One of the most entertaining fighters in MMA history. Great interview as always Chris.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Rampage vs ariel helwani rivalry is legendary. Legit badass dude.
Ive never seen Rampage being so respectful, nice and humble... you really got a different side of him Chris, thank you
Agreed.
I love how Rampage said having a daughter would make Chris "super soft" and he tried to turn it around like, "but you have a daughter?" And he just sighs "yeah, you're gonna get soft"
@@elijahhill6602 100%
Idk if Id say soft is the right way of putting it. You probably become more caring and aware and empathetic.
Facts!
This was an amazing interview, I could go for another TUF with coach Rampage
Hell no he was horrible coach lol
@@theinvaderblankman4226 still waiting for the grudge match between rampage and tittes
@@wess62373whatever happened to titties??
Watching this dude fight back in the days was dope. Also I wish they had made a second A team movie. He was good
You know that his fights in Japan were fake right? The referees had earpieces.
@@adamirishconundrum851 not all of them. His fights against sakuraba probably was but against randleman and wanderlei, nope
@@bhaveshsingh8931 it was a worked shoot. It's been proven
RUclips videos prove it all. Especially when the narrator says it’s fake. Lol
@@adamirishconundrum851 Some fights were faked, but not all of them, and certainly not the majority.
This was a great interview. Rampage is 100% truthful and raw and Chris makes them feel so comfortable. I hope to see more MMA fighters and personalities on here.
Rampage just speaks so truthfully and real, and CVV is the perfect person to converse with and keep that realness going.
I like how respectful Chris always is with whoever he's interviewing.
That explains so much one time I was 16 year old and I saw rampage walking toward a convention and as he was walking I was in the way I said hey rampage one of his guy said he busy but rampage Gave me a fist bump class act.
I’ve seen so many clips of this that I finally had to watch it. Such a great interview.
This was a fun convo. Rampage is great & interview was awesome. I like that it's an open conversation and not a series of question. It's great when people don't guard their answers. CVV is skilled at connecting with people
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks James!
CVV is a great interviewer and host.
Rampage is a real legend of MMA! He fought in the most exciting era of MMA the pride era, and had some incredible performances, then he came to UFC and won the title. Go back and watch rampage Vs randelman from 2003 the take down defence from rampage was absolutely insane he was SO strong, the arona slam, the beating he gave Chuck, and his fights with wanderlei were all incredible. What a career and he sounds lucid and speaks perfect best of luck and health ☘️
Rampage in his prime would have been awesome in BKFC
Agreed!! 😎💪
Excellent interview. Thank you!
I hope you do more movies, Rampage. Loved the A-Team 🤙🏼
I just came across this interview and damn is it good. Shit I was wanting to hear another 2 hours of this conversation, I liked hearing about his kids and how he was solo raising em. Stuff like that makes ya think too, all while he was fighting the best in the world too. What a awesome dude foreal.
Love Rampage!! Dude is a true bad ass in and outside the Octagon. Great interview CVV!
Rampage on A-Team was an amazing actor. He said the UFC blackballed him from Hollywood after a certain agency signed him and shelfed him. Makes sense because he showed how good he actually is in that movie.
Do you really believe that?
@@pinkribbonskies5731 knowing Dana, yes.
My all time favorite fighter…. My all time favorite interviewer… couldn’t get better than this
Amazing interview Chris! Rampage Jackson the legend, such a humble guy, love his chill vibe. Real cool dude. Wishing him the best in his life. 👊
Great interview man. You brought out his best
I remember watching TUF Season 10 with Rampage and Rashad that's what got me into ordering my first PPV UFC 114 lol
Last pay per view I got was Forrest chopping him down with leg kicks. He seems like a cool guy though.
"Sometimes we feel that we even though we shouldnt"
Thats raw man
One of the most real dudes out there. I love this guy.
He would of been a massive star in his prime in this era. People who don’t know him think Derrick Lewis is funny, Rampage is the OG comedian of MMA & had better fights than Lewis. He definitely doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.
