I agree. But Jay and Dave had terrible interview skills at the beginning, and became much better over time. He's gotten much better after his Striesand debacle.

I agree. I find him funny, fresh and new, but his interview skills can greatly improve. The reason he is still on is because NBC can't afford to find and replace him with someone else, it would ruin their reputation and credibility. They made their choice, so now they're stuck with him, and they'll just have to work with him. And I don't mean that in a negative way, that's just how business works. He hasn't even had a full year on the job yet, of course they won't do or say crap about him. And there's plenty of videos that show his awkward, lame interviewing skills. Fortunately for him, for whatever reason, young people find awkwardness funny.
That "Breezy Weezy" part hit me harder than it should. 🤣
I hope Brian Williams enjoy his retirement. Congrats to him.

Maybe the distinction is *his show* is entertaining, which is worked on by his dedicated staff, but not Jimmy himself.
Anyway, your point still doesn't disprove other people's opinions about Jimmy's talents. IMO, Jimmy is not that funny and not good at interviewing his guests. :D

Chan Pearl He's actually not. He's the head of the executive branch. Would kinda be a bad idea to give a guy the power over a part of the government that can take away his power. You can see how that would be bad. So yeah. America is made up of 3 different branches, and those work independently, yet are in constant communication and interaction with each other.
