I know there are photo opportunities in winter, but I confess that I often have a really hard time getting up the motivation to get out and shoot (I'm also in Ohio, so I feel your pain).
A real professional photographer at work told me many years cannon and nikon are glass makers, they stepped in making cameras, nikon have not changed there mounts for 70 years so you can get old lens. I have the nikon d800, looking at nikon 80mm-200mm f2.8 D lens. I have just got the rode videomic ntg
Nikon did actually change their mount recently for their mirrorless cameras, but otherwise that's absolutely right, Nikon introduced the F mount in 1959 so you can still use those old lenses as far as I know. And they offer the FTZ adapter to put F mount lenses on the Z series cameras, which opens up a world of glass there as well.
I love the footage from when it was warm outside! It's making me feel less cold watching it, haha
There was a similar effect while I was editing it lol

Yeah, it's definitely a struggle in the cold. Warm clothes and a hot drink are a requirement.
