    Hello everyone! Wow, that took me by surprise! I'm really impressed ! Thank you very much for all your comments. There are so many cool ones that really motivate me to keep going! I can't respond to every comment, but I will address the main points. Sorry, no Malon or Talon this time. I just couldn’t get a good picture of them; but I admit it bothers me too haha! And yes, Skull Kid makes an appearance in the film. I thought, why not include him instead of the lost children? The video is not perfect, I admit, but I did my best! By the way, would you be interested in an animated version of this video in the future? Thanks again everyone! See you later for “Jodorowsky’s Dune" ✌

      This was superb. 👍
      It captured our young Link’s trepidation and his overwhelming feeling.
      Don’t stress the small parts.
      You did a wonderful job in recreating a life like affect of the OG game.
      The dead heads are terrifying as always.
      But the Goron’s and Zora’s 👌
      I am glad to have seen this.

    The first few young link looked so innocent like a typical child where all he things about is going outside to play. But in a later picture of young link holding a bomb, you can see his innocent in his eyes are fading after everything he faced up to that point. Young link was really forced to mature much faster as he was burdened with a task and typical child could ever fathom.

      I don't like this attitude great video games need to be turned into movies. The gameplay and story work together in video games. They don't translate well and movies aren't inherently a superior medium.
      A video game is not exactly the same length of a movie. If anything a video game would need to be made into a tv show. Something long form with episodes would work better.

    • @evanbahls7970
      @evanbahls7970 8 месяцев назад +2

      @sroth2021 I'm just saying if these were still shots from an actual movie I'd love to see that movie. I don't think all great video games need to be made into movies, and I don't like it when they stray from the source material, but video games always present as a digitally animated game with a hub on the screen and "press A" popping up and things like that, and if you enjoy certain characters and worlds enough you might think it'd be nice to see those characters and worlds represented in a more realistic way, without the lense of a video game. I know they're different mediums with their own respective strengths, but I'm not going to pretend I don't sincerely want a Zelda movie, and it's not like it would ruin the games if a movie or a short series existed. It'd just be more content for a thing people like.

    • @bloodrival2
      @bloodrival2 8 месяцев назад +3

      I 100% agree with you, to bad we as humans are too dumb to hand off the source materials to the right people. It always someone who doesn't care about it or never watched or played the thing in the first place (I'm looking at you Halo tv show, leave masters chiefs damn helmet on, and stop making John talk down to Cortana, he would never tell her to shut up.)

      @@bloodrival2 I know, it seems like a very obvious thing, if you're going to make a movie or a show based of of a franchise, you stick to the original story and lore and characters as much as possible, that's the what people want from an adaptation, nobody is ever asking for a "re-imagining". I agree about Halo, that's another one where I always would have loved a movie adaptation of the first game, like a sci fi horror similar to Alien or Starship troopers, I even read the book adaptation, but I have a hard time watching the show, I haven't even finished the first season yet.

      It's definitely AI Art, and though I myself think AI Art is super overblown and likely to lead to many, many issues that are overwhelmingly awful and make the concept not worth it overall, when it comes to pitching ideas and dark fantasy in particular I think there's a place for that.
      There is a cool film that could be made with these ideas, and some of the ideas are genuinely cool.
      Again; I don't think that AI Art should even exist, but seeing that it's here to stay I'm fine with pointing out when it does some cool stuff.

    Some of the characters/effects varied in quality (A real shame they struggled to find a Ganondorf that captured the game's air of sinister shrewdness and effortless confidence as opposed to 'generic orc-like deep-voiced baddie'), and some of the enemies had an 80s horror film vibe to them, but most of the locations were very faithful, vibrant recreations (Plus Excalibur is apparently canon in Hyrule), the likes of Impa, Zelda and Sheik were great interpretations but the absolute highlight was Link himself. They got him *perfect*, the adult looked exactly how I'd imagine him to instead of some famous, vaguely-resembling actor with cosmetic ears, but child Link was somehow even better. Visually faultless in aesthetics, but to even have that intense, unwavering stare that says 'I know what's at stake here, I've had heavy, childhood-ending burden placed upon my young shoulders, but I've taken up the mantle of Courage and discovered I wear it well'...big kudos to everyone involved and it makes me hope for a genuine quality realisation of this amazing concept one day. Nintendo have given us hope with their recent forays into films, you never know.

    I thought I had conquered my childhood fear of ReDeads, but that... that image will haunt me.
    That aside, I loved all of these images. Some of them made me laugh, but most of them were just cool.

    That's magical. Would be a better movie back than if it was made today.

    If this came out as an actual movie in the 80's, it would have EASILY been my favorite movie of all time!

    This movie would have been a cult classic in the 80s you would have had to make the movie 3 hours long there would have definitely had to have been a part two or three and this thing would have been epic like Lord of the rings

    I have never really thought about it till now but that owl is almost like the owl in Bohemian Grove a huge owl. Looks
    Like a lot of other symbolism also.

    I could definitely see the fictional people directing this fictional movie use the darkness of the Ganon fight to their advantage. Like how Jaws didn’t show the shark cause the shark robot weren’t good enough (or something like that).

    This would be worse than dark crystal but in ways that it would end up being the best kind of movie ever. And I think only 70's. 80's, and 90's kids can attest to that.

    The main critic I can say about AI art is the overly clean skin. Even by todays standard it's way too smooth. Apart from that the others aspects are nice !

    80's fantasy movies has a special charm with their FX. Even with that "80's"-filter is a big plus. When I was a kid and played the first Zelda back in the 90's I wished there was a movie to tell that fantastic story, see their monster and dungeon bosses. I hope Sony don't screw this long-awaited wish.
