These look amazing! I’m running Yamaha HS8’s and a WXC-50 preamp in my living room. It’s probably the best system that I’ve heard under $1000. Also the Yamaha app is surprisingly alright and there’s a lot of controls in it. I’d like to see you give it a try!

The binaural mic demo with test tracks is such a dope feature of your channel. I haven't seen anyone else utilizing this to give a sense of a product's sound.
Also I thought the sound of your kids upstairs was actually my kid stomping around upstairs. Hahaha

The presets on this thing are pretty awesome and are worth figuring out playfi for. I have my spotify discover weekly playlist, podcasts, and my favorite radio stations from around the world as presets.

I like these a lot!! That’s awesome that they’re actually as good as advertised according to their website. I’m new to audiophile but I really enjoy looking up specs of my equipment and learning how to get the best out of the potential of my speakers.

I run these with the SB1000 sub with the filter at 90Hz per SVS' advice and am pretty impressed with them. I use them both as speakers for my PC/Xbox when gaming at my desk and for streaming music for my combo dining room area. I had the original Prime Wireless before this, which came across as brighter than most would care for (though I enjoyed the detail for bluegrass music). These seem a little more restrained, like they're tilted a bit more toward bass (so they work better with rock music), but only if your ears are a bit above them (and looking at your measurements, I wonder if they designed it around that placement a bit).
On the Play-Fi app: Generally, no one's a fan, but it doesn't bother me. With the original Prime Wireless, I had a ton of issues where Alexa couldn't communicate with Play-Fi half the time and it would lose connection even though it was hard-wired by ethernet, so after trying everything (including a replacement unit), SVS graciously upgraded me to the Pros. Fortunately, I haven't had a single connection issue with the Pros. For quickly starting some music using Alexa, they're great!
On the presets: I could never get them working on the originals. With the Pros, I had to start streaming the channel I wanted, then hold the preset button down until it saves. Doing it in the Play-Fi app didn't seem to work. If you do this when the playlist is on shuffle, it will shuffle that channel every time you press the preset button, so I have my favorites for given moods saved to each button for quick access.
The one thing I miss from the original that the Pro doesn't have is that with the originals, when you said the wake-up word for your home assistant of choice, the speakers would partially mute for a few seconds so your device could hear the command that followed. For some reason, they took that functionality out for the Pros. I'm hoping it's an option they can put back via an update to Play-Fi, because if I'm really cranking some music, my Echo Dot has trouble hearing the command in the room.

My wife was complaining that the walls were shaking. Four fifteens will do that effortlessly while sounding natural. Bi-amped of course. Mids and highs courtesy of Danish MTMs (Triad LCR Bronze with Logic drivers).

I was using a 7.2 home theater setup in my bedroom and eventually decided it was overkill. Began looking at soundbars and then realized I had some Klipsch active speakers stowed away in a closet. I mounted them above my headboard pointed at the TV and it sounds like the sound is coming from the TV and I don't have to have the volume up very high. Glad I didn't buy a soundbar.

  • @TheVlastakilly

What about clarity and trebles of sound. Folks usually talk about bass but the highs are also important. I bought the Prime Wireless Pro but I will be returning them due to the lack of trebles. When listening quietly you can hardly hear the cymbals which is a bit of a shame....bass is excellent in deed. Any recommendation what instead of them?

So i have AI60s , but i'm annoyed about sound compression... especially for Metal music, it's annoyiiing. Do these sound better for this use case? thanks joe!

If you got the money, don't want clutter, and have limited space, these definitely seem like a no-brainer. I could see a similar model with adjustable DSP being able to top this, but damn. You get good value for a convient pair of speakers.

Hello Everyone! I apologize in advance for this longer comment, I hope someone with more experience and knowledge can help out as the internet articles were rather confusing that down right helpful. That said, I am new to this sphere of (sound) technology and am looking for a suiting Amplifier for future SVS Prime Bookshelf Speakers and SVS SB-1000 combination. So far I've owned few mini stereos and Home Theaters 5.1, and after thorough "research", solely based on RUclips Reviews and Comparisons, I came do decision that the previously mentioned Components are my go-to choice, from price stand point and what they deliver. What Reviews do not touch up on are suiting Amplifiers, and that's my current struggle. I don't know what to look for in a Amplifier and if it's a good fit for wished speakers and sub. My Amplifier (not Receiver) budget would be €450/$490. Hope someone here can help out with a useful comment. Thank You in advance!
