Thanks for the video. It's interesting to see all these 22LR brands shooting without problems from a 22 pistol. Here in Brazil they sell the standard TX22, I hope they put the compact version on sale soon, it seems like a very good gun to have on your waist while at home, light , reliable and fast. 👍
Federal Punch has worked fine since I shot this video. I have no issues with it now. I'm also looking forward to trying the CCI Uppercut in the future.
@@corporategonecountrythat's good to hear! I seem to find quite a few reviews and videos regarding ftf with punch. Never heard of cci uppercut until you mentioning it just now! CCI definitely makes a great round and I'd pick up a defense round of theirs in a heartbeat
I looked at shoptaurus.com and it is unclear to me if the tx22 compact uses the same laser as the standard tx22. Taurus/Viridian have changed the laser to a green laser (which is good) but it costs $45 more than the red laser which is now discontinued. This change happened a few months after I published this video. The new green laser just says it fits the TX 22 and doesn't mention the compact. My advice would be to call Taurus at 800-327-3776 and ask the question. Please let us know what they say if you call them. Thank you.
The barrel adapter was included in the box for the purchase that I made. It is my understanding that is a standard included item for purchasing this firearm.
@@corporategonecountry thanks , I want this gun for my wife . 22lr has little recoil , im adding the tandemkross accessories such as comp and trigger to make it better .
Here's the link. This holster can be ordered for many firearms. There is a Pick List on the website for the firearm you want to order it for. Thanks for watching. shoptaurus.com/shop-by-model/um-tactical-qualifier-holster-iwb-owb-black
It is holding up fine, thank you. I am still excited about this purchase. The laser that I bought is not specifically labeled for the Compact. It is just labeled for TX 22. When I bought the laser, it was branded E-Series. in checking on shoptaurus.com (Dec '23), it looks like they've transitioned the branding to "Essential" rather than E-Series. But I am confident that it's the same laser and it will fit either the TX 22 or the TX 22 Compact. Thanks for watching and thanks for the discussion!
I believe the holster will accommodate an optic such as a red dot reflex sight. shoptaurus.com has a few of these listed for sale that should work -- but it does look like many are out of stock (Dec '23). There is a cutout in the holster that exposes the entire plate that is removed from the top of the slide at the rear when installing the optic. As long as that optic fits within the footprint of that plate, it will clear the holster.
That's a super nice setup with the laser holster combo. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate the comment! All the best to you.

Yes, light, reliable and fast is a good description. I hope the Compact comes to Brazil.
Great video! I have this same setup, waiting on the laser. Did you find federal punch to be consistently unreliable? (I bought 250 rds )

I used to work for Chicago Bridge and Iron
Me too! Almost 40 years. I'm glad you recognized the hat.
Does the tx22 compact use the same laser as the standard tx22?

Hows it holding up still? Looks like the laser fits both models for tx22? I dont see one specifically for the compact
I noticed that as well. I was also wondering if it would still fit in the holster with an optic
