You’re half right… he is a child in the body of an adult, but at the same time he was forced to mentally grow up real fast so he’s not a typical child either anymore. Zelda thought that sending Link back in time to live his childhood would be a good thing but I think Link would have rather just stayed in the future with Zelda.

Link in Minish Cap, The Link in a Link To The past, The Link in Windwaker, Phantom Hourglass, The newly Breath of The Wild and Kingdom. The Link in OOT Becomes Aware of ALL of them after HE collects the gemstones and pull the master sword, which IS symbolic why He cant take the master sword away like in other games He Beats Ganon in the Future and in the present at the same time. Who the fuck is that .... Ganondorf: errmm idk I thought I was the final boss I guess imma walk my ass back to gerudo desert ....the sages and whoever in the future will decide and sorry demise ....we got a new threat Some buff old weird dude
That did seem like the hardest boss I've seen with the ending of Link but I will say it was definitely the most heartfelt ending I've ever seen, deff a good video man, loved it, two thumbs up brotha.
I’d like to think this is canon to the fallen hero timeline, or an alternate reality of it. Link does fall in battle but is given a second chance by the goddess, defeating Ganon but succumbing to his wounds after. whoever this old man is, an emissary of the goddess perhaps, is link’s final test to see if the Goddess faith was well placed and if Link’s soul is worthy of moving on
I think where Shiba says that this fight with Ganon was just a "phantom created from a memory of a battle Link lost" makes it feel clear to me that the Ganon fight here wasn't real; it was just Link proving to Shiba and Hylia that he did have it in him to have been the Hero. Shiba just didn't trust in him and wanted to test Link for himself
Is this character based on Shiba from Rave Master? The bald head, the beard and the robes are almost exactly the same. The setup of him testing the hero's worthiness is a lot like his final battle in the manga, too.
This video made me realize just how far mods for this game have come and I'll be honest I teared up a little bit. I played OOT for the first time when I was so young I couldn't even speak and my Grandma had to help me get through it, she would read dialogue and give me tips, I think I beat the game for the first time when I was 3 or 4 (with a lot of help obviously) One of my oldest memories is actually a nightmare I had of Bongo Bongo when I was 3 years old! This game is so heavily implanted into my mind, and it always make me think of my grandma. Because I was so young when I started playing the game, I would always remember things wrong, and up until I was 5 or 6 I would always remember the game being completely different than the last time I played it, even after that I had a lot of dreams about Ocarina of Time where the game would be completely different, with different areas and items and new story parts after Ganon, and when I see how far these mods are coming it just reminds me of all the things I used to dream about when I was a kid. It makes me pretty emotional lol
It would be hype if Nintendo included a secret final boss for LoZ for 100% completion because your going to need every heart piece and Great Ferry protection the game has to offer.
Link earned his eternal rest. And yet I feel sorry for everyone he’s failed, everyone he’s left behind. Hyrule, his home, his friends, his sworn brother- all beyond his reach forevermore. this is why i love Zelda series, always seems to invite creative thinking from the community and fanbase 😭
Well deserved ending for the hero of time
Bro looks badass.
The end bro, u can't do that to me its to much to handle...
And then his one hidden attack
"DEEZ NUTZ"
he lightly tosses deku nuts at you while repeatedly asking if you enjoy Updog
Link in purgatory makes sense, since hes always waking up across timelines to fight gannon or some other shit lol.
Just beat this. What an ending it was. At least in this universe Link gets closure even after death so all hope is not lost after all.
Bro that was wicked cool. It’s tough deciding which ending was better but I’m leaning towards this one. Link being reunited with his mother is quite a kick in the heart man 😢 Pretty epic fight too. This is the first I’m seeing of The Ultimate Trial so I might have to go back and check out what else there was to it.
Who the fuck is that ....
Ganondorf: errmm idk
I thought I was the final boss
I guess imma walk my ass back to gerudo desert
....the sages and whoever in the future will decide and sorry demise ....we got a new threat
Some buff old weird dude
That did seem like the hardest boss I've seen with the ending of Link but I will say it was definitely the most heartfelt ending I've ever seen, deff a good video man, loved it, two thumbs up brotha.
I like how he was like "I'm gonna destroy you from existence" but when you beat him he's basically "aight we're cool I always got your back"
I’d like to think this is canon to the fallen hero timeline, or an alternate reality of it.
Nice battle music sure wish I could listen to that again 😉🫲
True master quest! 🥲 The name of this game was supposed to be Zelda Ocarina of Time: Master Quest 2.
Is this character based on Shiba from Rave Master? The bald head, the beard and the robes are almost exactly the same. The setup of him testing the hero's worthiness is a lot like his final battle in the manga, too.
Beautiful ending, beautiful cutscenes.
Man, it is stuff like this I wish I continued my fan game, I could, but lost motivation a long time ago.
Glad this got recommended to me too 😂👍🏾
Nooo you should really get back to it. People love seeing what other people are capable of creating.
Ending gave me goosebumps that was crazy
With that amount of necessary rolling, this is more of a souls boss than a zelda one
And then his soul gets janked out of heaven to be reincarnated into... ALTTP Link, if I remember my Zelda timeline lore correctly.
This is absolutely magical. Nice boss story & setup for an epilogue
This is really cool man. Really added to a already great experience. LEGENDARY
This video made me realize just how far mods for this game have come and I'll be honest I teared up a little bit. I played OOT for the first time when I was so young I couldn't even speak and my Grandma had to help me get through it, she would read dialogue and give me tips, I think I beat the game for the first time when I was 3 or 4 (with a lot of help obviously)
One of my oldest memories is actually a nightmare I had of Bongo Bongo when I was 3 years old!
Damn. That old man is JACKED!
A truly masterpiece of fanmades.
Left field theory, bear with me here: could Navi have been Link's mother?
No, the tree link is found sleeping in by Navi at the start of OOT, that's his mom.
@@David-fd4gx oh...thank you. Didn't know that. Thought Navi coming and leaving was like a ghost trying to complete unfinished business.
I can't wait to see them on the other side. Miss them. Just hope they're proud when inget there. Crazy this hit me 😢😂
Better story than tears of the kingdom 😭
If the Zelda series ever does come to an end Link finally getting the peace and rest he deserves is the perfect ending to it. Nicely done Mod!
the ending got me all
😭😭😭😭
What the master quest should have been had Majora’s Mask not have been made by Eiji Aounuma in secret as Miyamoto then saw it and offered help.
what's funny is when the vlvish for ganons evils dids to be undone, hero of time came back to life
The way he grabs his axe and declares his judgment on you is so bad ass its unreal
It would be hype if Nintendo included a secret final boss for LoZ for 100% completion because your going to need every heart piece and Great Ferry protection the game has to offer.
The music is AMAZING
This. This should have been Links fate all along. Brought tears to my eyes. That was beautiful. 🥺💚
That's some Dark Souls level boss cutscene here
Link earned his eternal rest. And yet I feel sorry for everyone he’s failed, everyone he’s left behind. Hyrule, his home, his friends, his sworn brother- all beyond his reach forevermore.
The downfall timeline sounds preposterous and yet it’s pretty grim when a mod like this puts it in front of you. Well done to the creator.
This video deserves more likes, A custom boss is epic
I came for the mod, and now I'm sad. I did NOT expect that ending.
6:47 bro really used his domain expansion
I was here before 100K. It's amazing. THE MUSIC OMG
This is the closest the Hero of Time gets to a happy ending.
I wish the entire game was that difficult
This is My Favorite it feels so real this moment and I wish to play this ending on a original remake if Nintendo can make it happen with this creator 😅 please 🙏
