Anybody else noticed the fact that the ending of Dead Space 2 is a reference to the ending of Dead Space 1? In DS1 music starts speeding up at the end and when Isaac looks to his right he gets jumps cared by Nicole, and in DS2 music also starts speeding up, and when he looks to his left, Ellie is there instead of getting jumpscared. Genius.

You really only hear noises when issac directly bumps into shit. And I find that that makes the game so much more immersive and suspenseful. I miss this game
Yeah I can't agree more, it adds to the horror immersion and not just scary silence just for dramatic effect, literally sound can't carry in space. I know it sounds easy not to miss from the devs, but they could've also failed keeping us locked in the Titan the whole time. There wouldn't be much fun or risk in not running out of air, having a breach in the ship, or literally having a necromorph knock you out of the ship while a gunship is firing at you.
5:18 I just love how the tension and everything nearly goes quiet in space for a second then the tripod necromorph appears and the tension returns rising.

Everybody thought the Seeker rifle was useless as a sniper weapon, until you realize it's a perfect high-powered magnum for the stronger enemies in the game.
Haha, I just noticed that while watching the video! Never crossed my mind while playing through the game - probably because my nerves were frazzled after that ridiculous scene.
Oh, and a quick tip for anyone new wanting to get into playing this. A blast with a fully powered, alternate shot from the Line Gun would one shot most bosses and everything else. The Force Gun, Detonator, Line Gun, and The Ripper Gun powered up would get you through at least 95% of the game, no problem.
Buzzsawing those weird necromorph toddlers when they swarm you for the first time was one of the most satisfying and memorable moments I've experienced in a game. I really need to play this game again soon. Its definitely up there in my top 10 list of favorite games of all time.
I finished it but it was an unsatisfied ending although I did like when you played Co op it really impressed me how each character interacted with each other so well

Ever notice how this actually goes straight back to when Ellie told Isaac, "You owe me an eye you bastard" after Strom stabbed hers out? Remember, this event actually has a UNIQUE death sequence for Isaac if you fuck it up and even when you succeed, well, I mean you're still getting stabbed in the eye. That all said, Isaac's plans still end up paying off and he DOES pay what he owes to Ellie. Hell, they even did it with the same eye that got taken from her.
This game is too much for me now. When I was 18 I played this game 5 times and fully enjoying it. I bought the game again 2 weeks ago and I literally had to stop playing every 30 minutes because I was getting so anxious and tense that I actually started to sweat. I'm only 25
Honestly and this is my opinion Dead space series was one of the best games I’ve played and it still is I feel like buying the 360 again and the games so I just enjoy Dead space again!!!
I Think you should go Support Negative Atmosphere The Name Can Mean Dead Space. It’s just like it and it could be pretty good when complete finished, Heck if they can get enough Money they might be able to buy the rights for the Dead Space Franchise!
The Dead Space franchise are THE BEST games I've ever played, it just gives you that feeling that keeps you on your toes constantly and whenever it can it'll remind you it's a survival-horror game, of course DS3 sucked but still never lost my love for the first 2.

You know, I'm just hoping they'll at least give us a Remastered version, or HD version, or something for current gen consoles and PC. Tripods never felt like a boss fight to me except first time you meet them. The only time I died to a tripod is in the chapter 07 I believe where u are attacked by a pack of them while flying to another station, and even then only once.
Am I the only one amazed by how battle hardened, and how fast his reactions are? He can pretty much use his plasma cutter and hit weak spots whilst being hung upside down and sideways by giant necromorphs, he’s disorientated from getting thrown around, sent flying by explosions, getting sucked into deep space, yet still reacts immediately to oncoming threats, such as giant necro monster jumping right infront of him and roaring in his face. Crazy

I came to this video because of the Tormentor boss. I barely saw how the creature looked because I was trying not to die and I was just shooting its weak spot lol. That sequence was crazy

it's hallucinations caused by the marker. It's not by his own free will that he is seeing and/or talking to Nicole.
He likely believes Nicole’s conscience still exists and is attempting to destroy the marker.
