Catching up with your older videos Graham.
It's a lovely area around there Graham. We did camp near Poole about 25 years ago.We were going over to Cherboug on our tandem to tour around Normandy. In those days it was a cheap two person tent for accomodation.I had some fantastic holidays with Ann and also with some biker mates at other times. (motor bikes) We've been all over Europe with that little tent, mostly on two wheels.Absolutely my best ever holidays. Can't get Ann in a tent now but the Eriba is next best thing.

You’ve about done it all Haydn what great memories you must have. To be honest there comes a time when tenting gets harder for lots of reasons. We can still use a small car and caravan though 👍

@@grahamgetsabout2672 You have done loads more than us in your caravan Graham.I didn't start caravanning until I was 70 (eek!) and haven't used it for over 2 years for various reasons.
The fridge in the Eriba packed up and it took me ages to fix it as I had to take it out completely. The price of a new one was motivating - £800. Then car problems and covid.Had to get a caravan engineer to do some repairs because I have bad arthritis in my hands and couldn't grip things.Hopefully all is well now and we shall be away soon - just local in Derbyshire.I love the fact that like you we can tow a caravan with a small car.Cheers Graham

As you get older your body doesn’t like you doing jobs that seemed easy at one time. I had trouble with our fridge on gas but pulling it forward for good clean around the burner worked so I was lucky. We find it’s just easier to go electric the gas is so expensive if you can get it. I’ve had caravans on and off for years. Always small and modest. It’s only about four years ago I made our tiny car into a camper and we slept in that. I watched our video when Trevor gave me that picture, we really enjoyed it and they are great friends to have. It was nice at cotgrave with them both as well. Look after yourself and have a good day tomorrow at the round Britain cycle race.
