As a kid I can't remember being so mad at a finish when I saw Morrison about to beat them both and win the championship via escaping, everyone is cheering, the pop would be huge and then R-Truth comes out of nowhere and slams the cage door on Morrison's head and costs him the championship. Still pisses me off.
You can give credit to john Morrison because he started his in wwe career as a tough enough winner and his career has evolved from winning championships in wwe to other winning championships in other organizations to have a acting career . That is so amazing

I had about a 10 minute talk with him, we talked about his first run in WWE and what it was like Wrestling in the Performance Centre. On that same tour they had Joey Janela Trey Miguel Buddy Mathews Tenille Dashwood Brian Cage Flip Gordon Alaex Zayne Alexander Hammerstone Chelsa Green and Matt Cardona. I was also talking to Cardona about his run outside of WWE, I asked him out the match with Nick Gage, how he arrived in GCW and I told him how this is the work of his career. Cardona then gave ne a free signed 8×10. Cardona is such a nice guy

I was flipping channels last night and the guide said it was some horror movie so I turned it on. It wasn’t a movie it was lucha underground and John Morrison was on there. He won the ladder match for 100k. It was cool

Say what you want about WWECW, that show brought in some lit talent (Sheamus, Kofi, CM Punk, etc) but Miz and Morrison were a damn good reason to watch ECW.
WWE could've done anything with this guy. He is big, strong, and easily the best athlete WWE had ever seen. He could suplex just about anyone and then turn around and do a backflip on them. And his finisher, starship pain, is the most incredible thing I ever seen. Sure his mic skills weren't the greatest, but that can be trained. His character and wardrobe were perfect too. I thought he was just so cool and I think he could've filled the gap for a lot of HBK fans (myself included, HBK is the greatest) when he retired. But no, WWE dropped the ball on him every single time.
John is one of the guys I’ve grown up with and has been one of my favourites wherever he’s been and I know he’s been there a few times but I’d love John to return to WWE and the rumble would be perfect and to hear John speak positively about a potential return is great furthermore under Triple H’s creative John would excel but nonetheless John is fantastic wherever he is, such an incredible talent. Creator Clash should be interesting. Johnny is a professional athlete, but Harley is younger, heavier, and seven inches taller. Due to the size difference alone, they'd be a huge mismatch in any other boxing fight. Johnny is going to have the advantage in speed, cardio, and most likely footwork. I just don't know enough about boxing to guess if that'll be enough of an equalizer. Edited to fix a typo. Didn't know that would wipe out the like from CVV. Now I'm sad.
2011 was the time to make him and Miz main event superstars at the same time. But they just never pulled the trigger on him. So sad cause he's been apart of a lot of epic moments in WWE.
