    Great reminder that we can wrap the wire with pipe cleaners or tape to make it easier to wrap too!
    And how easy is it to stick a bit of tape on a wonky end, why have I never thought of that before 🤣
    Thanks Pippa!! xx

    I will never finish learning from you ❤️. I have been using the rubbish wire this whole time! Had to pause the video and order galvanized! Thank you!!!!!

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  2 года назад +1

      Well, it was really odd because I never normally had to stipulate galvanised but then this really wobble wire arrived and it was a big difference, something to watch out for xx

      @@feltsbyphilippa thank you - I am going to try the paper wrapped wire, it’s steel though, I wonder if that’ll be ok?

      Galvanised is better as it's rust proof but I liked the paper wrapped for thin fairy arms x

    You are sooo incredible. I adore everyone of your videos. I also adore all of the felted creatures you've made. They are just so cute. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for all of your amazing tutorials, inspiration, and tips on this unique design work. I have felted purses, book covers, box covers, and many other projects. I have only felted one animal and that was a mouse to go in a doll house. I want to do more, and I will with your help. Thank you.

    Thank you for all the information! I have a question… can needle felted objects be left outside? Wondering about an antennae critter for a car.

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  Год назад +1

      Yes they can but hot sun will fade it and eventually they will break down, however it should look OK for 6 months to a year x

    Thank you so much for your wonderful videos Philippa, I'm learning a lot !! Also, I was wondering, what does changing the degree of our needle poking do? Are there different angles you should aim to poke your roving depending on what you're doing? Mainly asking because I've heard 90 degree (and in this video 45 degree) poking mentioned, and it seems like people change what they're doing depending on the step they're in. Thanks again so much~

    • @feltsbyphilippa
      @feltsbyphilippa  2 года назад +1

      90 degrees when building up the base helps and then 45 degrees for finishing a project and trying to get a smooth finish with a finer needle. Also 45 degrees helps when you are close to wire, gives you more room to felt without hitting the wire. Glad you like my videos and thanks for watching them xx
