thank you for posting. My history teacher is new and makes us read the chapters and write pages and pages about it rather than teaching the chapter in class. Your videos allowed me to understand the material faster and pass those everyday quizzes!
I cannot tell you how much I love your videos. My Apush teacher has never taught Apush before and I was struggling so much and after watching your videos my test scores went up and I went from a C- up to a solid B and I have finals next week. Thank you so much for your videos!!!
I'm not even an AP student... I'm just a Canadian Mom COVID homeschooling my kids and doing a unit on US Gov and discovering there's a LOT I didn't know! Love these vids!
I'm not really sure if you still read these comments but I was wondering if you could release more videos about these chapters going in depth into certain aspects. Because when I get quizzes, it asks specific questions about cartoons, quotes, and terms that were used by people back in that time period and historians. I like that all of your videos give a general idea of the chapter, but it would be more helpful if they could go a little more in depth.
I'm not sure if this is true, but one of my elementary teachers told me that sometimes slaves that were able to buy their freedom, got their money robed and were forced to continue to work as slaves. Also that sometimes they were really released but recaptured and sold into slavery again. The first one I said sounds reasonable, but I'm not sure about the second one, can you please answer my question?
Both are unfortunately true. There are even examples of some free African Americans in the north being captured and forced into slavery. Check out the movie- 12 Years of Slave.

could someone help.
Northwest Ordinance
God bless you...
Great video man. Only thing is that I don't think bacons rebellion was in 1676 but other than that sweet content lol👌
It says 1676 on the slides. Did I say something else in the video? If I did, I am sorry I failed you.
Bacon's rebellion was in fact in 1676 and he said so in the video
It was in 1676, I remember it because it is 100 years before American independence (1776)
The GOAT
You said "slave revolts were not uncommon" but on the screen it says they were (true)
awesome video!
this video was slamtastic
Got my exam tomorrow :3
Why were abolitionists so unpopular at this time?
They were disliked in the south because people in the south promoted slavery and abolitionists wanted to end slavery
doesn't black code created after civil war? how come you mention it as southerner's reaction to the slave revolts?
ALL HAIL MR.JOCZ
2:54 I believe this should be "Eli Whitney" instead of "Eli Whitey." It's still an excellent video, though!
I hope i get a B or higher man