Love all your interviews Chris. You never let a moment slip /no dead air. As soon as you end one topic, boom you are right on point to the next. I appreciate your talent. With this platform flooded with similar content, you definitely stick out from the rest. Happy for your success, and I look forward to many more years of your your star rising. Take care man.
Jeremy.
My all time favorite MMA fighter. Watching Rampage is what got me into MMA.
Rampage checked one of Fedors leg kicks so hard I'm pretty sure Fedor at least fractured his leg. He stumbles back and goes "ahhhh" and does a little dance for a second like he was in high heels on a slippery runway.Fedor being the man fought through it though he's a real one. One of the best checks I've ever seen and people say Rampage doesn't check kicks, but the obviously aren't real fans. Shout out to Rampage for liking this comment.
Such a great interview rampage was alway one of my favorites
as someone else who grew up in the "memphis mania" days, the old tapes and stories don't do it justice. this little rinky-dink 3 state territory was packing the mid south collossium EVERY MONDAY NIGHT for decades. they'd come to my town every friday night, that's where i saw the classic battle of Dutch Mantell and the Master of Pain vs stunning steve austin and (i want to say) frankie lancaster. when Dutch says "they wallowed around the ring for awhile..." he's not joking, that was the WORST match i've ever seen. hard to believe Austin and Master of Pain would become stone cold and undertaker.
You got rampage you got a long time supporter!!!!
When he popped up in TNA one day to start the feud against Tito, I was so hype when I was younger
I wanted nothing more for Rampage to beat Jon Jones at the time.
Rampage is such a loveable person
Hehe. Are you sure?
@@shafo4384seems pretty cool to me
“Ben Askren didn’t get knocked to the ground”. What is Chris talking about?! He got knocked down, beat the count but was in no state to continue.
Loved this interview
It's a shame and almost shocking this only has less than 10k views.
Really good interview.
Great interview! I love rampage.
Really great episode. And loved his honesty too
This is a great interview dude
Great story about the Undertaker.
Rampage real asf this a good interview ⚔️
Rampage jackson is one my favorite ufc fighters absolute legend love rampage jackson
too many good things to say about this crazy dude, Thank you rampage
Sucks to think of what could have been if Master of Pain was nicer to a young Rampage
I just found this channel. Thanks for this. I identified with his story about The Undertaker because the same thing happened to me with Kimbo Slice (RIP) I asked for a pic he declined and I wished him well, moved on and held my L lol
The greatest thing that never happened!!! Rampage is a class act and a legend!!! God Bless n stay safe brother!!!
man, Chris Van Vliet is so knowledgeable mang!
Dudes calmed down a LOT over the years.
I remember listening to him on Opie and Anthony, very chill guy
I miss UFC when rampage was there and when it was first starting I knew every fighter every weight classand I could pretty much follow every fight with the fights being on Spike the only ones I didn't get to see where the pay-per-view title fightsbut you can pretty much keep tabs on who is who now you got the free fights on ESPN you got you got like two big UFC events every month fights every weekI used to know every fighter and every weight class now there's so many fighters and I don't know every fighter in one weight class let alone every weight class the UFC has been growing every year it's so hard to keep track of who's who nowI still love the UFC but I hate watching fights when you don't know who the fighters are because now if you're ranked in the top-15 you don't usually get on a free fight fight night
I'm currently watching love guru and I saw you, but that was to be expected
I’ve always respected rampage since a child watchin Jim fight chuck hearing his story is incredible being a single father of 2 boys a ufc fighter a pimp and was still raising his kids shout out rampage for being a stand up man
The way Rampage showed up to fight Fedor looked like he was only there to collect a check and seemed like he didn't try
There's no shame to losing to fedor
@@omarcarranza215 there isn't, but he showed up out of shape and looked like he didn't even try at all
@@timslee0618 he probably needed to bulk up, there’s a huge weight difference between light heavy and heavyweight he probably has to put on like 20 kilos… and then fight Fedor. Not an easy task, but respect for trying
@@Norkoli MMA is not the sport to bulk up because Cardio is very important. The best HW's usually were always around the 220lbs to 240lbs range. Rampage did not bulk up. He came in out of shape. Rampage did not even try.
