  • After finally crossing into California and getting out of the freezing cold temperatures of the upper Sierras, I find myself camping in barren desert from the Upper Basin down to Mojave. Going through Yosemite national park and hiking the famous cloud rest and later Joshua tree national park.

Overlanding the deserts is perhaps the most open and enjoyable type of 4x4 travel. Deserts have great visibility which makes for spectacular views, and seemingly endless spiderwebs of off-road tracks, plus since they're so open finding somewhere to camp is effortless.

I like your videos a lot. There is a calmness to them, and I think some of that is because you do voice over instead of screaming into a windy microphone like so many others do. LOL!
Also, a lot of RUclipsrs turn their videos into one long selfie, insisting on having a closeup of their face in EVERY shot. I think it's great that you instead focus more on the scenery around you. Great work. Keep it up!

Just discovered your chanel tonight and really enjoying your videos. I see somebody else pointed out that you were at the Salton Sea, and not the Salish. How was it there and does it still smell awful like i remember?
