Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery!
This video contains a paid advertisement
Thank you Kaulin , Rhett and Jeffe for the adventure , seeing some beautiful scenery and great recoveries !
Good PR and customer relations always a great thing especially for the line of work you’re in.
From what I see in the videos, y’all are very good at that. A lot of your customers are real thankful to meet you/ the crew not just because they’re stuck but because of your presence in the area and y’all are good people. It’s cool to see you/ the crew taking time to acknowledge that.
I hope this channel is around for a long, long time . 👍❤
Like Rory Irish says a few hundred miles to the east, "I'd rather have too much equipment, than not enough." (Matt would say, "That Wrecker is a 'Beast'.")
I just watched your son inaudibly pay you a very big compliment. Into the video he explained with no jocularity,
"I've never done this" and then they established a plan then went back to his a video voice. If you were on site, it would not have been different. He learned common sense from someone. Good on you.
Jeffe has been absent too long. He always makes the videos fun.
I love all the idiot commenters making up stories about how he left the channel, blah blah. People have no idea whats going on in these guy's lives and just make up nonsense.
I've never seen more capable, self-reliant kids in my life. Kudos to Jamie and Matt AND you kids.
and to them young man as well,,they are good people
You obviously have seen very little of the world,it’s not that rare.
Im with y on that, Matt and Jamie have done a wonderful job.
The thing is, they’re no longer kids, and they were brought up to do this!
I had the pleasure of meeting you guys today July 2. Biggest thing was happening was five bullet holes in our fire station and then you all showed up today I first viewed one of your videos last night for the first time still blowing my mind then you drove by my house, so I’m making up for last time. Checking out every video I can you guys are awesome. Great meeting you today. Thank you again, I took a picture of my jeep next to your toe rig. One of my buddies couldn’t believe it.
The wrecker literally doesn't care what you put behind it lol
Watching all the way from South Africa
And New Zealand
Lekker man. ;)
@@johndevires5911Lekker man, lekker! 🤭
So when I was a kid growing up, my dad bought a 1968 Kaiser CJ five we put a lift kit on it. It had a in-line six we put headers on it to let it breathe and Dad got his hands on 415 inch wide racing slicks that he took to a tire shop and had them puthalf inch in sets of two about 4 inches apart little paddles and we tore up Pismo Beach Glamis everywhere we could find sand dunes. My childhood was awesome. I had sand burgers, sand, hotdogs, sand, macaroni, and cheese. Sometimes mom could even make sand tuna casserole. My childhood was the best and I wouldn’t change it for anything thanks mom and dad and thank you mats off-road recovery for bringing back such fond memories. Our arms are forever wrapped around you here in Kennewick Washington Washington state on the mighty Columbia river
and to this day, still dropping marbles out... 🤣 I hate sand, that's not used for some traction on ice/snow roads. lol
Don't dangle the Jefe! 😅
The crew is getting very comfortable in front of the camera. Nice narrative, banter and a seamless advertisement for soft shackles.
"Somebody put it in the shade for me"
Did Jake really drink his water ‘pinky up’ like the sophisticated man he is? 😂😂
He adds a 'touch of class' to every video ;)
its actually less sophisticated since it uses fewer digits.
Pinkies out for the boys!
girly man.
Down in a hole, feelin' so small...
Right on brother! 🤘
I'm not losing my soul, because I'm saved by the grace of Christ Jesus.
Down in a hole, losin my soul...
Colin's stepped up to the plate well for his dad in recent episodesl; and that recovery from the hot tub wasn't easy as Jefe clearly understood. The whole team learns from these things including Rhett with sneaky soft sand.
Dude, that's my buddy with broke front axle on his jeep in the hot tub, awesome vacation buddy can't wait to see ya.
“Im in the bronco” slaps the door with the keys😂
The "Un-necessary Front Crab" is the new Un-necessary front dig.
The eagle caught me off guard haha!
great job on those recoveries guys, the wrecker makes light of both jobs, thanks for sharing
Never ceases to amaze me seeing the heavy wrecker crab walk
Hey. 😂 almost lost my coffee. 😊
Nice work, glad to see Jefe get outside even if it was for a short time.
Thanks guy. Plenty of views of surrounding countryside . Nice slow job
I haven't seen El Jefe in a long time. Where you been at guy??😂
It's been a while, since Jefe's been in a vid! Whoever edited this video did a great job of blurring the front plate, but @5:12... they forgot the rear plate! 😂😂
Colby standing behind the jeep in the hot tub was no bueno
Good work young man! Looked like an absolute pro out there.
Love seeing someone other than matt doing these super technical recoveries
What in the world? What are they doing down there???
GITIN STUCK!!!!🎉😂
Yall asked and you received. Heffe is back!
I never did.
@@iffykidmn8170 then this doesn’t apply to you. Your opinion wasn’t noted my guy.
@@THEBRAINANAYTOR evidently by your reply it was.
Kalin is even tempered. A+
Wetzels all of you are amazing, you enjoy life and, I'm at a loss for words, I'm nothing you guys are amazing, there's never any giving up, you always find a solution.
The way you are all so confident that the fibre ropes will not fail is quite amazing (Jeffe not so sure)
We needed many more segments on Matt's vacation.
I would love to know how in the heck you guys spot the stranded from sooooo far away?
The overhang on that motor home is crazy
The only reason Matt took even a single day-off is that 2024 is a leap year. So he still technically worked 24/7/365.
Camelback, the hydration container/backpack company has the saying, “Hydrate or die.” Pretty true…
it's been a good minute since we seen the bronco. let's gooo
it was fun visiting the shop this friday.
