Moto Iron® has been successful in producing a high quality springer that is inspired by the classic good looks of the 1936-48 OEM Harley Big Twin Springers, but with the necessary changes required to make installation on modern Harley Davidson Big Twins from 1949-2017 and 1982-2003 Sportster models a very simple, bolt-on task. Modern manufacturing techniques allow this front end to be produced in a manner that is very high quality at an affordable price. With its heavy duty, tapered rear legs and beefy 1" diameter front legs, these springers offer high strength, good looks, and easy bolt-on installation for today’s larger, heavier, and more powerful motorcycles. Unlike other kits on the market, there is no additional cutting/machining required of the included wheel spacers to fit a 1984-99 wide glide wheel to these springers. Additional spacer kits are sold separately for 2000-07 Narrow Glide wheels, as well as spool wheels. Unlike antique OEM Harley springers, these springers are designed to work with modern 11.5” disc brakes. Calipers, rotors, and wheels are all available separately from us for your convenience. These Springers will fit most Harley Davidson Big Twins from 1949-2017 and 1982-2003 Sportsters with 1" neck bearings. Not for use on Dyna or FLT Touring Models.
    Unique Features:
-Heavy duty, tapered rear legs for classic looks and high strength.
-1" diameter front legs for improved durability.
-Precision fit bronze rocker bushings and grease zerks for long life.
    -Precision TIG welded construction.
-Includes 3/4" axle and spacers to fit 1984-1999 Harley Wide Glide wheels.
-Spacer kits to fit 2000-2007 Narrow Glide Wheels or Spool Hub wheels sold separately.
-Available in triple chrome plated or black powder coated finishes.
    Fitment Notes:
-These are designed to fit most Harley Davidson Big Twins from 1949-2017 and 1982-2003 Sportsters with 1" neck bearings and 3/4" Axle.
-They include a 1" diameter steering stem, 3/4" diameter axle, and wheel spacers.
-The included wheel spacers are designed to fit Harley Wide Glide wheels from 1984 - 1999. They work with a 11.5" Harley brake rotor (84-99), and Moto Iron Springer type brake calipers (sold separately).
-To install on 1952-1981 Sportsters, a 7/8" - 1" neck cup conversion kit will be needed.
-You can run other wheels such as 2000-2007 Narrow Glide or Moto Iron Spool Wheels but you will need to purchase the appropriate spacer kit for your application (sold separately).
-The top tree accepts 1/2"-20 fine thread risers and the riser spacing is 4.75" center to center (same as OEM Harley Springers). Keep that in mind when purchasing handlebars.
-If you want to run Harley OEM style handlebars with 3.5" riser spacing you will need to purchase a riser adapter kit.
These will not fit the following bikes:
-2004 & newer Harley Sportsters because of turning radius and fork lock interference
-Dyna wide glide or narrow glide.
-Harley FLT Touring Models (Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide, Road King, Ultra, etc)
-2017-newer Harley Davidson models with the Milwaukee 8 engine.
    -Yamaha XS650 and TX650 models.
