@@JesusChrist-ct1osyeah people like comparing it to the R6, so when it first released it got lots of hate. Not sure how people feel about it now that it’s been out for a bit though.
@@LifeOnTwos Because yamaha stopped selling the r6 and people are pissed that it got replaced by the r7. It is also not comparable to the old legendary r7 so many think it should not be called the r7. If you stop comparing the bike however and just consider it for what it is, the r7 is absolutely amazing. It is insanely nimble, has a great sound, has very good fuel consumption and has good torque all across the rpm range which makes it ideal for the streets.
Damn that sounds good! These are the types of roads I love riding on. Love your bike! Can’t decide what I’d rather have, the R7 or MT-07? Is the R7 uncomfortable on longer rides? I should probably see if there’s a big difference in insurance rates too.
Appreciate that man, the exhaust makes a huge difference. Tbh the R7 is very sporty so it does get uncomfortable fast, they use the same exact engine though so couldn’t see insurance being too much different.
@@LifeOnTwos yeah I’m not sure how insurance decides their rates. Either way I’m sure it’s going to be a lot more than my current rates. I’m kinda leaning towards the MT-07 since it would be my commuter bike, but them R7’s just look so much better imo.
@@LifeOnTwos you don't "need" to get a tune but if I was you I would get a upgraded air filter & get it flashed by 2 Wheel Dyno Works it will change the bike dramatically & make whats already good way better! I can hear the lean pops on ur bike trust me once its flashed even the gas will smell different when it burns
just found you, good stuff bro. ride safe!!
Appreciate you stopping in and checking out the channel!
Not sure why the R7 gets so much hate when it sounds like that!!!
Not sure why it gets a bad rep I love it. Haters gonna hate though
Fax!

Love the content bubba! When you got the SC exhaust, did you get a tune or?
Appreciate that man! I did not get a tune and I don’t feel you need to, but that being said I will probably get it tuned in a month or so.
