I loved listening to these! Such great little speakers!
Yes they are.
I love my SVS prime wireless - weren’t a good match (used to pop occasionally) with my Lg OLED as blutooth speakers but via optical- they’re perfect.
Using Play-Fi app for streaming - I think they’re the best bookshelf size speaker I’ve ever heard.
Thanks for sharing! These are really good!
Love these, only thing they are missing IMO is an integrated way to wireless connect them to the Pro series subs or the Micro 3000 sub. I bought the TriBand adapter but it would have been nice if that feature is built in to the wireless speakers and the subs in future iterations!
The auto high pass filter for the speakers when a sub is connected is the most underrated feature out there right now. Every time an audio company releases a new active speaker, integrated amp, stereo receiver, etc. without that as an automated or manual feature, it blows my mind. Thanks SVS!
Thanks Adam, yes that would be a nice feature. They probably traded off that to keep the cost down. We fully agree on the active crossover, all units should have it and thank goodness most of the new ones we are seeing have that feature.
Unique design, I love the little display
Thanks, yes, its pretty neat
Great review!! I enjoyed this review more than any other!!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
I like the new styling, and I love powered speakers as an alternative to a soundbar.
They look and sound great! Thanks for watching
Love the new design on these.
Glad you like them!
Comparison with Kef LSX wireless 2 and LS50 wireless 2 ?
Looks awesome
It is!
A pair of those speakers paired with the 3000 Micro would be a potent full range audio system
Yes it would be, thanks for watching
A quality pair of Bookshelfs beside or better, a little bit in front of the tv, is always a soundbar killer ;-)
We agree! Thanks for watching
I don't quite agree... a sound bar that has a center channel makes vocals easier to hear. That's really the only upside
In terms of sound quality, how would you compare these to a stereo pair of the new Sonos Fives for roughly $150 more? I realize these have a leg-up for being able to add any sub + variety of inputs, but wondering if the ability to place Sonos Fives anywhere (in the same room or not) gives them a leg up.
That is an interesting comparison, but those two set ups are vastly different. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss which way would be the best for your needs. Thanks for watching
I would like to use these as computer speakers. What would be the best way to connect them if my PC doesn't have an optical out? Will a hdmi cable from PC motherboard hdmi output into the speaker's eARC input do the job? Thanks!
Yes, that would work well. www.audioadvice.com/svs-prime-wireless-pro-powered-speakers-pair
What is the cable, connecting speakers, type name ? Can it be found on internet/sound equipment shops or just can be ordered from SVS?
You will have to contact SVS to get that. They will have the ones that work with their speakers.
Do you sell the speaker stands in the video? Love my full SVS system
That is an old discontinued pair our videographer had, we should probably stop showing them. Thanks for watching
Are the specs correct in reference to the weight of the active and passive speaker?
The specs on our site come from SVS. They show the same. But we did not weigh them. Thanks for watching
Back of speaker list an (ARC) input. Not a (eARC) as you state. That is VERY important to some of us
SVS has informed us that it is eARC. We are not sure why they did not label it that way. Thanks for pointing that out.
Can these be hooked up to an avr for wireless surround?
If your AVR had preamp outs, but you would need to run a pair of RCA cables to them and make sure they always powered on at the same volume level.
What about clarity and trebles of sound. Folks usually talk about bass but the highs are also important. I bought the Prime Wireless Pro but I will be returning them due to the lack of trebles. When listening quietly you can hardly hear the cymbals which is a bit of a shame. Any recommendation for replacing instead of them?
Your experience at low levels is very interesting. Can we assume the sonic character changed as you turned up the volume. You should reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com for more advice. Thanks for watching
Would love to see these compared to the new nines, i know the nines are more expensive but just to see how big the difference
That would be a great test! You're right, the Nines are way larger and sounded fantastic to us. But the SVS's were quite impressive for their size.
Is the front display lit up white or blue? It is hard to tell as it appears both at times.
It's a little more white in person
Do you ship to Kenya, or would the cost be much higher?
Sorry, we only ship in the USA, but please continue to enjoy our content
Can you pair multiple speakers up for a multi channel?
Technically if you ran the preamp outputs from a surround sound processor yes, but that would be messy. Thanks for watching
Are better than the Q Acoustics M20 HD?
Sorry, we have not heard those
What stands are you using in the earlier part of the video ?
Those are some old stands our videographer had, we are not sure, sorry
@@AudioAdvice Thank you ...just thought they looked really good with the speakers !
Can I wirelessly connect these to a svs sub?
SVS makes a wireless transmitter you can use, so yes.
Is the HDMI input eARC or ARC?
eArc
What kind of stands are using in this video … greeting
They are made by SolidSteel.
How do you like these near field on a desk?
If you angle them in and sit about 3-4 ft from them, they will work great. We also like the Iso Acoustics desktop stands for speakers like this for nearfield use www.audioadvice.com/shop-by-brand/isoacoustics/isoacoustics-iso130
These or Kef LS50wireless2?
Both are great speakers, please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss. Thanks for watching
Are you forced to keep the primary speaker on the right?
That is correct. It does not have a button like some others do to flip channels. Thanks for watching
Well unfortunately that’s a deal breaker for my situation. Dang
Pretty sure no delay any longer with Play-Fi update…
Thanks for sharing we will check it out
Still not on the SVS site yet
We are taking preorders now www.audioadvice.com/svs-prime-wireless-pro-powered-speakers-pair
DTS Play-Fi? I'm out!
It's one of many options in this, so I don't see the issue
that screen 🤢
what kind of stands are those that your using?
We wish they were still around, our videographer had an old pair. Everyone really seems to like these and they do look cool! But we have no idea where to get them. Thanks for watching