Randy Couture when he fought at HW was around the 220 lbs range.
Yea the way he fell out 🤣🤣
Quinton is my Hulk Hogan. I remember watching A-Team reruns right before tuning into UFC, which was some fantistic filler in between raw & smackdown. The A-Team movie came out in High School & me n my lil brother still quote it all the time. Chris has been growing on me since the first bubba interview. I'm almost tempted to sub 😅
Anyone shocked to see a humble, respectful Rampage should watch his pride fight against Murilo Rua
Rampage imitating Liam Neeson calling him broke me lmao
This is the real Rampage he's always been my favourite hey love this dude you da man Quinton
my algorithm is cats, wrestling, basketball
This deserves 1.5M views
I could listen to Rampage every day
Not a Foodie, 291 pounds. 👀
Crazy, The Undertaker ignored me too and gave his autograph to a white kid.
Rampage going to wwe or njpw would be amazing!
What brand of t-shirt is Rampage wearing?
Yo Rampage is awesome. Never knew much about him. He’s an interesting character.
It’s a travesty that Rampage didn’t become a huge action movie star. Maybe it was bad management, I don’t know. But he’s an absolute star.
Wish Rampage's acting career could've gone places, if only for his health. From what I know he was pretty well received for his role in the A-Team, so it's unusual how the man just didn't get any other roles considering his charisma and built-in fanbase. I mean you're telling me Hollywood couldn't have at least made a few mid-budget action films starring Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, the same industry that did its hardest to turn Adrian Brody into an action star? Or at least some supporting roles. According to Rampage himself, he thinks he was sabotaged by his agency...which was the same company that ended up buying the UFC.
Impact Wrestling Main Event Mafia member Rampage Jackson
HEY CHRIS IF U EVER DOING AN INTERVIEW WITH Y2J OR CHRISTIAN. ASK THEM ABOUT THE TIME THEY HAD TO COME DOWN THE RAMP WITH THIER TOWELS AND HAD TO LEAVE NAKED. SEEMS LIKE AN INTERESTING STORY TO HEAR ABOUT. HAVE THEM COME ON YOUR SHOW AND DO AN INTERVIEW ABOUT WWF BACK THEN. IN THAT PROMO SCENERIO
"That door" had No chance 😂😂
That was just beautiful
Creed to the host not all ppl cant have a good conversation with the legend rampage he is very missunderstod
Respect for the legend!!
Rampage Jackson is a good fighter but also very funny as well. If he wasn't a fighter he be a stand up comic
He wasn't as talented technically as a lot of his opponents he was just a badass.
Rampage is the best.
Rampage Iconic Fighter #UFC
Rampage is a monster in the cage but a nice guy out of it
not a foodie? Rampage was caught hiding chocolate bars in his pillows during a training camp before according to mike dolce LOL. Rampage is awesome though he always responded to me when I use to comment on his social media stuff and during his twitch streams, hes a super cool guy
I'm in a movie with Rampage called Fire With Fire, he's a cool dude...
Rampage lookin buff 💪
Unfortunately I think Tyrone took a dive man,I always felt that way
He’s totally different than I thought.
My intro to the ufc was the tuf with rampage and evans. Good times watching that on a shitty crt TV 🤣
He should turn up to AEW Rampage one time lol
How did he make 5M+ when the Gate was 4.3M? Sounds BS.
You both need to try marcos pizza 🙏😂
Rampage the legend ouuuuu 🐺
Omg I totally forgot Rampage was on TNA.
Rampage is a living legend
"Train with Bob Sapp in Thailand" is code for "Im gonna take steroids". They're cheap over there.
Bob sapp is natural what are you talking bout
Rampage is til this day my favorite Fighter ever
Great interview, but rampage has definitely drove like that before lol
A-team
So many "killers" are so mildly mannered to get them in killer mode be like a kettle boiling
Rampage is GOATED
Chris common! You have to know taker history
