- Easy and cheap goggles approach for fly your favorite drone. Tested into Ryze Tello, but should work into DJI Mavic Mini and others.
By using fly goggles your flying experience will improve a lot. Goggles isolates you from environment, forget about sun glares, you will get a brigther, clear image, despite full sunlight, as you are not disturbed from surroundings, flying inmersion is absolute.
First option is popular double lens Virtual Reality Goggles, they carry a pair of little lens and provide a different image for each eye.
On the other side, my favorite option, least known single lens Fist Person View goggles, they were used for years by hobbist. They carry a single, big, lens and provide a single image for both eyes.
Summarized, single lens FPV googles need not any application special mode, uses full screen resolucion and everything it's cheaper and more simple, you can even build by yourself !
I apologize my bad english accent, please activate subtitles if needed.

This is a helpful video. Not sure why so many haters. The whole point is to get the fpv feel without having the shell out a shit ton of cash. Thanks for the idea.
thaks a lot to you for your positive feedback
Hola Raul - he podido de arrebatar el último de los gafas Quanum Uno Pro en eBay. Un poco costoso pero vale la pena. Muchas gracias por tu video - es una idea estupenda. A propósito soy un guiri estadounidense que vive en VLC :--)
Thanks a lot. I'm glad to read positive feedback from you. I'm afraid most people are dislike becouse they didn't wach full video. Thanks again
@@r.3424 Don't worry about the haters - you did me a great service.
Great, this is what I was looking for. I had mavic air with DJI google, but i sold them all. Now i want to buy mavic mini, but before I was looking for some googles to use it with. Flying with googles is a unique experience. Really beautiful. Thank you! If you find an update single lens google, please let us know. The red ones are discontinued. Thank you!
Please, share here you findings
Great information man, don’t listen to the haters ..
Thanks a lot. I'm glad you enjoy video contents.
Hello, really clear and easy to understand VDO,thanks...maybe would be useful to add the "weight" factor too,the giant Quanum is about 1/2 kilo heavy, after certain time of use tiredness will make itself felt unconfortable (add the Phone weight)....some modern VR Glasses are far lighter and therefore can be weared for longer period of time without fatigue 👍
Looks good. Why not post make and model, where to get etc. Thanks!
Thanks for your post. I'll create soon another video showing a more detailed tutorial, please subscribe not to miss it. I bought my Quanum goggles here: hobbyking.com/en_us/quanum-diy-fpv-goggle-v2-pro.html
A discontinued product.
@@Rpdyer7 Yes, it's a pitty Hobbiking discontinued model. But I'm sure you can find similar products in the market. Main idea I want to explain here is using SINGLE LEN vs DOUBLE LENS goggle.
Tello original + Moto One Macro (Android) + TelloFPV + TL-WA820RE WIFI extender + Powerbank (prestado)
El controlador y el repetidor son fundamentales, el resto opcional
How large is The smartphone?
Unmodified Quanum V2 Pro googles can fit my old Samsung galaxy S3 mini, screen 4.3 inches, body 124.6 x 61.3 x 8.94 mm. After an easy clipping it fits my new Samsung galaxy A40, screen 5.9 inches, body 144.4 x 69.2 x 7.9 mm
@@r.3424 thats ok But its impossible To find the quantum v2😢
@@foxrm1 I am sorry. If I find a replacement I will write it here
@@r.3424 ok Very kind
Good video
Can any googles works on the mavic mini?
This product seems to be discontinued. Is there a replacement?
New models uses a mirror, search this: Viper Goggles
Word of advice, get rid of the music ... it is VERY distracting. So much so that I couldn't even finish your video. (which I'm sure had good content) People don't view these types of videos for entertainment, they do so for information/instruction/advice. If you feel you MUST have music have it in the background. (in other words not at a volume where it's competing with your voice.)
Thanks a lot for your advice. I changed music for a less distracting one during flying sequences, and totally remove it during explanation. All the best.
And I beg you watching video until the end, please ;)
Music is not needed at all
Music is ok ..this is a great information ..if you don’t wanna watch the video with music just keep moving this guy took his time to make this video possible
@@MyrtleBeachCam Thanks !
mola
;)
Why did you write the Mavic mini in the video title? Clickbait!
I apologize for inconvenience. In this video I use a Ryze Tello powered by DJI. In fact, my goggles setting works with a wide selection of drones, Mavic Mini included. Best regards.
Because he wants someone to check his video so he can get a subscribe. I am # 10 that disliked this video! awful!
Video Leaks it works with the Mavic mini too ..
@@MyrtleBeachCam You are right. This goggles works into every phone controlled drone brand / model
Because it doesn't matter which drone you use. That's the whole purpose of the excercise.
