to visit. That swing in Amsterdam well all I can say you have bigger b*lls than me lol. Take care and keep safe.
