The area that is electrified is the easiest place to get robot parts… you can lure robots into it and they’ll die fast.
Even during the day, you can do this by attacking the recharge station to wake the robot.

there is another way to get to level 3. You need to go into room with electrified water (near big lift) and make yourself a way into vents there (you probably need to snatch a chair with you to boost yourself a little) and then you will open a door between lvl3 and lvl2 and if you go up there in this door you will be right in the storage room with anvils. Super tomato + antewheat + potato in a pot of water will net you vegetable stew which is 8 sips of 45 food/40 water a sip. (which is great when you have a good supply of fresh water - you can boil water from a fountain in the lobby infinitely)

... I've been in the vents past the fan several times and never noticed that the grate can be dismantled. It's actually been driving me up the wall a bit as to how to get into that room. I ended up grabbing an anvil from the supply room at 5:36, much later in the game progression haha

Plants, at least Tomatos, actually will continue to grow more fruit, you won't need to replace it with another seed. It takes a while to grow again, but if you got enough crops it's basically infinite food.

ngl i forgot to do the lift, but in the closet with the anvil, i dropped a cloth rope down onto the stairs so i could easily get back up
