Luke your father was quite simply one of the best singer songwriters of his generation and he had passion for it like nobody else brought happiness and laughter and tears to his songs so missed by so many god bless you
Luke, have only just seen this interview. Have always loved The Small Faces, and The Faces. How Come is one of my favourite songs of all time . I know a band that play that song, and more, and they have seen Slim Chance play live recently, such a wonderful tribute to a talented musician. Will never be forgotten xxx

Luke... Thank you for sharing your memories with us. Your dad was a remarkable man for so many reasons, you know that already of course. Sadly he couldn't stay longer, he's so sorely missed. 💗🙏
Luke, I love watching your Dad perform. His voice is enchanting. He also sounds like a real person and human being. His life was too short as you'll know of course. I'm very sad about his illness, but I will continue to enjoy his work. Heaven's made a terrific gain.
Peter Woodier So you're saying this guy on the show here is Ronnie Lane? This old guy with the gray beard the gray hair is Ronnie Lane? I thought he died from Ms wow your tellimg me he's alive? Wow that's great! Then! maybe he will get back together with Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood and play with them again! So that was a hoax saying he was dead? I thought so! Ronnie was one the most liked people in rock n roll. Just watched a live performance of Maybe I'm amazed and Rod couldn't help putting his arm around Ronnie. A good man, mate, and bassist!

I've always loved The Small Faces. It was one of those moments you can remember where you were when I heard on the radio that Ronnie had gone, so sad that his son found out the same way.
"Not materialistic, he just wanted the music to be there for the people..." Sadly, the same cannot be said for Rod Stewart, no wonder they had a falling out. RIP Ronnie Lane.
One of the great unsung artists of the rock era. I like Ian McLagen's name for the tribute he did to Ronnie, "Spiritual Boy". He was down-to-earth and funny - try "You're So Rude" or "On the Beach" - and also spiritual and soulful - "Debris," "Ooh La La."
Loved the Small Faces, the music of my youth, Ronnie Lane, so cool. Luke, so sad that you heard of your fathers passing on the radio, that’s not right, thinking of you buddy