Next time you're pulling a vehicle up a very steep ledge like that YJ was in before you start driving forward please add a recovery strap from the wreckers bumper to the Broken vehicles bumper in case the Winch line (or both) breaks!! Otherwise great job!!
I used to raise my hood during a hard pull for my own protection, of course I had steel cables also would place a wool blanket on the cable old timer suggested it when I was a teenager.
Love snow runner, best mention in the video
Nice work by Jeffe, Colby and Caulin ...the boss would be proud.
Great to see Jefe again. I have not seen him in a while
Might wanna check for spiders in that can before taking a drink.
Great job guys and it was nice to see Jefe 👍
Great jobs, lovely teamwork.
so nice to see Jefe again! :D
Bronco got stuck.😂😂
Looks like the Diamond Billed Rock Peckers must be all over the Utah area.
Kaulin needs to take the cab that the rollback came with and build his own WLORW.
If you notice at 14:01, the yoke on the front diff is gone. It really wouldn't have mattered if he had a D60 up there, if the nut on the front yoke is loose, you're losing the use of that diff.
Kolin, Jake, Kolby, Jeffe & Rhett!! The AWESOME TEAM!!
Could look into a couple more 12-V batteries for the wrecker winches. (Struggling under load).
That jeep looks tiny behind the wrecker.. 😂
Great recovery Kaulin, Rhett and a Surprise help from Jefe! Not sure if this is a short visit from Jefe, but it was good to see him back with the Team. Headsets, you need headsets, so you can all communicate with each other and both hands are Free, just sayin. 😮😎
Love this channel. Still can't believe you didn't paint the inside of the cab of the off road wrecker. Is that rust on the ceiling?
Didn't that Jeep have way larger tires in the back? As a 4WD, no wonder it was breaking stuff.
Great job guys!
Great to see Heffe (sp? Sorry!). Missed seeing him around lately!
Ok I’ve got a question for your next Q&A……
When winching with the wrecker you guys only winch one line at a time even when you have two lines hooked up? Why is this? Will the remote not allow two winches to run at the same time?
Lol, love the segway at the 10:40 mark!
Guy in the motor home must have fallen asleep in the barbers chair.
Great job guys still look forward to every video
Looks like the dude was either cooking method in that rv or he kidnaped someone, then gave u the tape he tied them up with. Lmao😂
Kaulin's wranglin' that wrecker with a Wrangler on the dangler like a Rassler.
You guys all did a good job.
If you mounted two pulleys low on the rear of the Beast you could get those cables near ground level . It would minimize the possibility of damage . A couple of six or eight inch pulleys would minimize the loss of pulling power .
Hey Matt I seen last year you went to East Tennessee to wheel, why don’t y’all come on down to Kentucky where we have a mixture of trails and different wheeling spots like Wild Cat and Blue Holler and more
Why don't you give the winch remote to the person in the vehicle being towed? That way, they can ajust the height as needed, & it's two less buttons to worry about when driving the wrecker.
Good job guys...Matt is camping ? about time
Good to see Jeff’s back.
Glad. To see hefe back
LOL on the proud clip 🤣
Get one of those 12v fans for the wrecker, will make a world of coolness to those hot drives😊
Looks like somebody already tried to get that RV out and failed judging by that big old hole in the back of it
I would of charged that 2nd guy double just for having that haircut. For the life of me, I don't get why RV manufacturers don't integrate strong, accessible tow hooks on the front and rear of all their vehicles. You got to believe that there's always going to come a time when they are going to get stuck. Look at school buses, they all seem to have them.
Glad to see Jefe again
@MattsOffRoadRecovery I've been wondering why, when you're winching with both lines off of the wrecker's boom, you don't winch them up together instead of 1 at a time. Is it too much load on the electrical system? I figured it'd be less draw on the system because they're sharing the load.
I've seen people putting my little pony toys on Broncos. Funniest thing yet
Try giving the winch controller to the person in tow so they can adjust on the fly...
How on Earth could somebody rear end a motorhome,,, isn't it large enough and bright enough to see it in front of you????💥😥🎶
It is a good thing to put your water in the shade. The ice will last much longer!
I like how it’s 100°+ and these guys are out in the desert with tiny little cups of water. Bro, you guys should legitimately carry flats of water with you. 😂😂😂 also Jeffe…looking pregnant brotha. Let’s handle that, I’be doing the same thing. The military taught us discipline and hard work, we need to stay the course
The youngster are good !, and great to see chefe
Again Rhett is the coolest one in the group
Need to get a pair of headsets in the wrecker.
great video thanks right on time
Hey I am from Oregon I am hoping to take my jeep to Hurricane. Hurricane Utah is now on my bucket list of places to go explore.
Great recoveries.
😂😅 great vid hide cup I mean put in shade then got electrical tape and a lesson on how not to break the cardinal sin of parking off trail and the new guys first time😊 been towed behind wrecker
good watch...awesome job guys
Y'all need to put LizardSkin on the ceiling in 100˚ days and the firewall to protect from the engine. Probably make that cab a lot cooler. You can cover it up with yellow paint afterwards to keep the look you've got now.
A 6 foot chunk of 4x4 would do wonders for your winching and lifting operations.
Sir I hate to tell you sir butttt a 9mm wrench perfectly fits a 1/8th inch 45 degree grease fitting . Used it just the other day
Never understood why these guys don't crank the vehicle's when they tow them...
When we do this here in Tennessee, we crank them to have power brakes.
Matt needs to add AC to the wrecker. Staying cool helps you to keep your cool under stress.
I know there is a reason but wonder why there is not a pipe with chain inside as a spacer to secure the vehicle behind the Wrecker instead of letting it free swing
