Very Western style house. It's cute. All you really need. Too many people have too much house and end up paying tax on rooms they don't use. I wonder where she got that much money. That's not a small amount for the majority of people there. But there are also a lot of successful people there in the upper classes. When I dated a Filipina there and was considering living there for half the year I told her my budget was 10 million pesos but I could go as high as 20 million for the right house/property, she almost passed out.
Bambi is a beautiful, successful woman and a humble human being. She is such a likeable person to watch on RUclips. I know many Filipinos and they are lovely people.
@@Bereadyalways123 what do you mean by Oscar winners? I’m thinking of going there to retire ,and to meet a lady my wife passed away from cancer recently
@ Hello, I have lived there off and on since 1987, so I do know these people so well and the laws there, be very-very careful please, I am sorry about your passed wife, I can give you some advise, do not go with a Pinay under 37 , the odds are though she will have kids, the life there is TUFF and it literally is dog eat dog, look behind the smiles and ask her questions go into detail, be careful of the let’s buy a house trap after they get to know you…a foreigner cannot own land or a FREEHOLD house solely in he’s name, the law is 60/40% you pay 100% but only own 40% and the Pinay lady will own 60% and when the relationship goes wrong and it usually does, you will have no chance get that 40% back NO-WAY….never ever go with a Pinay lady who is still LEGALLY married, the jealous legal husband can have you put in prison for sleeping with he’s still LEGALLY married wife, but usually he’s family and him will just BLACKMAIL you, I am telling you this to help you, my son is 33 half Filipino now in the UK…if you need any advise I will happily help you, I am BLUNT but honest …
The uniquely large dirty kitchen is a great social feature. Perfect overall recipe of land, home and animals. The palm power pole is perfect. No concrete or steel, no preservatives, storm proof, and very low cost!
She is amazing. What a girl. Really admire what she have done to herself. She looks like a nice and very refine lady. Comments from Houston Texas, I would like to rent that.
Great vlog! Enjoyed the guided tour of Bambi's farm house. Such a talented person! Shout out to Bambi and much success to her RUclips, Airbnd business... and thanks for sharing!
America has become so expensive that Americans feels somewhat rich when they go to countries like the Philippines, but im sure for locals $20,000 is expensive.
building a house could be cheap but they can't own the lot. so even if you have money, the Philippine law doesnt grant you the rights to own one. foreigners can buy condos tho.
Well 20k isn't for a good location especially in Manila and Cebu. In the least developed provinces perhaps like in Mindanao. Land there isn't that expensive.

Wowza!! I absolutely love the Farmhouse and everything about it has been carefully designed. I'm so impressed. I'd LOVE to stay there. It's absolutely Gorgeous!!! ❤🎉 San❤🎉
I love the Philippines, fresh air in the provinces & healthy foods, warm people so sincere, friendly. Stress rolls off your brain and you melt into a relaxing atmosphere unlike the stress in the USA so hectic, everything is so expensive. I rented a 3 bedroom house w/stove oven , hot water 3 Sit Aircon fully furnished for $200.00 a month. Fresh garden veggies everyday. Great living in the Philippines and the children are so respectful to their elders as well as the teens and 20 year old very well mannered unlike in the USA the children are rude, disrespectful & ill mannered.
Interested! Never been in Alfonso but definitely interested in staying there when back in Phils. It reminds me of my old hometown which now looks nothing like it was when I was growing up. Sadly it is now a concrete jungle. Bambi's place looks so idyllic.
Great job! Excellent investment. The cost would be higher now due to energy inflation.. i would recommend people wait for summer when all prices come down from low oil prices
Woah! Look what I stumbled upon! 😱 I used to watch your old videos on your main channel 2.5 years ago. Glad to see you're now a travel vlogger! And you're here in my country! That's so cool! Welcome to the Philippines, Zane! 👋
Cavite or Tagaytay are the ideal spots to take a short escape from Manila. Bambi made a good investment. But if I can raise enough funds to own a farmhouse, that would be my baby. I'd rather have it for myself 😊 however, turning it to an airb&b would also be a great source of passive income.
What a beautiful place! I love the colors, the tile, everything about it, and in such a peaceful, natural location. I'd love to come stay there, but I suspect I may not want to leave. Bambi is a real sweetheart; I wish her the best!
What a great place. Would have preferred renting that for the winter than the place I am in. Love the space and province feel. Way to go Bambi. I am sure you will do well with it.
Beutiful quaint property, They don't have to be big to enjoy it' Lots of land and fruit trees is a huge bonus.... Really enjoyed this walk around and a great video.... 😊❤
I love to see young people with a head on their shoulders. Bambi is certainly one of those. It’s no small feat to get that much money together and then use it to build a home rental property. Kudos to you Bambi.
Love the Philippines and the people from there. Too bad it is so far away and inconvenient to move to for us as most of our family is in South America. Financially it would be a win win though. Great videos Zane, thanks to Bambi for sharing her farmhouse with all of us. Cheers!
I own a 750sqm beachfront lot in La Union Philippines complete with a seawall next to a beach resort but still have 12 more years before I retire. My plan is to build a house 5 years before retiring. I’m hoping the price of building materials won’t be so crazy expensive because I want at least 2 stories with 4 bedrooms 3 bath for my kids or guests to stay when they visit. There is a property about 700 sqm complete with a seawall also adjacent to mine that is for sale. The owner wants to sell it for the same price as a brand new Ford Mustang. His property has been vacant for years has no right of way so I am thinking I can probably purchase it so I can extend my lot and build a large swimming pool. My budget is $250k
Absolutely incredible job Ms. Bambi. The front porch and dirty kitchen areas are wonderful pluses. Please pass along my comments to her. Does Bambi have a idea about possible weekly/monthly rates once it is eventually opened?
I've been looking into land in that area myself. I have a friend that retired there and visited for a weekend and fell in love with the area. I'm currently in Tanza, Cavite.
If you have a friend or wife....that can purchase the property. Foreigners can't own land. I tried for 15 years. My house ended up with the wife's family.
Theres model where you still have power of attorney. So then you still dont technically own the land. But your wife/her family can never sell it either.
Let's hope it doesn't come to family quarrels and divorce. It all goes to the wife. Period. She doesn't need to sell it...just take out loans or pawn it. These are well known pitfalls of investing.
Provinces around Metro Manila have the expensive land compare to other areas with the exception of Cebu in Visayas island. But, they would get more expensive once the train system like MRT 7 will be opened next year 2025, the North South Commuter Railways (NSCR) get a partial operation in 2027 and MRT 4, Laguna, Bulacan, Pampanga, Batangas, Cavite, Rizal and Tarlac are the best choices. Cavite Province- LRT 1 (future) Bulacan province- connected by MRT 7, NSCR, New Manila International Airport, and nearest subway station in Metro Manila. you'd be surprised that most Filipinos own their land, even in the major cities, which costs more than that.
20,000 US$ expensive? Are you serious? It's way too cheap by Philippine standards
@richardnuevo if you're local, if you convert $20,000 to PHP peso that 1 million, but for foreigners that ain't bad.
