Love the details, I have a i35e and this professional guide is golden. I am surprised that you don't use a magnetic dish as detail oriented that you are. Keep up the great work
I just bought a used E42. Id love to see a video of the run down of what are the different parts of the tracks, what they do, what we should look for, common issues and things to look for.
That was a great vid!! Thanks for sharing it. I just picked up my 2022 E42 R2 this afternoon. I'm renting it all summer for work. I love Bobcat. Just a great company, super friendly employees, ALWAYS ready to drop what they are working on to help customers out. Probably why I have a bobcat tattoo on my right arm. I've been putting my 2018 T770 thru hell too. I mulch with it, as well as stump grinding, move dirt, dig out stumps, mow etc, etc, etc. I like to do the normal maintenance myself. Get to know my machines better, or just for the enjoyment of it, I guess. Thanks again!!!!
Hey I appreciate this video as Im sure I will the others. My e42 just hit 55hrs today though I have read the owner manual and the supporting documents there's nothing like seeing how it gets done by a pro. I like to do my own maintenance, I dont think you get to know your machine well if you dont work on it I dont anyway Thanks again Sir.
Great video with lots of great tips. I really like your form a funnels, and I will not be throwing away those plastic jugs anymore. What brand is that long necked hose clamp for the hydraulic hoses? I cant find that thanks.
Thanks for all the great bobcat "how to's"! I have two questions one about parts that are no longer available from Bobcat, I have a 1988 Bobcat 100 mini excavator and I am looking to replace pins and bushings on the boom and stick but can't find anything. Any suggestions? Second I am in the process of buying a 763F model any advice of what to watch out for? Thanks again for the great videos.
Honestly they are all very good machines, none of them have major problems that I ever run into. Parts for the older ones are getting harder to find. The only machine I would stay away from is the E85, especially the older ones with the yanmar/DPF engine.
Sorry to hijack this post. Do you have experience with motor carrier seals on 763 era machines. We replaced ours and are still pumping hyd oil into the chain case. Thought we did an OK job but may not know the tricks. Ordered 2nd set of seals and planning to try again.
When you pull the motor, look at the center of the carrier shaft, you should see a plug. Make sure the plug did not back out and is tight. You can also put a pry bar into carrier shaft and try to move up and down to check carrier bearings. If the bearings are bad the it will damage the new seal.
Thanks again for another informative video. Question, does Bobcat recommend installing the hyd filters dry on all machines-skidsteers, etc whatever age? Thank you.
Most manufacturers do recommend installing filters dry, even on engines unless it's a fresh rebuild. They filter from the outside so the theory is if you fill the filters thru the center hole then unfiltered oil with possible contamination can enter the system.
Omg I wish I watched this before I changed my filters what a mess...I will upload my video to my channel in a couple days and you can laugh and comment. I subscribed and liked 🙂 thank you .
geralmente não será um problema. O segredo por trás de não arquivar o filtro é evitar que a contaminação entre no lado limpo do filtro, onde o grande orifício no centro é o lado limpo.
I really enjoy these videos they give me so much info on these machine . I sent you a email about my 773 f series problems . I hope you can give me some insight into what I made need to do to fix it . thanks
Any luck on a reply 😃 ? I've got a simple question ⁉️ for his expertise as well concerning a joystick replacement on a 337 excavator. Bucket won't open up now but everything else works lol
Thanks!
The self-tapping screw trick was super slick...
Just paid a pile of money to have the dealer do the 50 hour service on my E60. I wish I had seen your video first!
This guy is basically teaching me how to do this stuff with out going to school 🤟
I bought an E 60 and do the service myself. This Video was Very Helpful. Thank You very much.
I love to hear that. If you have anything you would like to see covered, please let me know!
This video has been up for a while, but I just found it. Great tips, thanks for sharing.
Great video! We have a 337 and love it! Left me wanting to see the rest of the inspection of the belts and working the air out of the system!
Thank you. I have an E42 and got the 50 hr service. My dealer gave me an oil filter and oil to do it. I will be checking in with them tomorrow.

Great video!! 👍
Thank you! 👍
I enjoyed your video. Very detailed, it is what i was looking for. I'm about to do the 50 hr service on mine. What brand hose pinch pliers are those?
I like the gear wrench set, can be found on Amazon
Does doing the service yourself have any effect on your warranty?
Another great video thank you!
Thanks
Nice! I see that you are in Utah.
I am in Utah, Thanks for the comment. You have an awesome channel by the way! 👍
Is there something serious that can happen, if I fill more oil in the travel motor than the level ?
The oil needs room to expand so as long as its not topped off it should be fine.
@@tetradgroup Thank you.

I'm not one to laugh, trust me I learned the hard way to.
I just did another video on an e42 that might help you with that oil filter mess next time
@@tetradgroup You do neat great work i will be watching that video. Thank you for helping
You independent or do you work for bobcat? Also what state?
Olá! Costumo montar com o filtro cheio de óleo existe algum problema nisso? 🇧🇷

Rad! Now how do I get 100k + to buy one cash. I would love one of these and a track loader. Enter me in the grand prize drawing
Sorry I did say what machine it's a bobcat E50z
That’s crazy they won’t put 20$ worth of shutoff valves on a 80k$ machine
👊
1:19. I did that
