Fate Of Destruction - Lyra 8 & Model D Ambient

- I got inspired of the new Terminator Dark Fate that is coming later this year. This is what I felt when I listened to James Cameron and Tim Millers AI Interview. I'm using the Model D and The Lyra 8 together with some outboard FX. The Lyra is the voice of the machines and the model d is the voice of the humans.
I hope you like this long journey in to nothingness.

Nice Lyra-8 work and the Model D sounds good to. I am very tempted by the Model D to replace my now sold original Minimoog. Great idea to play the two instruments off as the voices of the Machine and the Humans.

@@tarekmansur Thanks, sir! I chose Metaspherz as my .aol email address in the late 1990's after Atmosphere and Metasphere were already taken. Then it became my (now defunct) band's name in the early 2000's. BTW, the LYRA fits in well with the DARK AMBIENT themes of your music. I have not heard anything else so far that so well showcases it as a musical instrument!

Dear Tarek, although I understand your line of thinking behind this song (Terminator), I find what you do with the Lyra 8, sounds (for me) too heavy. I just listened to "Dark Worlds" again and what you have produced there remains for me so incredibly beautifully composed ... i am a little emotional writing this (it is in Holland Royal day "Koningsdag" so i had some beers.., cheers! Love your work!
Heey!! Still to this day I have nightmares of the T-800 tracking me down to kill me.. Worst nightmares, impossible to escape. Hahaha!! Maybe that's why the Lyra makes it to dark, but if you've had those nightmares you would understand! Really glad you like "Dark Worlds"!! 😋❤️

@@tarekmansur Hi - thanks for the visit & comment - yip Erica Synth has cool tools for sounddesign and playing live - have some of them where the Bassline (module) is almost in every set up :-) Will check new feeds for sure. which fx are you using and how are they connected? really looking into lyra8 but not sure of it yet :/ so need advice
Hi Ahmad! I am using the Strymon pedals: BigSky Reverb and TIMELINE Delay. They are were connected straight to the synths. The Lyra 8 is my fav synth! U will love it!

So is the signal from the Model D going via the Lyra or are they separately mixed together after coming out each box?
Hi Matthew! No actually the Model D goes through my Strymon Big Sky and Time Line. The Lyra does it's own thing.
