I just started taking APUSH this year and this really does help. I just wanted to compliment you and thank you for taking the time to create this. I will definitely continue to watch these videos throughout the rest of my APUSH course.
hey Apush dad, Just want to let you know that you still help out ALOT of AP student today, and i appreciate all the work youve put in. and I did'nt have to read the book but just listen to your resume, my grades have skyrocketed
Thank you so much for these videos! I don't know what edition of American pageant you review but it is so consistent with the 14th edition. Thank you!!
You're very welcome. I'm glad they help. I use the 13th edition, so it must not have changed too much for the 14th. Good luck this year. Thanks for watching.
You have no idea how helpful your videos are, my teacher doesn't even tell us when the tests are,and we have to figure them out ourselves. Given, I take APUSH, I understand the teacher not teaching the chapter, but thank you so much for your reviews! Is it possible if you could have any practice tests/quizzes linked on your website! I will definitely tell my friends about your channel!! THANKS SO MUCH
These videos are AMAZING. I usually watch them the nightbefore my test as well as go over class notes and then again during lunch before history class.. these videos you make are great refreshers and are short enough to review over everything thoroughly enough. is there by any chance a link to download all your powerpoints or perhaps email them so I can print them out to use as notes?
Your videos have helped me so much in my apush class! Thank you for uploading these you're like my second teacher!! Please upload a chapter 19 review!!
i love the gadsden purchase skit. "What's the only difference between the Gadsden Purchase and the Louisiana Purchase?" "The Louisiana Purchase was signed in 1803 and gave the U.S 800,000 square miles of French Territory. and the Gadsden Purchase didn't suck."
Hey Adam, so you say the Kansas-Nebraska Act was the north's attempt to bring the railroad to them in response to the Gadsden purchase, but you also said that they got mad it left Kansas and Nebraska to popular sovereignty and nulled the missouri compromise. Wasnt it their act? why would they hinder themselves like this?
Great question. Stephen Douglas was the author of the act, and he was from the North. He favored it because he wanted a northern transcontinental railroad that would have a hub in Illinois, his home state. Many in the North did oppose this, but Douglas was a very well-known, respected Senator with a lot of influence. That's how he was able to get it passed.
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad the videos help. I don't have questions up on my website yet, but if you go to historyteacher(dot)net, there are a bunch of great quizzes under the AP US section. Good luck on your tests and let me know if you need anything.
So... are you going to make a final exam video like 3 hours long that covers everything??? just a thought ;) By the way these videos are fantastic, keep it up!
