    Thanks for the video upload, great watching it. I knew it would be good, talking about astrophotography when Will Riker from Star Trek TNG came on to present it! Uncanny!! I think I'm repeating what others have said, but thanks for your clarity and really explaining things properly and simply.

    I'm so glad I discovered your Tutrorial I have the same set-up!... Nikon Z6ii with the Sigma 20mm 1.8 Art Lens..Couple of questions ONE: for the first part of setting up; getting your focus, do you switch off the MF momentarily to AFS to use the auto focus first to get close to your focus object then back to MF when finer tuning the focus? TWO : do you use AF area mode single or wide?..And Three: what is your White Balance setting ? I have A1when I bring up the 'i" button .I notice you have A as well as A1.Thank you for your clear explanations and perfect speech

    • @attrell
      @attrell  2 года назад

      I only use MF at night, I don't ues AF first then tune.
      I mostly use wide, just single when I need to use it, then I put it back.
      I don't use Auto White Balance for daylight, I use the other Auto White Balance.
      Thank you!

    If you use touch shutter can you eliminate the remote shutter ? Also are there any benefits to using nd filters at night when shooting the Milkyway say? Your channel is awesome I just stumbled across …thanks so much. Your explanations are so easy to follow along with.

    • @attrell
      @attrell  2 года назад +1

      Yes you can eliminate that. No an ND filter will make the image darker, we need to shoot this fast and let in maximum amount of light. And thank you!

    I am planning to buy Nikon Z6ii or Z7ii with the lenses 24-200mm and 24-70mm f4. But I am undecided which camera will good for me. I am interested in night street photography. Which camera and lenses do you recommend? Thank you in advance for your kind response.

    • @attrell
      @attrell  Год назад

      The Z6ii is less and pretty close to being as good as the z7ii but not enough to notice. So the Z6ii is better IMO. The 24mm - 70mm would be great for night shots with a tripod, but if no tripod then consider a prime lens like this. It's small and light too.

    • @attrell

      If you are using the kit lens, the moon must be bright. If you are using a lens with aperture f/2 or wider, it works remarkably anytime.
