I'd get a t-case shift actuator from a different Toyota (FJ) for reliability, had problems with mine. "Dream" mod that would've made me love my 3rd gen would've been a ZF-8 AT, both the stock AT and MT trans were either unreliable and/or horrible at dump shifting. I've driven the ZF-8 in multiple vehicles and love it, so smooth in many shift scenarios. Hopefully the 4th gen 8 spd is at least as good.

Dirt Lifestyle is a great channel... he has a great video about why his "wife's" Gladiator is better than the Tacoma, just sayin... I am surprised he hasn't sold the Tacoma and got a second Gladiator.
