This is the most beautiful car Hyundai has ever made. They need to bring the plug-in hybrid to North America. if they do, i’m trading in my 2015, Santa Fe sport turbo, and I’m buying one.👍🏽
@@TheRange7 That is a very good deal. These are going to be a game changer as everyone is is going to want one. Even the Toyota and Honda enthusiasts will yearn for one of these. I look forward to seeing some on the road.
I think if they were position the lights any different it would have looked exactly like a range Rover and they didn't want to get in trouble. That's why the lights are like that. I don't mind, I just wish they would have had a spare tire on the trunk
@Ricky-mo6mv What about reliability? Do Japanese brands have a higher level of reliability than Korean brands? Does Hyundai do anything to improve the reliability of its brands?
@@samuelofosuhene250 My assessment is that the Japanese brands have been cutting corners and have even divulged that they have been implementing ways to cut their costs. Meanwhile, we do know that Hyundai/KIA have only improved over the decades, so it’s definitely becoming a more even playing field in terms of reliability in more recent years. Will be interesting to see how people make out with current generations of vehicles from these automakers.
Here is my comment - weird design on the fenders (wheel wells), but everything else is amazing. One big step in modernistic design concept and exceptional execution. The Hyundai/Kia/Genesis Group is hitting the ball out of the park! The interior is beautiful, definitely plush and ultra modern.
How large is the gas tank ? Does the gas tank door lock ? Why didn’t they put a sun screen on the rear quarter panel windows ? Would like to see more about the HTrac and how it works ? With the HTrac is the overall taller ? What about add ons or accessories ?
My new favorite SUV! I’m loving the Defender/G-Wagon look. Some people get turned off with Hyundai design language, because they are afraid of change. Their minds are so cookie cutter! Hyundai is executing with taking risk with design. This new Santa Fe is no exception! I love the hexagonal like wheel fender design for edgier and bolder look. Side profile just screams Land Rover! If I was a car designer, I definitely work with Hyundai/Kia/Genesis. Compares to other non-luxury brands, they seem to have more fun designing cars and it shows!
We just bought a Sante Fe Limited AWD in Arkansas. This appears to be a great vehicle. The interior reminds me of a Tesla. Paid 48k and milage listed is 22 city and 28 hw.
The 2024 Santa Fe is going to be the next Telluride. As in everyone is going to want one. As much as I love the Telluride, this is just a few levels above on the interior and exterior. However, if you like something a little more conventional looking but still super sharp and on the boxy aggressive side, go for the Telluride. Bottom line though, the test drive is when we all get a true sense of what vehicle feels right for our comfort and needs.
My main concern, and I have one on order. The 1.6 T Hybrid seems way under powered. It weighs 600 pounds more than my 22 Tucson Hybrid with the same power train. My Tucson ain't exactly a fast car. LOL
This one will kill the sorento! Its so weird how kia is turning soft on their design and hyundai has now the aggressive squared off design! Great Review!
If hyundai have not fixed their smart stream generation engines excessive oil consumption problem I would steer clear of this otherwise great looking vehicle too bad.
That was a dumb idea not to bring plug in version to north america. What were they thinking smh. We already have the 2023 santa fe plug in but most people dont like that styling . But this one is good

ioniq is the best hyundai design to me. if you include genesis then gv80 and g80 are one of the best designed car past decade.
Hyundai and KIA have already begun fading out plug in Hybrids- and rightfully so.
45,800 base for the Limited Hybrid. That's a lot of car for a fair price these days.

This is definitely my next car in 2024!
We have had 4 Santa Fe’s since 2004. Great solid vehicles loaded with features and safety. 2024 model looks fantastic.
Very nice SUV from Hyundai, they are just killing it lately. Not 100% sold on the rear end, but overall very impressive.

This is nice! Better looking than the Japanese brands
Well yeah, the Japanese brands don’t offer much of anything. They are for people who enjoy paying more for less.

Initially, I complained about the tail lights being too polarizing. Now, its grown on me.
I want this! Have a 2021 Palisade and it’s great. However this looks and reviews better than the Palisade I own.
They hit this out the park. Wish it would drive solid like a Lexus GX or Toyota Sequoia

I’m leasing a CX9 signature right now, this will most likely be our next vehicle!

I'm trying to decide between a 2024 Telluride and a 2024 Santa Fe. Any suggestions?
telluride is bigger for sure. but santa fe looks fantastic. it all depends on your needs.
Me too

I wish the ioniq 5 was basically an E-GMP 2024 Santa Fe. I love this thing. It blows my mind that the ioniq 5 is only 0.288 for drag vs this 0.29.
Is this quieter and smoother than the previous generation, or about the same?
A shorter wheelbase will be a great addition
Love it!
What engines and types of transmissions will they have?
I'm waiting for pre-orders to open, then I'm ordering one - HEV, AWD, metallic blue, top trim
My only concern is that the Santa Fe is going to be much more expensive than the current model
This one will kill the sorento! Its so weird how kia is turning soft on their design and hyundai has now the aggressive squared off design! Great Review!
I love it!
I hear the Trend HEC trim (top trim in hybrid) doesn’t have 2nd row heated seats, rain sensors
Wagon body style is coming back!?❤
The interior is amazing but where is the ambient lighting? Its under a $100 to install come on hyundai one little faint strip isnt enough.
I hope they redesign the Pallisade like this
About no PHEV in North America, I wonder if they didn’t want to cannibalize EV9 sales. That or supply issues on the drivetrain.
Make it phev, or no deal!
Hybrid with 7 seats and smaller rims is the one to get.
Fantastic design but taillights should be at proper height.
Do Japanese brands have a higher level of reliability than Korean brands? Does Hyundai do anything to improve the reliability of its brands?
I have 2023 santa fe actually looks like suv, this looks like minivan
If there’s anything that looks like a minivan, it’s the Durango
They need to eliminate the 1.6t engine completely for this vehicle. Even paired with electric on the hybrid it's a fail.
What's wrong with it?
Ok RUclips comment “expert” 😂
It's about 2 inches longer, not 6.
Design led gaudy looks
If hyundai have not fixed their smart stream generation engines excessive oil consumption problem I would steer clear of this otherwise great looking vehicle too bad.
👏👍👏👍
The US model drives diffenrently than the Korean verison.
Looks like a Range Rover 😮
You should have your eyes checked!
The back looks absolutely hideous, its really not a good design and a coolish front, side + boxy factor is really not enough to make up for it
Hyundai is a Hyundai , I have not seem any Hyundai last up to 200k miles and went to junk yards already.
That was a dumb idea not to bring plug in version to north america. What were they thinking smh. We already have the 2023 santa fe plug in but most people dont like that styling . But this one is good
Sorry it’s mini van !
They dropped the ball on the rims. This Calligraphy has amazing rims. The Limited which is one step below , has crappy ugly rims
Looks great except for the ugly wheels (too busy) and paint colors.
I like the colors I have seen so far, but those wheels aren’t my style either. They do offer black rims too though.
It's a bus
TERRIBLE looking whatever!! Wouldn’t drive this tank if you paid me! No!
Its ugly, too long they need to make this in 2row config
