My understanding is that a second remake (or possibly a whole new game, it was never clarified) was planned, but was cancelled because EA didn't think the remake did well enough (despite it having the second highest first-month sales of any game in 2023). Yeah, the devs were basically showing off at this point. I really hope this one gets a remake too. Motive did such a good job with the first one.
