Also, the Sonic Flashbacks music gave me a little anxiety attack, so that's even more hidden trauma I have going on. Neat!
In all "honesty", the dialogue killed it. I expected a mix of cultures but the kids turn out way too human rather than alien.
I like how sea aliens with sticks and bows defeated a fully armed warship with armored futuristic robots wielding miniguns.
With the help of a literal godess
They have eywa on their side 😊
Dont forget the whale and explosives.
Yeah, I'm waiting for Avatar 3 to be just Humanity saying 'screw it' and hitting the place with a Dinosaur Killer Rock. Then the earth corp just picks up the unobtanium without anybody stopping them.
@@briangarvey6895 I though the whole point of Avatar 2 is that they want to make Pandora their second Earth. They can't exactly harvest all the natural resources and exploit the wildlife if its a barren rock
"Feels for Teals" gave me a good belly laugh lol
Can you blame them?
The sonic flashbacks joke killed me 😂😂😂
That's a great new line, "you're just one Crayon over." LOL!
"Getting feels for teals" thats pure gold.
Ya think maybe you could say, “whether we like it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars.” In honor of Lance Reddick, RIP 😞
Man, that Costanza reference really made my day.
“Sully is a family guy” might have been easy to think of for the creative people but it had me dying 😂
"with earth's resources tapped out, james cameron must invent a whole new culture for white actors to appropriate" HAAAAAAA that absolutely killed me 😂
I’ve been waiting for an eternity for this video. It was worth the wait.
That's a reeeeaaall long wait!
@@drawwithdan5821 I would know LOL
Beautiful images but lets face it, this isn't what was going to happen after the first movie. Humanity's obvious response would have been orbital bombardment to kill the hostile wildlife and natives while simultaneously busting up the rock so they could mine easier.
This man has perfect crazy uncle voice who cheers you up with great chaotically wholesome energy
The sonic flashback had me 😂
4:28 I appreciate the restraint against using the "I'd have two nickels" joke for this bit
"Talkin out the side of they necks" put tears in my eyes 🤣🤣
The "somehow Quaritch has returned" got me hahaha
thats awesome! I`ll absolutely have to run out and Miss that one.
The George Costanza jokes were on point!
hahahhahahaha best reference Ever !!!
@2:44 that Ras cut was hilarious gold.
"The most immoral marine biologist since George Castanza." Outstanding.
I laughed SO hard 💀
I too have watched Seinfeld but I didn't get the joke. Can you explain?
@@daphne3631 George Castanza pretended to be a marine biologist in one episode... Google it 😉 Hilarious
Can we talk about the accidental genius of people barely different colors hating each other? I’m sure they’d think we all look like we’re basically the same too.
Rick and Morty did call out racism in a few episodes too, the space snakes one and the nipples one, iirc
Hate does not limit itself to racism. Plenty neighboring countries which have people that look pretty much the same hate each other.
That's not genius. This trope has been used a billion times over, like on Star Trek in the 60s.
They don't hate each other... that wasn't part of the film.
@@BoraHorzaGobuchul Any difference is enough, Even if it's just language or origin. But they had more fingers, smaller tails, smaller arms and Oh God! a slightly different color. Plenty of social commentary happening here.
I just absolutely love the Lonely Island refrence you made
The crayon joke had me laughing
I for real had a sonic flashback sitting in the theater watching this movie. Glad I'm not the only one.
When he said Kiri’s parents aren’t paying child support I screamed “THEYRE LITERALLY PROVIDING HER WITH FOOD AND GOOD LAND!!” Since of her parents are Ewa and Grace and theyre spirits now that they don’t need money. They can grow their own damn plants.
And hammerhead rhinos
The *two* references to George Constanza's marine biologist were what I really needed today. Thank you.
Which was 2nd one?
@@jd8735 5:20
I mean Kiri was just full on chilling underwater without needing to breath in the slightest
"and the help of the most immoral marine biologist since George Costanza" just caught me
"What We Do in the Shallows" was the cherry on top. Love me some Jemaine 😀
That neck talking technology was used in B-17's. Nice to see the technology improve so much in such a short period of time.
Ok, the joke at 3:35 about returning the dead in the CG form was actually funny. Well done!
Somehow palpatine has returned
I can’t stop laughing on the sonic flash backs 😂 🤣
The graphics look awesome. Seems like it would be awesome to watch with VR
Maybe in a couple decades. VR headsets right now don’t have the best graphics.
A movie that was 2 hours longer than it should of been
... should've* - short for "should have" - been! "should of" makes no sense at all, even less to put it in writing.
@0:19 "against James mother fucking cameron, king of the fucking world baby!!!"
-this intro phrase alone didn't just made my day, it made my entire week!!!
4:43 I was just thinking how these numerous clips do not make the movie justice on a RUclips video 😂😂😂
Haha "this time, he did it with a fish horse" had me rolling 🤣 😂
The hability to find exactaly what he's looking for on an entire new planet! A hell of a marine!
This is some of the best Honest Trailer writing in a while. So many great lines.
this was the best HT i can remember. all the references were 10/10. i almost spat my soup out at Ras Trent lmao. Top tier stuff guys.
Finally, Honest Trailers, I've been waiting for this trailer, once again you delivered. 😅
People who caught the George Costanza marine joke " the sea was angry that day my friend "
Guys, we need an honest trailer for the HBO show "Euphoria".
They could also do the Japanese Visual Novel "Euphoria", but it'd probably give everyone nightmares. Don't look it up.
@@201bio☠️
@@201bio i just looked it up and it's an anime game. Nothing to do with the show.
The RUclips prankster dialogue part and Sonic flashbacks part had me dying! 🤣
I'm impressed with how they managed to handle Quaritch in the sequel
I've seent he Avatar the year it came up, was like "cool graphics" and was later mesmerised there was any hype for it continuing.
The "featuring" segment was extra good this time. Well done.
Your shout-out to Ras Trent had me in stitches! 😂😂😂
Sameeee
_I feel seen_
The Sonic waterlevel flashbacks were REAL yall
I just wanted the Bilbo "Hraaa!" scene thrown in during that hiss montage at the end, lol
Please say in your sultry voice "Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me."
So glad you mentioned how alike the brothers were I spent my whole 2nd viewing on trying to figure out what brother did what and who died at the end :X
Netyem is the brother who died
@@ellenkingsley doesn't help much
@MovieAce Neytem is taller than Lo'ak and his voice is deeper
@@ellenkingsley it still doesn't matter, I watched the movie twice.
@@movieace1295 Lol I watched the movie once and I know the one who died. It's the brother with the longer hair and less skinny. Maybe you need a better pair of eyes if you still don't know the one who died.
Thank you for doing Avatar: The Way of Water.
I have been waiting so eagerly for someone to make the bro compilation. Finally.
