The Waltons was the finest TV series to ever appear on network television, More than 45 years later it still appears in syndication today. No matter how many times each episode is aired, the show still appeals again and again. Earl Hamner was an absolute genius, presenting stories about his depression-era family in a wholesome and enriching manner. The ensemble cast was magnificent. The writing was brilliant. The original Waltons Hamner house is still available for tours in Schuyler, VA today. It has been beautifully restored with vintage furniture and hearts of pine flooring, and it feels "just like the show!" The docent is a charming mixture of Doris Hamner, Michael Learned and Olivia Walton. This is a real treat for all fans of The Waltons!
I still watch this show to this date via FREEVEE, and continue to L O V E it. I love all the children, the parents, grandparents and all the cast, including Ike and Corabeth, the Baldwin sisters, Yancey, etc.
A série "família Waltons" marcou minha infancia! No final de cada episódio em que todos desejavam "boa noite" eu não queria que acabasse e ficava ansiosa esperando pelo próximo capítulo! rssss
I love this show and videos like this one. Recently, I've seen episodes such as The Battle of Druscilla's Pond, The Return, and Grandma Comes Home. My absolute fave is The First Edition, but there's a lot to enjoy in all the episodes and movies. My best wishes to all the remaining cast and crew members.
In NYC's Verizon Fios Cable we get The Waltons on two different channels every day; the inspiration channel and the hallmark channel. Four hours on Hallmark and once twice a day on Inspiration TV. I have enjoyed the show for years. My family is originally from Virginia where my granddad made "shine" in the mountains for extra money. He and my grandmother had ten children during the depression. He had a legal job but it didn't pay for all his expenses. I found his recipes when I was a teenager. The Waltons is a good clean program where there aren't T and A's exposed. I'm still sad over Ralph Waite's death. Blessings to the remainder of the cast.
It is 2020 and I don'r find it on either of my Hallmark chanels but it's on MeTV atnoon (eastern)I like watching on MeTV because it gives you credits you can really read. Iknow it's on Insp but the credits are ittybitty on the bottom of the screen and unreadable. Wish they would change that .. I like to see who played who!!🎈🎈
I could watch the Waltons all day long.. anyone else agree? Xx

This would of been my family just like thrm
It's a shame that most of the older cast are now gone! 😢
That's natural. It would be more of a shame if the younger cast members were gone! ;)
que saudades desse família so exemplos bons
it was a good show taken off the air because the network thought the public were no longer interested in it.
And because some of the stars left and were no longer interested in it either.
What a great video! :)
It is on the air on metv
Oh life then and life now… purity…. 😃
Como puedo ver los capítulos vivo en México y no los encuentro
Ronnie Claire Edwards died in 2016, not 1916
Lynn Hamilton looks like a Klingon! She should keep that bandana!
That is not very respectful. Remember how to make your comments.🎵🎵
They had very unattractive people on the show.A very sappy show.
Mary Ellen was attractive on the playboy magazine 😍
This is way out of date
