You talk about your dream bike being the R1M. I don’t think I could handle a R1M, and if someone asked me what my dream bike would be I don’t know if I could conjure up an answer. I wanna try so many different bikes lol.
It’s a hard question and I’m in the same boat there’s still so many bikes I wanna tryout and once I do my answer may change but for now something about the R1M just does it for me. Do your dealers locally offer dealer days where you can test ride bikes?
@@LifeOnTwos I believe they do, it’s just not very often I make it up to the cities to visit the dealers. But that is a great idea to try out
Completely understandable I’ve yet to go to one myself. I really need to go though I wanna try out the new GSX-8R, and the ninja ZX4rr as if I didn’t get the R7 I would’ve got the zx4rr
was it hard to get use to the clutch coming from a lower cc bike?
Not at all after about a week it basically became muscle memory for me and I think it’s like that for majority of people!

R7 is okay… 3800 miles on mine got it in January of this year and just got side swiped last week I think the bike is overhyped and I can see why it’s hated on I think if I get a tune and exhaust with this insurance money I’ll hopefully be happy lol bc it’s kind of a boring bike in my opinion I never feel the torque everyone talks about and stock exhaust is so bad since it’s so quiet … I got the r7 coming from Harley’s because I didn’t want a piss missile just wanted something to have fun on that I can eventually stunt but not sure kinda lost interest lol I would recommend this bike to beginners but I wouldn’t recommend financing it because the price of it is stupid for what the bike is
Yeah an exhaust and a tune really changes how the bike feels. The problem is that alot of tune shops have no idea how to get rid of decel pops on that bike. Make sure your tune shop knows their stuff, mine still pops just like in the video even after the tune and it is alot louder than it sounds here.
CP2 sounds so incredible - I just wish it made 100hp.

little tip, try not to grip so close to the middle of the grips, try have a more relaxed grip a little further out so you are less likely to have a death wobble

Got my license a few months ago. Been riding around a lot just to ride. No destination just spur of the moment decisions about where to go. Straight? left? right? very simple. I've yet to actually ride at night tho.. land of the midnight sun where Im at, makes it a bit tricky. But Im looking forward to trying it :) good video

@@pleasebesilent7089 dirt bikes are a bit different than street bikes but I don’t think you’ll have any issues making the transition, the R7 is super easy bike to learn on!

Damn that sounds good! These are the types of roads I love riding on. Love your bike! Can’t decide what I’d rather have, the R7 or MT-07? Is the R7 uncomfortable on longer rides? I should probably see if there’s a big difference in insurance rates too.
Appreciate that man, the exhaust makes a huge difference. Tbh the R7 is very sporty so it does get uncomfortable fast, they use the same exact engine though so couldn’t see insurance being too much different.
@@LifeOnTwos yeah I’m not sure how insurance decides their rates. Either way I’m sure it’s going to be a lot more than my current rates. I’m kinda leaning towards the MT-07 since it would be my commuter bike, but them R7’s just look so much better imo.

Did you have your ecu flashed after installing a full exhaust?
I did not but I do plan on getting it flashed in a month or so. Without flash and the full exhaust I’ve had no problems though

Yoshimura AT2 full exhaust / quick-shifter / DNA airbox lid / DNA filter / Moore Mafia Flash and you’ll be good 👍🏻 ask me how I know 😂 btw the black Puig windscreen and black OEM levers change the whole look as well . One other thing is to get rid of the passenger pegs 😂😂😂 but the first thing you should really buy is gear and invest your time practicing. Knowledge is king on the road !
Gotta screenshot this quickly. Haha that’s kind of the point I’m at though I put exhaust on but am just trying to practice and get better with gear before I go all out with the flash and everything. Is Moore Mafia better than the TWDW flash?
All depends on the flash really and what they do. Also how much knowledge they have in the field , just research several before you make a decision. I like Chris and he’s super knowledgeable about motorcycles in general. Moore Mafia on RUclips ! Check them out . Keep practicing !!
